The purpose of this study is to know the teaching and learning activity in implementing the 2013 curriculum. This research is based on a preliminary study of the implementation of the 2013 curriculum in some junior high schools around Pekanbaru by observing and interviewing English teachers. This research is qualitative. Researcher use observation sheet and interview to know the learning activities in SMP Negeri 23 Pekanbaru. Based on the research findings, first, the stage of teaching and learning process in the classroom, the teacher has not been able to carry out the ideal teaching step; second, professionally, the curriculum implementer has not received training from the government to support the teaching and learning process in the classroom and the last available resources and media Not yet supported. By doing this research, researchers hope that the government does the right training for all English teachers in applying the 2013 curriculum.

The aim of the research was to find out teaching and learning activities at SMA Negeri 12 in implementing 2013 curriculum. The design of this Research was qualitative.The researcher used observation sheet and interview to find out the activities in SMA Negeri 12. Based on the research findings, first, the stage of teaching and learning process in the classroom, the teacher could not implement the step ideally, second, the professional curriculum from the government did not provide the available training to support teaching and learning in the classroom and the last the availability of resources and media were not supported yet. By conducting this research, the researcher hoped that the government conducting the appropriate training to all English teachers in implementing 2013 curriculum.

World Bank declared that the quality of education in Indonesia currently is relatively minimum, although the expansion of educational access for community has significantly increased. One of the reasons is the uneven access to education or, in other words, there are still inequalities. The Johannesburg World Summit's role in 2002 on sustainability development in promoting Education and Sustainable Development (ESD) was very important to develop as a key concept in its implementation plan. This study was carried out through literature review and interviews with related parties. The study concludes that education is often explained as a big expectation to create a more sustainable future, and institutions of teacher training are considered as main agents of change in transforming education as well as its society. It is necessary to note that the content of sustainable development is not the focus here, but how sustainable development is supported and promoted in culture and society through education supported by government and related parties. Quality education for sustainable development contains key issues about sustainability development into teaching and learning which include knowledge, systems of thought, emotions, ethics and values and actions. From these five domains, we can develop how quality education for sustainable development is applied in Indonesia.

This study would like to reveal the magnitude of the role of parents, especiallymothers in educating children and this should be one of the important considerationsin fostering a bright future family. But what happens is just the opposite, where withthe growing number of children, the easier it is for parents to hand over theireducation and care to other parties or people, including formal education institutions.This study uses qualitative methods through related literature review. The results ofthis study revealed the importance of the government playing a role in educationthrough special attention to the existence of formal and non-formal educationinstitutions. In addition, government care is also important in improving the quality ofeducation for mothers as informal education providers for children. Though as amother who has a big role in parenting and children's education plays a veryimportant role so that the influence of the planting of children's intelligence should berealized by the mother. In order to be able to compete with other countries in thefuture, then a great attention to efforts to empower children needs to be improved.The government through institutions such as the Minister of National Education, theMinister of Women Empowerment, Minister of Health, BKKBN and others canbecome pioneers through related policies. Of course the Government must strive sothat the interest is accompanied by providing sufficient knowledge to the mothers. Designing of Indie Cinema Centre in Bandung based on rapid development of indie film, the efforts from government in increase creative space for community and also Bandung has potential from elected in pilot poject of Asia Creative Cities. The purpose of this designing is to design coordinating institution for indie community so they can appreciate their works to the mass. This day. indie film community still use public area which not special designed for them. The main problem of this design is how to design Indie Cinema Centre by applying Sustainable Architecture in building. Sustainable Architecture applied in building, such as façade building, material and building utility. Beside applying Sustainable Architecture, this design also uses film characteristic, such one way communication and expression freedom. The result of this design from applying Sustainable Architecture and film characteristic is to obtain building shape which is take advantage of natural resources, using exterior and interior from merger of Sustainable Architecture and film characteristic, use fine material which not give negative effect for environment and applying Sustainable Architecture for water utility, electricity power and artificial air.
