This study is conducted to understand the impact of political connection and tax aggressiveness to the firm value, since the previous studies findings are inconclusive. The data used in this study are annual reports from 22 mining sector companies in Indonesia for 2016-2018 period. The data collection method uses secondary data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange website (www.idx.com). After analyze by multiple linear regression technique, the results show that tax aggressiveness has an effect on firm value. However, political connections have no effect on company value. Therefore, it is clear that political connection is less crucial in determining firm value, especially for mining industries in Indonesia because they are already well-established and less competitive. However, tax aggressiveness can be considered as a factor in influencing firm value in mining industries
Indonesian education has several critical issues relate to education access such as commercial accreditation system in university and education becomes business opportunity (Ramly, 2010). Unfortunately, not all prospective students were born in supported financial condition to fund the university educational needs. One alternative is to look for scholarship opportunities provide by third parties or the government. This scholarship has certain demands for scholarship grantees that often creates pressure which takes a sense of gratitude. Emmons & McCullough (2004) states that factors affecting gratitude include self-compassion, positive affect and grit. The research purpose was to empirically analyze the effect of self-compassion, positive affect and grit on gratitude of Bidikmisi scholarship grantee. The research used quantitative methods with multiple regression analysis techniques with the SPSS 25.0 program. The research instruments use Likert scale model. Results showed that there was a significant positive influence between the independent variables and the dependent variable with total 39.2 % influence. Correlation analysis between its variables explained in the discussion.

ABSTRACT Entrepreneurship program has become a national policy that is believed to be a tool to reduce unemployment and poverty. Therefore, entrepreneurship has become a national curriculum in almost every study program and has incorporated entrepreneurship module as one of the subjects in achieving learning outcome and graduate profile. The terms in entrepreneurship are also growing, with the aim of establishing a social construction towards the understanding of entrepreneurship as a science, which contains elements of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Besides, entrepreneurship construct that need to be built in the learning process is very complex and involves multiple disciplines, so it is important to study empirically the relevancy between learning materials and methods in entrepreneurship learning process in higher education. This study aims to examine whether there are differences in the learning materials and methods in entrepreneurial learning at higher education level. The research is carried out in several public and private universities with a sample of 304 students from some courses both for the field of sciences and social studies that have entrepreneurship as one of their taught modules. It can be concluded that entrepreneurial learning materials can be grouped in the aspect of (1) knowledge; (2) skills and (3) attitude. In each aspect, the learning materials are collected and grouped and observed on itslearning methodology. The results by using Anova testing show that there are differences in some teaching materials and learning methods in the same faculty or inter- faculty at several universities. Furthermore, in the cognitive construction of the entrepreneurship metaphor (innovation, creative, proactive and risk -taking), it is found that it has not been delivered usingrelevant learning methods, as well as learning models of personal development. ; THE RELEVANCY BETWEEN LEARNING MATERIALS AND METHODS IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP LEARNING PROCESS IN HIGHER EDUCATION. Two reasons for the three reasons someone can be held accountable according to Prof. G.A. Van Hamel is; people must realize that their actions according to the social order are prohibited and people must determine their will against the changes. So in many ways children have not been able to do these two things so that children cannot think long or mature in connection with their changes. This is important because many children today are victims of narcotics abuse, so they are victims of narcotics intermediaries for other people. This study will describe how large external factors are from the perpetrators to become victims of narcotics intermediaries. This is what needs to be explored considering that children are very easy to become their modus operandi. To avoid this, it is necessary to strengthen the legal system for children who are dealing with the law through criminal sanctions that do not eliminate their future as people who cannot yet be responsible for themselves. It is not intended to release the child from existing lawsuits, but the interests of the child should be a priority, so that the punishment reflects legal protection. As we know, the government needs to be wise in this regard, the government needs preventive measures to keep children away from these illicit goods by working together to work together with the world of education. On the other hand, parents can shape themselves so that they have good individual factors for seminals, perhaps become wise and childlike children, so that children become the successors of the nation and state. In this scientific work, researchers used children's book and narcotics literature which had been examined in advance by the researchers, then the researchers constructed the materials so that they were related. And this scientific work certainly can also be useful for the government, the community, parents whose children are involved in narcotics crime.
