Today it is quite obvious that Western-backed process of creation of a Greater Albania is not any propaganda myth but rather visible reality. South Serbia's province of Kosovo-Metochia is already, de facto, a part of "united" Albania from June 1999 and current political situation in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia is surely going in the direction of the separation of North-West Macedonia mainly populated by Albanians who succeeded with the crucial Western support to promulgate a new language law in Macedonia's Parliament according to which, the Albanian language is going to be the second state language (i. e., together with Macedonian the official language of the country) at the same time, however, when the Russian language is in the process of elimination from the schools at the Baltics.

The article deals with the case-study of the Armenian genocide committeed by the Ottoman government in the mid-WWI. The aim of the investigation is to present an ideological background of the Armenian genocide, its course and its consequences. In order to effectively realize the aim of the investigation, the research methodology of the text analysis of historical sources and scholarly research literature is implemented as the fundamental study approach. The final findings of the investigation suggest that the Armenian genocide of 1915−1916 had a deeper ideological-religious background, that was done for the very political-religious purposes having immediate consequences at the time of the next world war as unspoken and unpunished example of successful and brutal ethnic cleansing. The Armenian genocide can be called as the first modern Islamic-Jihad ethnic cleansing.

In regard to international relations (IR), power is understood as the ability of state or other political actors to impose its own control or influence over other state(s) or other political actors, or at least to influence the outcome of events on the local, regional or global level. Power politics as a phenomena has two dimensions: internal and external. The internal dimension is applied in the inner policy of the state and the external in the foreign affairs or outside of the home politics. The powerfulness of a state depends on its real independence or sovereignty from outside influence on both formulation and realization of its own policy. The internal power is represented by the level of autonomy in the inner affairs while the external power corresponds to capacity to control the behaviour and influence from the outside in domestic affairs and to influence by itself the affairs and politics of the others. However, a majority of researchers suggest that power politics mostly means the potential capacity and practical ability to influence the behaviour of other actors in IR in accordance with its own aims calculated into the framework of public or secret national interests.

The Balkan Peninsula, together with the region of South-East Europe, historically has been one of the most important focal points of Russian foreign policy, cultural influences and attempts to spread an ideology of the Orthodox solidarity and the Slavic reciprocity.

If from nothing else, it can be proved from a very fact that the official flag of all kind of Yugoslavia (from 1918 to 2003) was, in fact, an insignia of the 19th century pan-Slavic movement, whose anthem was also used as an official state's anthem of Socialist Yugoslavia ("Hey Slavs").

Illyrian theory of the ethnic origin of the Albanians (created by the German and the Austrian scholars) became purposely the most popular theory of the Albanian nation's derivation among the majority of Albanian scholars, politicians and intellectuals.2 The crucial and concluding point of this theory is that the Albanians are not only an authentic nation (ethnolinguistic group) of the Balkans, but the oldest, aboriginal and autochthonous one in this part of Europe. As a result, the Albanians' South Slavic neighbors (the Serbs, Montenegrins,3 and Macedonian Slavs) in contrast to the "indigenous" Albanians are just "newcomers" to the Balkans who arrived at this peninsula "only" at the turn of the 7th century CE.4 Therefore, their ethnicity and nationality are much more recent than that of the Albanians.5 Subsequently, "historical rights" of the Balkan "autochthonous" Albanian population on certain disputed Balkan territories (primarily between the Albanians and the South Slavs but also and between the Albanians and the Greeks) are stronger, more justifiable and historically more deeply rooted than the "historical rights" of the Serbs, Montenegrins or Macedonian Slavs.6 For that reason, it is expected that a "democratic" West will support the "justifiable" Albanian imperialistic territorial claims framed by the nationalistic idea of a united Greater Albania.
