Poprzez zastosowanie wybranych metod i technik badawczych charakterystycznych dla badań politologicznych, Autor prezentowanego artykułu wskazuje na konkretne rozwiązania ograniczające groźbę pojawiania się kolejnych fal kryzysów ekonomicznych, żywnościowych, energetycznych i uchodźczych, oraz powrotu do Zimnej Wojny w swej nowej odsłonie, czyli narastającej geoekonomicznej rywalizacji konfrontacji amerykańsko – chińskiej i ich głównych sojuszników. Wojna w Ukrainie stanowi przedmiot wielu analiz i komentarzy, najczęściej skupiających się na jej militarnym i geopolitycznym wymiarze. W mniejszym stopniu uwagę przykuwa jej kontekst ekonomiczny, społeczny i finansowy. Prezentowany artykuł stanowi część rozważań autorskich poświęconych przyczynom i skutkom wojny w odniesieniu do ww. aspektów i wymiaru regionalnego, a konkretnie państw bezpośrednio w niej uczestniczących: Ukrainy i Federacji Rosyjskiej. Uzasadnienie wyboru ww. państw wydaje się być logiczne i wynika z potrzeby skupienia się na głównych aktorach działań wojennych, w których konkretna rzeczywistość ekonomiczna spowodowana wojną może wymuszać zmiany społeczne i polityczne, skutkujące przerwaniem lub nasileniem działań na froncie. Takie ujęcie problemu wnosi w opinii autora wartość dodaną dla podjętej problematyki. Celem badawczym prezentowanej analizy jest wskazanie konkretnych skutków makroekonomicznych i społecznych wojny w wymienionych gospodarkach i społeczeństwach, z próbą udzielenia odpowiedzi na kluczowe pytania: która z analizowanych gospodarek i dlaczego ucierpiała w wyniku wojny i jej konsekwencji najbardziej? oraz jakie są przejawy kryzysu wywołanego wojną oraz dalsze perspektywy rozwoju sytuacji społecznej i ekonomicznej w analizowanych państwach? Przy tworzeniu konkluzji i rekomendacji zawartych w zakończeniu, korzystano z metody eksploracyjnej, łączącej w sobie wnioskowanie prognostyczne z badaniami teraźniejszości.

In the presented article, the author develops an analysis, assessment and forecast with regard to the problems of the innovative development of the PRC and the European Union's response to Chinese methods of obtaining technological advantage over other countries in the world. While presenting and assessing the implementation of China's key strategic documents in this matter, the author juxtaposes the EU response with the policy of trade sanctions against the PRC imposed by the United States during the presidency of D. Trump, outlining likely scenarios for the future.

The Common Agricultural Policy of the European Union plays a particular role in the process of European integration and the implementation of numerous community goals that go beyond the traditional functions of agriculture, associated with the production of food, and concern the multifunctional development of rural territories. The CAP played the main role in enlarging the EU, by incorporating the twelve new states from Central and Eastern Europe by means of ensuring their smooth integration into the common market and facilitating the accelerated adaptation, modernization and restructurization of the agricultural and food sectors, as well as the non-agricultural fields of the socio-economic and cultural activation of rural populations. The EU's agricultural and rural policy continues to undergo evolutionary transformation, and its shape in the new 2014–202 financial perspective is of vital and justified interest for Poland. The paper presents the latest proposals of the European Commission in this respect, presented on October 12, 2011, the Polish official negotiating position and the author's assessments, opinions and predictions.

In 2009 the European Union, and in particular the euro zone, slid into a stage of economic recession, on account of the spreading global financial crisis, referred to as '2008+.' Considerable developmental problems are being experienced by the group of countries referred to as PIIGS, particularly by Greece. Due to the tight developmental interdependencies in the European common market, the bankruptcy of Greece could cause a domino effect, i.e. the collapse of other Mediterranean economies, such as Spain or Italy, financial difficulties for Germany and France, and consequently a threat to integration processes throughout Europe. This paper is the first part of the analysis of this issue, where the author analyzes both the causes and effects of the present financial crisis in the euro zone, the first correctional activities undertaken by the EU institutions, and further developmental prospects of the European Union by 2020

Nagłaśniane od ponad trzech dekad sukcesy gospodarcze ChRL spowodowały, że w ostatnich latach znaczenia nabrała debata nie tylko na temat specyficznych cech, ale i potencjalnej uniwersalności tzw. chińskiego modelu rozwoju, zwanego najczęściej Konsensusem Pekińskim lub autorytarnym modelem kapitalizmu państwowego (state capitalism). Model ten ostatnimi laty stał się bardzo atrakcyjny dla wielu rządów, głównie słabiej rozwiniętych państw w świecie. Szczególnie widoczne jest to w Afryce, Ameryce Łacińskiej i Azji Centralnej, gdzie wyjątkowo aktywne są chińskie przedsiębiorstwa i politycy. Trwający od 2008 r. globalny kryzys finansowy i ekonomiczny w wielu regionach świata podważył zaufanie do anglosaskiego modelu gospodarki wolnorynkowej i towarzyszącej mu ideologii neoliberalnej. Szybkość, z jaką Chiny przeszły ze statusu biednego kraju rolniczego do globalnej potęgi gospodarczej, budzi podziw w wielu społeczeństwach. Także w Unii Europejskiej trwa debata na temat kształtowania prawidłowych relacji handlowo-inwestycyjnych z Chinami i oceny chińskiej formuły rozwojowej. Dyskusja dotyczy korzyści i kosztów społeczno ekonomicznych chińskiej formuły rozwojowej oraz jej adaptowalności. Zauważalnej intensyfikacji uległa ona w kontekście realizacji i popularyzacji chińskiej koncepcji połączenia Azji z Europą, czyli projektu Pasa i Drogi (One Belt One Road). Autor bestsellerowej pracy naukowej Kapitał w XXI wieku Thomas Piketty, profesor Columbia University i doradca sekretarza generalnego ONZ Jeffrey Sachs, profesor Princeton University i laureat Nagrody Nobla Angus Denton oraz wielu innych cenionych autorytetów naukowych wezwali do wprowadzenia większej przejrzystości w globalnym systemie podatkowym i wprowadzenia regula cji ograniczających funkcjonowanie tzw. OFC. Także organizacja pozarządowa Oxfam International, która koordynowała stworzenie listu, wezwała światowych liderów do ustalenia wspólnego stanowiska w sprawie ukrócenia tajemnicy związanej z funkcjonowaniem spółek w rajach podatkowych, ujawniając szkody, jakie one przynoszą.
