Introduction. The article studies some aspects of the phenomenon of human individuality. Human individuality is a subject of research interest in many sciences. In the process of human development, the inner world of human individuality, unique in its multidimensionality of consequences, began to be exposed, it is a form of human subjective being, and exists and acts autonomously, while maintaining its integrity. The purpose of the study is to identify basic approaches to defining the ontological essence of a person's individuality. Research methods: historical and analytical method, conceptual and terminological analysis, analysis, synthesis, generalization, abstraction and concretization, comparison, etc. Scientific novelty of the study. The article provides a definition of the phenomenon of «human individuality» from the standpoint of different interdisciplinary directions. The authors note that individuality is not a self-contained integrity that arbitrarily constructs an external and internal manifestation, that is the subjective world of human reality, but rather resembles a space in which the finite and infinite collide, and the opacity of semantic content collide with the content which has already been manifested. Research results: The paper presents various approaches to the phenomenon of individuality from the standpoint of different worldview positions. The authors note that individuality is not a selfcontained integrity that arbitrarily constructs its external and internal manifestation - the subjective world of human reality. Conclusions. The authors note that the essence of individuality is not an alienated sign of the nature of a specific event in the history of evolution. Individuality provides a person with a high opportunity to become a thought of being. In this situation, a person, of course, feels himself an ontological unit responsible for being, realizing himself as a bearer and participant in the meanings of being In the process of understanding his individuality, a person is aware of himself as a subject of the historical process, civil history, potentially possessing all the characteristics of an individualized human race, the ways he unfolds a multidimensional individuality in a generational space - the time of eras, processes that have distinguished a person from living nature.

Introduction. In socio-philosophical research, the study of the value-semantic sphere of the digital generation is becoming more relevant. In the article, the author conducts a theoretical analysis of the literature, reveals the ideas of modern scien- tists about the digital generation. In the empirical part of his research, the author reveals the life meanings and value orientations of today's youth. The purpose of the article is to study life meanings and value orientations of modern youth. Methods. The study uses a comparative analysis of scientific literature, using the questionnaire "On the meaning of life" by V.E. Chudnovsky and the ques- tionnaire "Value Orientations" by M. Rokeach. The scientific novelty of the research. The work focuses on the digital generation's ideas about the meaning of life. The digital generation associates the meaning of life with the vivid living of the pre- sent, since the existing social environment does not give them the opportunity for long-term planning. That is why they have a hedonistic attitude to life. Thus, the process of self-actualization prevails over self-transcendence. Results. The studies indicate that representatives of the digital generation see the meaning of life in achieving personal happiness, in freedom and maintaining individuality and self-realization. The most important values for young people, which determine their value orientations, are health, love, creativity, social recognition, material well-being, and pleasure. Conclusions. In the value sphere of the digital generation, one can detect the absence of clear long-term guidelines due to the continuous changes taking place in the social environment. The uncertainty of social and economic conditions causes difficulties in planning the life of today's youth; however, the digital generation is concerned about the search for the meaning of life and value orientations. Although a hedonistic attitude to life prevails among young people, there is a desire to form a new qualitative level of altruism, where common interests do not contradict the interests of the individual.

The article examines the existence of the digital generation from the viewpoint of the existential approach. The author shows that digital technolo- gies expand a person's connection with reality; he goes beyond his own physicality and overcomes spatial and temporal boundaries. Virtuality begins to be perceived as a continuation of reality, there- fore being-in-the-world is defined by the author as a "hybrid being", which is a synthesis of virtual and everyday life of the subject. In the article, the author concludes that the blurring of the bound- ary between the real and the virtual actualizes the need of the individual for self-determination and self-creation, which are realized in being-with- another. Digital culture leads to the transformation of being-with-another, because in the virtual world the other is absent in his physicality, which makes it possible to hide the identity by creating digital pres- entations. The construction of virtual images allows the subjects to manifest different sides of the multifaceted "I" and overcome social categorization, which makes the communication process deeper in an existential sense.

