Die Autoren halten eine hinreichende Getreideproduktion zur Ernährungssicherung in Bangladesh für möglich. Die jetzige Produktionsplanung orientiere sich aber an einer zu engen Zielplanung (Katastrophenverhinderung) und gehe z.T. von falschen Daten aus.
