Abstract Various opinions about the concept of communication were presented and definitions were made. It is useful to take a look at these views and definitions in order to better understand the importance and place of communication. Other definitions of communication include the transfer of a person or thing to another person/thing, the transformation into an exchange, the process of changing, the stimulation of the memory of the message recipient to respond in accordance with the sender's expectation, and the definition expressed as a form of behavior that is a stimulus for the recipient of the message after Decoupling from the source. Communication, in short, can be defined as the exchange of Decoupled messages between two units. Each human, animal or machine that exchanges mutual messages with each other is called a communication unit. There was not much interest in the subject of communication until after 1945. After experimental studies, the existence of communication science in the post-war period in the United States began to be discussed. the 10 years from 1950 to the 1960s are considered important in terms of efforts to create communication models. According to Johnson and Klare, the first person who moved social scientists to formulate their ideas about communication in the form of a model was Claude Shannon, a mathematician. The second model is psycholinguist C.E. It is based on Osgood's ideas and was presented by mass communication researcher Wilbur Schramm in the early 1950s. The third model is F.E.X. It is the spiral model that Dance puts forward. These models basically see communication as the transfer of messages from A to B. As a result, the main areas of interest of these models are the vehicle, channel, transmitter, receiver, noise and feedback terms related to the process of sending a message. This approach treats communication not as a process, but as the creation of meaning. Key Words: Educational Management, Communication, Communication Models

Firstly, information is characterized as a generally held opinion about things or concepts, and secondly as processed data that describes various qualities of things or concepts. Informatics is the science of regular and intelligent processing of information that a person uses in his communication in technical, economic and social fields and which is the basis of science, especially through electronic machines. A branch of applied science that studies the phenomenon of information, information storage, access strings, methods of processing, transferring and using information, taking into account the benefits of society and humanity. Informatics, which is an interdisciplinary teaching and service segment, also covers topics related to the design, development and production of various tools used in informatics and information access systems, including computers inside. Dec. In addition, many issues that fall within the field of automation, which covers techniques related to the automatic regulation of all kinds of industrial production, are also included in the scope of informatics in a broad sense. In this sense, information, like information, has existed throughout historical periods, even though it has been differentiated within the temporal process. Information has a dynamic and variable structure. Since the second half of the twentieth century, the information society and the information society are mentioned with the information technologies that have settled on the world agenda and daily life with increasing speed step by step, especially with the development and change created in the last decade of the century. More information is more easily accessible in a shorter time. The desired information can be easily disseminated to the desired number of people and institutions in a short time and more information can be stored. Thus, with the innovations caused by information technologies, many applications are gaining international quality. Key Words: Educational Management, Information, Informatics, Information Systems

The data of the study were evaluated using quantitative analysis methods. The most basic finding of the research was that geography education significantly increased the citizenship awareness levels of students.
