The modern global landscape is characterized by a complex interplay of cultural forces, necessitating a deeper understanding of the mechanisms underlying the formation and negotiation of cultural identities. This article explores the concept of "crystallization" as a fundamental mechanism for shaping cultural identity in the context of the modern polycultural world. Drawing on insights from social philosophy and cultural studies, the article examines the dynamics of cultural interactions and the emergence of non-complementarity in modern society. The notion of "eternal return" is introduced as a main tool through which cultural identities are perpetuated and reinforced over time. The crisis of polyculturalism is analyzed in light of increasing national conflicts and challenges to the principle of cultural equivalence. This crisis underscores the need for new approaches to fostering dialogic relations and mitigating the proliferation of conflict and non-complementarity. Convergent technologies are identified as pivotal in the "crystallization" of cultural identities, transcending traditional boundaries and facilitating the convergence of diverse cultural expressions. This phenomenon has profound implications for the negotiation of identity in modern society. The study highlights the importance of understanding the mechanisms of cultural identity formation in addressing the challenges of the modern polycultural world. By elucidating the concept of "crystallization" and its implications for social philosophy, the article contributes to ongoing discussions on polyculturalism and identity politics.

The aim of the paper is to identify the peculiarities of the content of definitions of the categories "gender identi-ty" and "gender mentality". It is revealed that the first of them corresponds to a greater extent to the thematized socio-cultural reality. This concept is more developed in modern science, while the concept of "gender mentali-ty" is a relatively new and not yet sufficiently developed concept in scientific terms, therefore, in modern litera-ture one can rarely find studies that analyze this concept. The relevance of the study is determined by the need to take into account the differences in the depth of conceptualization of the terms "gender mentality" and "gen-der identity". Currently, there is a transformation of gender mentality, which leads to an inversion of masculine and feminine strategies of human behavior. Gender identity depends on a person's ability to understand him-self, realize his position in the sociocultural space and effectively adapt to society.

The article is devoted to the consideration of a cross-cultural approach to the interpretation of different levels of identities from the standpoint of the theorization of the positions available in science. The aim of this study is to analyze the concept of cross-cultural methodology developed within the framework of relevant research, which becomes one of the significant aspects of the implementation of the mechanism of eternal reversion in the modern era. The novelty of the represented scientific research is the provisions that substantiate the identifica-tion of new forms of realization of the mechanism of "eternal return" inherent in modernity. It is emphasized that cross-cultural processes accompanied by the establishment of personal cultural identity can be interpreted as such. The latter is compared with the sociocultural context, expressing itself in the search for similarities and differences between the Being and the Other, which substantially determines the methodology of cross-cultural processes and research. Conclusion dwells upon the fact that the latter are conditioned by a unified ontological basis of personal cultural identity inscribed in a certain socio-cultural context.

The aim of the article is to show the history of preservation of cultural and historical heritage and the conditions for sustainable development of modern university cities on the example of university and other museums in Russia (mainly Siberia) and France. The main objective is to demonstrate the creation of harmonious campuses, in which economic, environmental and social principles are balanced, serving, among other things, to attract tourists, which at the same time contributes to the creation of new jobs. Using examples, it is considered how, with the help of coordinated actions of local authorities and university leadership, it is possible to resolve the eternal conflict between tourists and local residents. The development of regional museums and the formation of excursions for museum-educational-historical tourism of the Siberian region are analyzed. The analysis of digitization of museum exhibits and opening of access to collections to visitors from all over the world is shown. All this makes it possible to give museum lessons, to conduct toponymic excursions (scientists' names of in street names), field games using local history and traditions, and to introduce elements of theatrical performances. The article shows how virtual tours are organized taking into account international examples. The economic role of museums, festivals, exhibitions in the life of the region is highlighted.
