For a large proportion of Indonesian people, owning a home is merely a dream, especially since house prices continue to rise. Consequently, an increasing number of low-income people (MBR) are not able to own their own homes. This has encouraged the Indonesian Government to release the 13th Economic Policy Package, The Million House Program, and several other financing policies to help MBR obtain affordable housing. In this investigation, an analysis is conducted on the supply and demand of MBR housing in Indonesia. Policy development recommendations to decrease the size of the housing backlog are also provided. This research utilizes the panel data method to analyze data from 34 provinces in Indonesia over a period of 5 years, also by gathering primary data with FGD method toward the property business owners and authorized local government whose in charge in subsidized housing policy. The results illustrate that the human population is the sole factor that affects the growing demand for subsidized housing. Possible solutions to accommodate this increase in demand include a building rights title (HGB), like the financing scheme, and the development of flats, rather than individual housing methods.

The creative industry is currently growing very rapidly in developing countries. This is indicated by various government policies to increase the competitiveness of this industry. Value chains are needed to gain the competitive advantage within this industry at every additional step of the chain. However, there is no comprehensive research on the creative industry value chain in developing countries, such as Indonesia, especially in small and medium enterprises (SMEs). This study attempts to explore the concept of industrial chain values to narrow the gaps that exists in the literature. The research method used is a qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews and observations of 11 SMEs consisting of 5 creative business sub-sectors, namely the culinary, fashion, craft, photography, and visual communication design sectors. The results of this study indicate that, in creative industries, co- creation is the differentiator on the value chain activities, especially those that offer customization. Meanwhile, the use of social media is also considered as an important value chain activities that must be used to effectively communicate the value of the business. The results of this study can be used by stakeholders in Indonesian SMEs as a reference for formulating competitiveness strategies for this creative industry.

This study presents empirical evidence on the condition of entrepreneurship education from universities in ASEAN countries facing the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC). Survey data was obtained from 174 lecturers in five ASEAN countries and was analysed using a normality test with PP-plot and a linearity test. The urge of this study is to integrate the managerial and marketing skills in the entrepreneurship education curriculum in higher education in the face of a rapidly changing global business condition. The government must ensure that higher education institution (HEI) in the country creates a business ecosystem in the internal campus environment or encourages students to seek a business ecosystem outside the HEI and creates mentors from lecturers to accompany these students. Theoretically, this study has expanded the theory of entrepreneurship education, competitive intelligence, and readiness to change in the context of ASEAN institutions. In practice, this study helps in preparing an entrepreneurship education agenda for both leaders and educators who influence entrepreneurship education to become more effective, so that their students can apply their entrepreneurship skills after they graduate.
