Abstract. The article provides a retrospective analysis of the significance of two initiatives - One Belt, One Road (PRC) and the Greater Eurasian Partnership (Russian Federation). The points of correspondence and conjugation of these two are considered. Ways of combining the two key initiatives are discussed concerning the reinforcement of international cooperation and regional integration. The options of the current international situation are considered. The coronavirus epidemic is continuing to circulate all over the world and its impact changes economy. Global trade protectionism exacerbates the evolution of the global political framework. Today, the signing of the Comprehensive Regional Economic Partnership (CEP) Agreement and the return of the Indo-Pacific Strategy to the Asia-Pacific region has accelerated the process of regional integration in Asia. In the new international setup, One Belt, One Road and the Greater Eurasian Partnership - the geostrategic concepts of China and Russia, respectively, have many intersection points in political, economic, humanitarian and other aspects. The combination of these two strategies will become one of the important areas of political and economic activity of the two nations, within the framework of the "comprehensive partnership and strategic interaction between China and Russia entering a new era", especially. China and Russia have a common task - to implement the conjugation of the two initiatives, to fully utilize their strategic attributes and pragmatic cooperation in the global-regional game, as well as promote the development of cooperation, getting maximum benefits and creating a win-win situation.

AbstractPopulation mobility has become an inevitable trend of social transformation in contemporary China. Parental migration has changed family structure patterns and brought great uncertainty to the psychological well‐being of left‐behind children. By comparing left‐behind children to children of non‐migrants, this study examines the impact of parental migration on children's psychological well‐being and the potential support of schools for children's resilience development along three dimensions: children's school belonging, teacher–student relationships and peer support. Using a mixed‐method approach, this study draws on an original survey of children (N = 605) and in‐depth interviews with children, parents, grandparents, and teachers (N = 41) in Hunchun City, Northeast China. Overall, maternal migration has a negative impact on children's psychological well‐being. In addition to teacher–student relationships, school belonging and peer support significantly mitigate this negative impact; qualitative data further suggest that peer support distracts from, rather than offsets, children's poor psychological well‐being associated with maternal migration.

By originally integrating the structural decomposition analysis (SDA) into a computable general equilibrium (CGE) model, this paper simulates and analyzes the impact and mechanism of energy taxes on carbon emissions. Changes in carbon dioxide emissions, energy consumption structure, and other macroeconomic variables are investigated under different pre-set scenarios. The conclusion shows that the imposition of an ad valorem energy tax will indeed impact the production and consumption of enterprises. A higher tax rate leads to more pronounced reductions in carbon dioxide emissions. The carbon intensity effect is the dominant factor driving national carbon emissions and carbon emission intensity decline. Although the production structure effect and final demand effect play a role, their influences are relatively weak. While levying energy taxes, subsidies for personal income tax or corporate production tax can achieve double dividends. The progress of energy utilization technology is capable of increasing unit energy output and easing the negative impact of energy tax collection, and the gross national product may rise rather than fall. Under this circumstance, the production structure effect will play a greater role because the total demand coefficients of various industries for energy industry products will further decline. Only by levying energy taxes on coal and oil, exempting energy taxes on natural gas, or using energy tax revenue to subsidize investment in the natural gas industry can the government optimize the energy consumption structure. Subsidies will boost final demand for the natural gas mining and processing industry and increase the consumption share of natural gas, a cleaner energy source than coal and oil, which is critical in the current energy transition process.

Ti-Al alloys have excellent high-temperature performance and are often used in the manufacture of high-pressure compressors and low-pressure turbine blades for military aircraft engines. However, solute segregation is easy to occur in the solidification process of Ti-Al alloys, which will affect their properties. In this study, we used the quantitative phase-field model developed by Karma to study the equiaxed dendrite growth of Ti-4.5% Al alloy. The effects of supersaturation, undercooling and thermal disturbance on the dendrite morphology and solute segregation were studied. The results showed that the increase of supersaturation and undercooling will promote the growth of secondary dendrite arms and aggravate the solute segregation. When the undercooling is large, the solute in the root of the primary dendrite arms is seriously enriched, and when the supersaturation is large, the time for the dendrite tips to reach a steady-state will be shortened. The thermal disturbance mainly affects the morphology and distribution of the secondary dendrite arms but has almost no effect on the steady-state of the primary dendrite tips. This is helpful to understand the cause of solute segregation in Ti-Al alloy theoretically.
