International business decisions to be taken by executive managers of multinational firms are becoming more challenging due to uncertainties in business environment which is due to fast changing and unpredictable domestic, foreign, and global environment for long term sustainability. Even though firms are cautious and take precautions while taking decisions on international investment for production and marketing, their sustainability for a long time in a given business is shaking due to continuous changes in domestic, foreign, and global business environment. This is mainly due to variations in economic conditions, political scenarios, socio-cultural environment, technological breakthroughs, legal aspects and human behavioural effects on opportunities and challenges on the international business performance of multinational firms. In this paper, we have studied in brief, the various domestic, foreign, and global environmental issues which affects the multinational firm's business decisions related to international investments and marketing. The paper also discusses the impact of the domestic environment, foreign environment, and global environment on economical, political, technological, legal, and cultural issues on investment and expansion decisions of multinational corporations in general.

The institutions of higher education in India are in need of infusion of quality and clarity on the approach of building world-class educational institutions in the Indian context and environment. New benchmarks of quality need to be defined to help overall system to move up on the quality spectrum. Research assessment and national ranking of Indian educational institutions can play an important role in improving performance and quality of academic institutions. Recently, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India has identified various criteria and parameters that have global appeal e.g. research output, research impact, learning environment, etc. This framework called National Institutional Ranking Framework has also considered parameters like infrastructure, facilities for differently-abled persons, percentage of students from other states and other countries; percentage of women students and faculty, and percentage of economically and disadvantaged students. The framework has also given weightage to the sports and extra-curricular facilities available in the campuses of universities, which supports on overall development of students in a university. In this paper we have analyzed "National Institutional Ranking System" for higher educational institutions as a novel performance evaluation system using our recently developed analyzing framework called ABCD technique. Based on four constructs Advantages, Benefits, Constraints and Disadvantages, this system consider all determinant issues in key areas through analyzing the major issues and identifying the critical constituent elements.

Mobile banking requires transparent and clear policy and regulations in order to provide privacy and safety of personal data and about the precision of the transmitted data and its potential misuse while carrying out mobile electronic financial transactions. The contracting parties, therefore, should be able to count upon the law to enforce the provisions of contracts that are concluded using (mobile) electronic devices, if required. Task shifting is an optimum alternate solution in the healthcare system to address the acute shortage of professionally qualified healthcare workers in developing countries. This will temporarily help in solving the big problem of providing quality and timely health services to the needy people. Despite many trained health care professionals, our health care system is struggling to provide optimum services to the patients due to many reasons including the high burden of infectious diseases, emigration of trained professionals, difficult working conditions, and low motivation by country governments. Even though, the permanent solution to this problem is to create more professional doctors by increasing training courses, training facilities through modifying government policies and enhancing resources to do so, such actions and resultant solutions take a long time to realize in practice. Hence a quick optimum solution is needed to address the critical shortage of trained healthcare professionals. It is logically argued and in many places practically proven that out of many alternatives, the best alternative for healthcare executives in any hospital of primary health centres is the strategic decision of thinking and implementing the so called strategy of task-shifting. In this paper, we have analysed the process of task-shifting by considering its advantages, benefits, constraints, and disadvantages using an analysing technique called ABCD analysing framework. The Indian auto industry is one of the largest in the world with an annual production of 23.37 million vehicles in FY 2014-15, following a growth of 8.68 per cent over the last year. The automobile industry accounts for 7.1 per cent of the country's gross domestic product (GDP). Moreover, the growing interest of the companies in exploring the rural markets further aided the growth of the sector. Several initiatives by the Government of India and the major automobile players in the Indian market are expected to make India a leader in the world by 2020. The industry produced a total of 23,366,246 vehicles including passenger vehicles, commercial vehicles, three wheelers and two wheelers in April-March 2015 as against 21,500,165 in April-March 2014, registering a growth of 8.68 percent over the same period last year. Indian automobile industry is trying to make a breakthrough in improving the efficiency, durability and cost of vehicles using nanotechnology solutions along with decreasing the pollution by using hydrogen fuel or electric engines. In this paper, we have discussed the effect of nanotechnology innovations on Indian automobile sector in order to solve the problems in automobile efficiency, durability, cost, and environmental pollution. Labour Legislation is very important subject for the Human Resource and Industrial Relation specialization students, who are willing to become HR professionals in corporate sectors. The subject comprises legal intricacies' of welfare, wage, industrial relation, social security and environmental speculations for the institutionalized labour force in India hence, the subject seems to be difficult for the students who perceived their under graduation in other than English medium. Education in India is in stages of renaissance. Education especially higher education has been receiving substantial support and initiatives by the government bodies by having larger number of universities and colleges as portals to address the rising education needs of a growing population. Though demographic dividend is at an advantage in India the levels of employability is staggering over the years.

The need of additional universities in Indian higher education system to provide higher education to all eligible population of the country and the success of private university model in the USA tempted the Indian government to give permission to establish Private Universities in the country. Accordingly, based on section 22 of UGC act, the Indian government has allowed the state governments to establish private universities in the respective states. Presently there are 264 private universities in the country spread over 22 states. Due to non-availability of any financial support from the state and central governments, private universities are trying to sustain through their only strategy of service differentiation through 21st century curriculum and industry integrated programme design. In this paper, we have studied and compared some of the private universities in India in terms of their infrastructure, faculties, variety of courses, and fee structure of identified courses. We have also studied the performance scores given by NIRF, MHRD, Govt. of India for various criterions like Teaching, Learning & Resources, Research and Professional Practice, Graduation Outcomes, Outreach and Inclusivity, Public Perception. Based on the annual fee charged by the private universities established before 2010, we have identified three types of strategies which include low-cost – low quality, high-fee – high-quality, and nominal-fee – high quality strategies and analysed them based on the philosophy and background of such universities in general. We have also identified other innovative strategies offered by many private universities, in general, to differentiate themselves from publicly funded universities. The paper also contains some recommendations based on the observations to improve the quality, relevancy, and effectiveness of educational services and research contributions of private universities.
