Norway's Choices

Staerk talks about the tensions of a rapidly changing Norway that has gone from a homogenous society to Europe's fastest growing immigration center in the space of a generation. Much of Europe is going through similar changes, producing tensions that sometimes erupt in violence. But violence is only a small part of the picture. Terrorism is shocking but rare. It shocks because it is rare. Focusing only on extremists trivializes the challenges of immigration. Adapted from the source document.
