As an active microwave sensor, synthetic aperture radar (SAR) has the characteristic of all-day and all-weather earth observation, which has become one of the most important means for high-resolution earth observation and global resource management. Ship detection in SAR images is also playing an increasingly important role in ocean observation and disaster relief. Nowadays, both traditional feature extraction methods and deep learning (DL) methods almost focus on improving ship detection accuracy, and the detection speed is neglected. However, the speed of SAR ship detection is extraordinarily significant, especially in real-time maritime rescue and emergency military decision-making. In order to solve this problem, this paper proposes a novel approach for high-speed ship detection in SAR images based on a grid convolutional neural network (G-CNN). This method improves the detection speed by meshing the input image, inspired by the basic thought of you only look once (YOLO), and using depthwise separable convolution. G-CNN is a brand new network structure proposed by us and it is mainly composed of a backbone convolutional neural network (B-CNN) and a detection convolutional neural network (D-CNN). First, SAR images to be detected are divided into grid cells and each grid cell is responsible for detection of specific ships. Then, the whole image is input into B-CNN to extract features. Finally, ship detection is completed in D-CNN under three scales. We experimented on an open SAR Ship Detection Dataset (SSDD) used by many other scholars and then validated the migration ability of G-CNN on two SAR images from RadarSat-1 and Gaofen-3. The experimental results show that the detection speed of our proposed method is faster than the existing other methods, such as faster-regions convolutional neural network (Faster R-CNN), single shot multi-box detector (SSD), and YOLO, under the same hardware environment with NVIDIA GTX1080 graphics processing unit (GPU) and the detection accuracy is kept within an acceptable range. Our proposed G-CNN ship detection system has great application values in real-time maritime disaster rescue and emergency military strategy formulation.

China has made great achievements in education since the start of its reform and opening up policy. The exploration of China's education reform has never stopped while facing the challenges of educational development in the new era. When it comes to education, the report of the 19th CPC National Congress proposed to "implement the fundamental task of Moral educationˮ and "make more contributions to nurturing socialist builders and successors with all-round development in morality, intelligence, physique, aesthetic and hard-working spirit. In the past few years, moral education was placed on the same important position as professional education and actively carried out in all levels of educational institutions such as primary and high schools, colleges and universities. Taking the general course "Introduction to Chinese Tea Cultureˮ offered by Chinese university as an example, this paper tries to discuss the teaching practice and reflection of "moral educationˮ in liberal studies. Focusing on the teaching implementation process of "Introduction to Chinese Tea Cultureˮ, the paper analyzes the development and the potential value of moral education, and the value of traditional Chinese culture to guiding the moral education in Chinese universities from the perspective of "cultural confidenceˮ. This paper analyzes the development of moral education teaching and the exploration of moral education potential in the implementation process of "Introduction to Chinese tea cultureˮ, aiming to analyze the value of Chinese excellent traditional culture in guiding moral education in Chinese Colleges and universities from the perspective of "cultural confidenceˮ. As a general course of liberal studies opened in Chinese universities in recent years, "Introduction to Chinese Tea Culture" contains great potential for moral education, which benefits from the rich cultural connotation, philosophical thought and humanistic spirit in Chinese traditional tea culture itself. It is necessary to dig deep into the spiritual connotation of Chinese tea culture to maximize the moral education role of this course.

PurposeThis study aimed to verify the impact of consumers' self-congruity on brand loyalty behavior when stock-out happens; the role of the psychological reactance theory as a mediator was assessed.Design/methodology/approachData collection was carried out in the form of a questionnaire survey. Data from 417 respondents were analyzed, and structural equation modeling was applied to test the hypotheses.FindingsThe findings revealed the positive significant impact of consumers' self-congruity on their brand loyalty behavior, and the mediating effect of psychological reactance between self-congruity and consumers' brand loyalty behavior.Practical implicationsThis study offers retailers/brand owners a deeper understanding of the remedy strategy needed to reduce the sales loss in their firms when stock-out happens.Originality/valueThis study provides a theoretical and empirical test on the influence of consumers' self-congruity on their brand loyalty behavior, bringing consumers' psychological reactance into the research as a mediating factor, thereby enriching the existing research on consumers' out-of-stock reactions.

The purpose of this article is to introduce a new holiday — the International Tea Day, as well as analyze its importance and implications for the development of the global tea industry. Moreover, the author explains the significance of the International Tea Day creation from the angle of economics, ecology, social culture, politics and diplomacy. The author believes that in the future, under the influence of the International Tea Day, the world tea culture and industry will reach a new level of development, and tea cultures of various countries and nationalities will show their full power.

This paper argues that negotiation and accommodation between the state and the media, with the latter having gained more bargaining power, should be considered in assessing the transformation of the Chinese media. It examines the discourses of media professionals on the coverage of the 2008 Sichuan Earthquake to reveal how they seized the opportunity presented by the well-received breakthrough in the coverage of the earthquake to bargain with the state for more autonomy. The purpose of the examination is three-fold. First, what drove the Chinese state media such as CCTV to risk breaking regulations? Secondly, how did the Central Government respond to the media-led breakthrough? China's state-centred model has demonstrated many advantages: Chinese state media at all levels can be centrally coordinated and managed to work together for the expansion of activities abroad. This article explores a hitherto neglected aspect of the contemporary Chinese communication network: media outlets at the county level, the lowest level of the media hierarchy in China. It considers whether county level media outlets constitute more autonomy from the state and thus serve as more effective channels for participation and representation. The findings suggest that although official media outlets at the county level enjoy a relatively more relaxed political environment, their institutional and structural nature, combined with the reporting systemfrom the Mao era and the strong local social network powerfully inhibit them from developing into an arena for critical debate.
