PRO-Ethics D5.1 Monitoring and Evaluation Concept
The present deliverable is the main output of Task 5.1, which entails the development of a Monitoring and Evaluation Concept. This concept is aimed specifically at the eleven Pilot cases of the PRO-Ethics project, which in turn serve as real live experiments of participatory approaches in research and innovation funding. The pilots are organised in two phases, intended to maximise the possible impact of the project. To this end, the four ongoing Phase I Pilot Cases are reviewed and the learnings applied to create the seven Phase II Pilot Cases. The D5.1 Monitoring and Evaluation Concept thus serves to monitor and evaluate the present Pilots, as well as to create, monitor, and evaluate the new Pilots of Phase II. Beyond the confines of the PRO-Ethics project, the Monitoring and Evaluation Concept should also be applicable outside the project consortium in other programmes and processes with participatory elements. Because of this, the present Concept aims for a rather abstract approach to monitoring and evaluation, to ensure broad applicability.
