The One Belt, One Road (OBOR) initiative is transforming China"s position across multiple regions. In particular, its role in South and Central Asia is increasing significantly, commensurate with its rising interests in both regions. Central to OBOR are five cooperation priorities: policy coordination, facilities connectivity, unimpeded trade, financial integration, and people-to-people bonds. This paper presents case studies of two corridors, the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the China-Central West Asia Economic Corridor (CCWAEC), mapping political and economic interactions to each of these cooperation priorities. This paper will analyze levels of existing interdependence between China and the states in question in order to determine which cooperation priorities require greater resources and which have already achieved a measure of success. As such, it anticipates future areas of focus for Chinese policy in both regions, indicating a possible trajectory of China"s political and economic interactions in South and Central Asia.

Abstract
Mahmoud Darwish (1941-2008) is regarded as the Palestinian national poet, and the leader of Palestinian resistance poetry. The Chinese version of his poetry collection A Lover From Palestine was published in 2016, then republished in 2020. In the eyes of Chinese researchers and admirers of poetry and Arabic literature in China, Mahmoud Darwish has long been aware of the Palestinian identity crisis under the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and endeavored, through his abundant works, to implement a dynamic poetic construction of the Palestinian national cultural identity, in order to unite, to maintain, and to expand Palestinian national identity on one hand, and to document and inherit Palestinian cultural legacy on the other hand. This paper, based on Darwish's work, tries to explore the poet's considerations of Palestinian national identity crisis, and his faith of the poetry's indispensable role to build up the national cultural identity from three aspects: his awareness of the identity crisis, his poetic construction of a multiidentity, and his strategy of defending it. Thus the poet made a great effort to document, defend and expand the Palestinian authentic, multidimensional identity in his immortal work.

Résumé Les entreprises d'État sont engagées dans une phase de transformation du régime de propriété depuis la deuxième partie des années 1990. Ce mouvement a entraîné des pertes tant matérielles que symboliques pour les ouvriers, et ceux-ci ont multiplié leurs actions de résistance. Cet article est basé sur une enquête menée dans la province du Henan à l'occasion de la fusion de deux entreprises. Elle montre que la rigueur des mesures de réforme et la dépréciation du capital symbolique des ouvriers, maintenant licenciés et réduits au chômage, les a engagés à agir collectivement. Cette action a pour fondement théorique une réflexion sur l'économie morale de subsistance et sur l'équité dans la redistribution des ressources, et elle débouche dans la pratique sur un appel à la résistance. Nous y avons trouvé une logique cachée qui est celle des mouvements de subsistance, et la résistance s'est développée en usant à la fois des moyens traditionnels d'organisation au sein de la gestion de l'entreprise et en mobilisant la notion de la propriété collective. Ce cas met en avant la nécessité de reprendre la réflexion sociologique sur la reformulation des rapports entre la société et l'État. Il est aussi une illustration de l'aggravation de la fracture sociale et de la nécessité de mettre en œuvre des mesures systématiques de protection des parties les plus fragilisées de la population et de garantir les droits du travail.

Enterprises should bear the main responsibility for greenhouse gas emissions. Disclosing carbon emission information is one of the important ways for enterprises to deal with climate change. Taking China's A-share listed companies from 2014 to 2018 as the research sample, we study the impact of external explicit institutional pressure and implicit institutional pressure on corporate carbon information disclosure and analyze the mediating effect of enterprise peer influence in carbon disclosure. The empirical results show that external institutional pressure, namely environmental regulation and Confucian culture, has a significant positive impact on enterprise carbon information disclosure. Enterprise peer influence has a certain mediating effect between external institutional pressure and carbon information disclosure. The government should formulate and improve the carbon information disclosure institution and strengthen external supervision through the joint participation of all sectors of society.
