The main attention is focused on time allocation for work and personal life in this article. The research consists of four parts. The first part of this article analyses the theoretical aspects of time allocation for work and personal life. The second part of the article justifies the methodology of the research. In the third part of the article, the time allocation for work and personal life is analysed. Finally, the discussion about time allocation for work and personal life is provided. Having conducted the empirical analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn. The experts defined the concept of the balance between work and personal life in terms of time: the balance between work and personal life is achieved when a person feels consistency and harmony between work and personal life. In terms of time, sleep, work and personal life must be each given 8 h a day, proportionately. However, it has been empirically investigated that the most important area of time allocation for self-employed persons is work. Self-employed persons in Lithuania spent 22.5% of time a day on work, and 77.5% on personal life. Furthermore, in the end of this article, the main conclusions and possible future directions of the research are provided.

The aim of this article is to find out the factors that influence the conjuncture of labour market in the European Union countries. The aspect of the developed and developing countries is also important in this econometric analysis. The conception of theconjuncture of labour market is described in this article. Moreover, the factors and measuring indicators of these factors are presentedin this analysis, too. The first difference (FD) model is used for econometric analysis of the conjuncture of labour market in the European Union countries. Ekonometriniame modelyje sutelkiamasdėmesys ir į išsivysčiusių, ir mažiau išsivysčiusių šalių skirtumus. Straipsnyje apibrėžiama darbo rinkos konjunktūrossamprata, jai įtaką turintys veiksniai bei jiems matuoti tinkami rodikliai. Darbo rinkos konjunktūrai vertinti sudaromasnatūralesnis, paprasčiau interpretuojamas pirmųjų skirtumų (FD – First Difference) modelis, kuris buvo papildytaskintamaisiais aprašančiais atskirų metų įtaką. Straipsnyje taip pat suformuluotos dvi hipotezės, kurios buvo atmestos atlikusekonometrinę analizę.

The methods of research are: systematic and comparative analysis of scientific literature, documents, statistical databases. Graphical and forecast methods are also used. The article consists of 3 parts. Firstly, the theoretical aspects of flexicurity model are analysed. The main attention is focused on 3 flexicurity elements: the flexibility of labour market, the policy of active labour market, social security system. Moreover, there are analyzed previous studies. Secondly, the methodology of research is presented. The assessment consists of 3 elements of flexicurity model: (1) the labour market flexibility (the employment rate of part-time workers, the employment rate of temporary workers, the regulations of labour market); (2) active labour market policy measures (government spending on active labour market policy, employment rate, the participation in lifelong learning); (3) social security system (government spending on passive labour market policy, unemployment benefit, unemployment trap). The data of 2010–2018 are used in this empirical research. Also, there is presented the forecast of 2015–2017 or of 2016–2018. The results of this research are compared with Denmark and EU 28. Thirdly, the main empirical research results are summarized. The study showed up that unemployment rate and employment rate in Lithuania were relatively lower than in Denmark in 2010–2015. But according to employment rate, the labour market in Lithuania was better than in EU 28. It is predicted that Lithuanian unemployment rate will be better than in Denmark and in EU 28 in 2016–2018. On the other hand, it is predicted that according to employment rate, the labour market in Lithuania will be relatively worse than in Denmark. Differences between countries can be due to the adaptation of flexicurity elements in labour market.
