Kata Kunci: Orasi politik, legitimasi, delegitimasi, Pilpres 2019 ABSTRACTPolitical oration (speech) is a good moment for candidate to be able to show his quality both as a person (friendly, warm, optimistic, etc.), thinker (through various ideas and innovations offered), and as a manager (ability to manage government if one is elected as president). The assumption built in this research is that the use of political speeches (speeches) is not optimal as a channel of political communication between the candidate and his constituents. Supposedly, political speeches can be a momentum between candidates and supporters to solve various national problems. This research aims to analyze the political speeches of the two presidential candidates in the 2019 Presidential Election. This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out through literature studies. The content analysis technique used was performed on various documents, which included documentation of candidate debate, news on online media portal and political speeches of both candidates in the 2019 Presidential Election. The results showed that (1) political speeches delivered by Prabowo and Jokowi tended to generalize the problem and causing controversy; (2) the strategies used by the two political candidates are legitimacy and delegitimation; (3) both candidates can show a "positive" and "negative" face which is a balancing element so as to reduce social conflict. Keywords: political oration, legitimation, delegitimation, Presidential Election

In Tumih Village, Wanaraya District, Barito Kuala Regency, South Kalimantan Province, this study attempts to assess the strategy and growth of the agricultural sector as well as the level of community engagement in relation to agriculture. The settlement of Tumih itself has excellent potential for agriculture, particularly rice production. The analytical technique used employs the Strength Field Analysis approach to identify development plans and Participation Strength Analysis to identify the level of community involvement in agriculture in Tumih Village while determining the agricultural sector's strategy. The analysis' findings indicate that the key influencing elements for agricultural development plans in Tumih Village are the availability of human resources in the agricultural sector, particularly in the case of rice, and the farmers' receptivity to new technology. A hindrance in Tumih Village is the absence of irrigation and agricultural technologies. With only 36.5 percent, the assessment of the level of community involvement in planning for agricultural growth is still insufficient.

ABSTRACTThe newsvendor problem is a classic problem of decision making under risk that is taught in traditional Operations and Supply Chain Management classes as a single‐period inventory problem. We discuss the following three pedagogical points of interest to any instructor tasked with teaching this topic: a) why the newsvendor model is relevant in this day and age; b) how to make better sense of the newsvendor problem for students; and c) how to easily implement and administer an active learning exercise in either a traditional classroom, or an online setting. This active learning exercise is a quick, effective, and meaningful way of demonstrating a variety of concepts related to the newsvendor problem that include: a) the rational economic method of calculating optimal order quantity, b) the inherent risk in forecasting and ordering decisions as they relate to surpluses and shortages; and c) the cognitive limitations in decision making that often result in irrational but predictable decision‐making behavior as demonstrated by empirical research on newsvendor behavior. This exercise can help instructors and students transition into broader discussions on human behavior, cognitive limitations, and perceptions of risk. Overall, it should provide the student with an improved understanding of the operational and behavioral issues associated with decision making under risk.

By the nation's foundation of the Malay Islamic Beraja Philosophy (Falsafah Melayu Islam Beraja or MIB, Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah issues various policies including economics policies. Therefore, it is not surprising if most of the policies in Brunei Darussalam are based on Islamic teachings. In the field of monetary for example, the Sultan establishes an Islamic bank named Tabung Amanah Islam Brunei (TAIB) to prevent the public from interest or usury (riba). Sultan also sets a high tax and even prohibits the circulation of various commodities forbidden in Islam, such as khamr (kinds of alcoholic drinks forbidden in Islam as like wine and liquor), and others