The article discusses the results of studying the value sphere of the digital generation. The author sets herself the goal of studying the meaningful life guidelines of the digital generation representatives. The author uses the results of students' surveys of two Chelyabinsk universities for the humanities as a basis for the research. The author uses general scientific methods of analysis and synthesis, empirical methods of observation and questioning. As a result of analyzing the survey data and understanding the activity of young people in social communities, the author comes to the conclusion that material security, freedom, self-expression, and love should be considered as the main values of the digital generation. The meaning-of-life guidelines of the digital generation are more consistent with the values of hedonist philosophers (pursuit of pleasure) and stoics (acceptance of life circumstances). The scientific novelty of the work lies in identifying the features of the value sphere of the digital generation. In the value aspect, the digital generation prioritizes education, career, selfdevelopment, travel and enjoyment of life. It has a focus on individualism, self-presentation in the process of virtual communication. A significant method of self-expression for the digital generation is the vestimentary way of revealing individuality. The digital generation is fully immersed in network communication. Virtual communication makes it possible to quickly exchange information, learn new ways to earn money through Internet technologies, but can lead to distortion of information, relativism in judgments and social deprivation.

The article is a detailed review of the books by Maria daVenza Tillmanns "Why We Are in Need of Tales" (Toronto, Iguana Books, 2020—2021). The books appeared as a result of the author's many years' experience in conducting philosophy classes with children (elementary school level). The books are written in the form of a dialogue, which creates the effect of the reader's presence in the fairy tales plots, stimulating reflection on their philosophical content. The author of the article examines the plots from the standpoint of some key ideas of the world philosophical thought.

The article is devoted to the application of the hermeneutic approach in philosophy classes. The author proposes a technique for understand- ing a visual text, which allows one to move from the figurative perception of a work of art to the conceptual and structural level. In her study, the author describes the experience of using this technique while interpreting R. Magritte's painting "Song of Love". As a result of analyzing the group and individual work of students, the author comes to the conclusion that the technique does not only contribute to the discovery of the subjective mean- ing of a work of art, but is effective for the process of self-knowledge.

The article is devoted to the problem of multiple interpretations of a literary text, which creates for the reader a space of a dialogue with the author. The article analyzes the students' interpretations of A.E. Shcherbina's poem "Letter to a Fish", the author considers as the "self" of the interpreter is revealed through working with the text. The author of the article comes to the conclusion that the mul- tiplicity of interpretations conveys the richness of a literary text, its relevance, acquired in the readers' life experience.

The article raises the problem of the compliance of the education system with the requirements of the new time, since this system continues to rely on the knowledge paradigm, ignoring the fact that in an oversaturated information environment, knowledge quickly depreciates and becomes irrelevant. The author comes to the conclusion that a person will quickly adapt to new realities if the education system does not focus on obtaining readymade knowledge, but on developing the ability to independently acquire the necessary knowledge, critically assess it and generate, on this basis, new ideas for effectively solving life problems. To reach the goal a hermeneutic approach should be used in the process of studying the humanities. In the research, the author reveals the educational potential of hermeneutics, the essence of which is to activate the cognitive process, develop the skills of productive work with different sources of information. In the article, the author describes the basic principles of working with text, which allow a deeper assimilation of the material, which opens up prospects for further research — to develop and test an understanding technique that can be used to study verbal texts.

