The rise in immigrant criminal activity in the US is examined. Since 1980 the number of alien prison inmates has increased sixfold, & the illegal incarceration rate is three times the US average. The US has become the target of a number of foreign crime syndicates, & ethnic youth street gangs in refugee communities have added to the increase in criminality. It is argued that alien criminal activity stems from the Immigration Act of 1965 & the failure of the US to control the flow of immigrants into the nation. D. Generoli
