This paper presents some examples of centralized treasury management in public administrations (Federal government, Social Security and in Flanders) and simulates the possible benefit of such a mechanism at the level of the Walloon Region and French Speaking Community. ; Cette publication examine l'intérêt pour la Région wallonne et la Communauté française de recourir à une centralisation de trésorerie, telle qu'il en existe sous des formes diverses au niveau fédéral, au sein de la sécurité sociale ou encore en Flandre. Signalons qu'une centralisation s'inspirant du modèle proposé a été instaurée au début des années 2000 au niveau wallon. ; Peer reviewed
