A partire da una ricognizione iconografica di alcune delle trasformazioni sociali che nella storia del XX secolo hanno intravisto nel poster un mezzo di comunicazione e nell'immagine un dispositivo per l'informazione capillare, il saggio mira ad approfondire le forme assunte dalle ideologie storiche nei poster di propaganda, le metafore grafiche adottate per divulgare il messaggio e le tecniche persuasive per diffonderne i valori. Non si tratta di una classificazione iconografica strutturata per artista o per periodo storico, ma di un'analisi sull'individuazione di un comune linguaggio per la rappresentazione delle ideologie politiche che in particolari momenti storici si sono intrecciate con i movimenti artistici dai quali hanno attinto strategie e tecniche di espressione per la composizione formale di una propaganda visionaria e visiva. Il materiale grafico del saggio riassume storie visuali di azioni sociali che hanno trovato espressione nella lotta contro le politiche nazionali di controllo, nei movimenti di liberazione e nelle campagne sul rispetto dei diritti umani durante le fasi di ricostruzione di società socialiste come l'Unione Sovietica, la Cina, Cuba, o agli albori dei regimi dittatoriali italo-tedeschi e nei Paesi occupati militarmente dai nazifascisti, attraverso i poster di propaganda e le unità grafiche codificate per simboli e costrutti verbo-visivi. ; Starting from an iconographic recognition of some of the social transformations that in the history of the twentieth century have seen in the poster a means of communication and in the image a device for capillary information, the essay aims to deepen the forms assumed by historical ideologies in posters propaganda, the graphic metaphors adopted to spread the message and the persuasive techniques to spread its values. This is not an iconographic classification structured by artist or historical period, but an analysis on the identification of a common language for the representation of political ideologies that in particular historical moments have intertwined with the artistic movements from which they have drawn strategies and expression techniques for the formal composition of a visionary and visual propaganda. The graphic material of the essay summarizes visual stories of social actions that have found expression in the fight against national control policies, in the liberation movements and in campaigns on respect for human rights during the reconstruction phases of socialist societies like the Soviet Union, China, Cuba, or at the dawn of the Italian-German dictatorial regimes and in the countries occupied militarily by the Nazi-fascists, through propaganda posters and graphic units codified by symbols and constructs verbal-visual.

In 1920s and 1930s, Warsaw was becoming one of the hubs of propagation of the new architecture, thanks to the geographical contiguity with the Weimar Republic, which allowed the formation of young minds aimed at a blending of architecture, art and music. In this cultural context, a young Helena Niemirowska Syrkus supported the idea that urban planning and architecture, conceived as art forms, had to target at the definition of a language able of expressing the great revolutionary step achieved in the social, economic and political life of that time, through new configurations. According to Helena Niemirowska, who shared the avant-garde thesis, to become an artist the modern architect had to be the basic element of social organization, defining also modern architecture as a synthesis of all the arts creating a new space and aesthetic for the 'New Man'. Through the drawing you can investigate the meanders of architectural thinking of an elapsed time, so all graphic signs, recognized within this path of investigation, may be part of a corpus of rules, and codified data in the interpretation and reworking design process. The paper proposes a graphic re-reading of the 'House of Dr Nelken in Warsaw' that Helena Niemirowska designed in 1932. The building, on two levels, shows in its form a strict geometric layout and a three partedsubdivision plan in which she defines the functional inside layout both at the ground floor and at the first one. Even in the facades, in line with the geometric rigor inherited from the study of the pure form, conceived as a generator of architectural space, she combines Suprematism and Modern Movement, cultural influences revealed by surfaces, colours and volumes of seemingly static treatment as well as in her other projects.

Between 1931 and 1936, the Second Republic in Spain was proclaimed. A social and political model consolidated as one of the most prolific according the artistic point of view. The new democratic regime brought many basic rights for women as the chance to complete their university studies. An emblematic figure of the cultural and architectural revolution of Spain was Matilde Ucelay Maortua. The project here analyzed is the house of Vicente Sebastián Llegat in Pradolargo-Pozuelo de Alarcón, of 1968. Matilde Ucelay designed a building with two levels, a large garden, a swimming pool and the outside porch marking the environment of the L-structure of the house. The critical redrawing of the Ucelay's project highlights her way of conceiving architecture with organic shapes and fluid spaces open to new artistic frontiers.

The proposed research examines how EU policy is facilitating the construction of smart cities that are confronted with a cultural heritage to be protected, as is already happening in some urban realities of the Euro-Mediterranean band. We will proceed by making comparisons between the strategies adopted, through the identification of the most common civic practices and of the virtual infrastructure used. This article will bring to light how the virtual city descends into the historic one, how these two realities complement each other and when the virtual city makes use of that historical and material one.

Nel contesto della cultura urbana contemporanea vi sono alcuni fattori che diventano sempre più caratterizzanti la condizione sociale sia generale sia relativa ad ambiti specifici, quale può essere quello sanitario. L'articolo approfondisce l'azione di alcune politiche europee relative alla prevenzione, alla promozione sanitaria e alle cure integrate per le persone anziane affette da demenza senile, mostrando particolare interesse verso le metodologie smart proposte dai nuovi modelli di rigenerazione urbana sostenibile, attraverso l'implementazione di ICTs, dalla scala urbana a quella dell'edificio domotico.