Introduction. The article is focused on studying the area of intersection of contemporary art and philosophy, it is a continuation of the research project on conceptual art and its intersection with philosophy, which we started earlier. By conceptual art, we mean art aimed at intellectual comprehen- sion of what has been seen, art that appeals to thinking and generates philosophical meanings. But if earlier we explored conceptual cinema and mainly visual art of the early 20 th century, then in this article we want to turn to the visual art of the second half of the 20 th century — the beginning of the 21 st century, which is also called contemporary art by art critics. The empirical material of the study was the works of such contemporary artists as E. Warhol, D. Koons, D. Hirst, J. Ono, F. Bacon, I. Kabakov, D. Kos- suth, the movement of "new realists" and photo- realists, the movement of Moscow conceptualists and etc. Contemporary art is one of the ways of understanding the world, visual philosophy, which is of interest for philosophical understanding. The purpose of the article is to conduct a philo- sophical analysis of visual art of the second half of the 20 th — early 21 st I centuries in order to identify its philosophical sources and content. Methods. The author uses the following gen- eral scientific methods: analysis and synthesis, induction, deduction, abstraction. When analyzing works of conceptual art, we use hermeneutic and phenomenological methods, a semiotic approach. We also use the symbolic-contextual method of analyzing exhibition concepts, which is based on identifying the philosophical meanings and ideas of exhibitions of contemporary art. Scientific novelty of the study. We regard con- temporary art as a visual philosophy. Philosophiz- ing, in our opinion, can exist in various forms and forms from everyday practical (the so-called naive philosophizing) to artistic-figurative, that is, visual. Philosophical ideas or concepts are born not only from professional thinkers, but also from artists. The artistic concepts of contemporary artists are similar to the concepts of philosophers, since the goal of both is to cognize the world and grasp be- ing. We find and describe the area of intersection of modern philosophy and contemporary art, each of which is in a situation of crisis separately and continuous dialogue together. Results. In the course of our research, we identify and describe the philosophical origins of visual art in the second half of the twentieth century - early twenty-first century: postmodern philosophical consciousness, conceptualism, the idea of "death of the author" and "death of art", simulacrum, kitsch and camp, the method of deconstruction and its application in modern art. Conclusions. Visual art of the second half of the 20 th century — early 21 st century is a visual form of philosophical questioning about the essence of art itself, about the existence of a person and be- ing in general. The works of contemporary artists are based on philosophical problems: meaning, speech and meaning, the ratio of the rational and the irrational, the problem of abandonment and loneliness of a person, the problem of the "death of the author" and the alienation of the creator from his work, the idea of the impossibility of objective knowledge of reality.

It should be noted that the current situation in Russia with regard to the socio-psychological adaptation of young people (age 17—25) to the changing digital environment does not find a proper theoretical and practical solution. Therefore, representatives of the socio-humanitarian sciences need their own methodology for measuring the adaptability of young people as the basis of their creative life. We believe that the key strategic line in the development of adaptability is to support of a young person formation as a subject of his own life. Despite the challenges of the times, the problem of adaptation in the aspect of subjectivity is limited to the spread of "myths" about the digital society and the declarative statements arising from them without a proper strategic and tactical scientific program. In this regard, the fundamental scientific result of our project will be developing, testing and evaluating the effectiveness of the methodology for measuring the socio-psychological adaptation of young people, developed on the basis of digital anthropology and metrology, which can be used as an interdisciplinary model of socio-humanitarian examination of subjectivity and adaptability. The assessment scale can be based on the idea of a standard (value, meaning), which form subjectivity, are formulated by the subject, determine the direction of his activity, his abilities, the project of his being. The model of this complex non-physical quantity can be represented through the concept of supervenience. Supervenience enables us to explain reductively through functional analysis. By explaining how functions are performed, we will explain the phenomenon. The cognitive model of subjectivity is such an abstractly causally organized system, the mechanisms of which are sufficient for implementing the corresponding functions. Then this model becomes logically possible, and, therefore, empirically confirmed (or refuted). Thus, it becomes possible to theoretically substantiate and experimentally prove that subjectivity is the basis of adaptability (strong option) or adaptability is closely related to subjectivity (weak option) and that for each type of adaptive activity the basis is a certain type of subjectivity. On the basis of this, an interdisciplinary model of socio-humanitarian examination of subjectivity and adaptability will be developed.
