AbstractThere are parallels between the post-Marxist traditions ofoperaismo(workerism) and autonomism and emerging ideas about the 'postdigital'.Operaistanalyses and approaches, and particularly the work of Romano Alquati on co-research, have the potential to contribute to discourses as to what might be involved in postdigital inquiry in educational settings, and to better understand of critical data literacies. For such educational inquiry to evolve into a comprehensive strategy of 'co-research', it is argued that what is needed are models of teacher inquiry with the potential to challenge dominant rhetorics, to support emancipatory research and development, and to establish the postdigital as a counter-hegemonic educational programme.
The struggle against censorship was one of the priorities of the Partido Liberal Autonomista, founded in Havana in 1878. However, from the definitive abolition of slavery in 1886, the autonomists sought to create mechanisms set aside to better control the "subordinate" classes of society (such as black people, workers, women, youth, etc.). The method they employed consisted of opening up the institutions that they controlled with the objective of indoctrinating autonomist' ideology and preventing the dissemination of independent ideas. By underestimating the capacity of subordinate groups to create their own political expressions, autonomists added extra coercion on them, forbidding a possible cooperation on the construction of a post-slavery, and eventually post-colonial society in Cuba.

International audience ; In 1919-1920 social unrest in Sardinia took place in a political context marked by the hegemony of WWI veterans movement, which had a mass affirmation in rural areas and became the Sardinian Action Party in 1921. On the other hand, the influence of Sardinian Socialists was limited to the mining and industrial districts of the island, Iglesiente and Gallura. On the island, Trade Unions were more relevant than the party, and this helped Sardinian socialism to remain Reformist. Historians have paid particular attention to the formation of Sardinian autonomism, the birth of Fascism and the relations between the two movements, while the analysis of the Red Biennium and the relations between the workers' movement and the emerging Sardinian autonomism remained less explored. This article aims to analyze such a relationship to explain both the lack of effectiveness of Socialist propaganda in Sardinian rural areas and the failure of WWI veterans in mobilizing urban working classes. In the Sardinian context, the combatants represented the first political force able of mobilizing rural masses, with the aim of transforming the island-continent relationship. An argument that, in a context characterized by insularity and a limited diffusion of the labor movement, proved to be more attractive than class struggle. Spanish model separatism linked to economic reasons financial origin. Catalonia was one of the first Spanish provinces, where industrialization was carried out and developed industrial enterprise. The purpose of industrial development was the creation of mechanisms of centralization, but eventually it went wrong. Now it is the most developed region of the kingdom, who believes the rest of the Spanish territories economically unprofitable. Significant gains region also receives travel through communications. A large number of factors also applies to ethnic and cultural identity, which is positioned on the basis of general denial of the Spanish box art and culture in general. Italian model separatism associated with five provinces with special status, only two of which are entitled to outside of official communication and correspondence using local dialect (Tuscany and Calabria).Overall separatism is caused by the resolution of the country into two major sectors of the diverse stratification systems: industrial north of developed middle class and peasant populations south of the farm and mafia groups that represent social vestige of the feudal era. Due to this local patriotism in Italy still prevails over national patriotism, and separatist movements get their makeup including outside (France, Austria, the EU as a whole). Is made evident opposition of small regional communities (towns, villages), the constant confrontation between which casts doubt preserve Italy as a coherent state. Factor separatism is also the practical isolation of the Roman bureaucracy of regional interests and mafia infiltration grouped through the lobby of the structure of the central government.
This paper traces the roots of precarity as a concept emerging from French sociological discourse, then permeating through networks informed by Italian autonomism, before re-emerging in the writings of figures such as Guy Standing and Arne Kalleberg. It is shown that, despite the claims of the literature, precarity in employment is not typical in the United Kingdom. Here, temporary employment remains the exception and employment tenure remains stable. This can best be explained by radical political economy. Capital is not interested simply in engendering precarity; it is also concerned with the retention and reproduction of labor power, leading to contradictory imperatives. The resonance of the narrative of precarity, in spite of this, reflects a long retreat from class within radical theory and the insecurities present in working life.
; The Soviet national policy induced the development of contradictory tendencies in interethnic relations in the USSR. Real internationalism in national policy facilitated the solution of national problems and consolidation of Soviet people on the principles of confidence and soli-darism. This unity vividly manifested itself during the Great Patriotic War. At the same time local forms of historical-cultural and political identities were gradually being established in Union Republics. Ethnic elites were coming to power. They had been submitting to the will of the Union authorities until the fundamentals of authentic Lenin's national policy, presupposing the inviolability of frontiers and state-forminf status of the titular nations, were affected. In that period the local community of Kazakhstani citizens was taking shape, the core of which was formed by the local Russians and Kazakhs. The relationships between the largest ethnic groups were to a considerable degree those of partnership and solidarism. The model of power peculiar to Kazakhstan in that period was that of ethnic collaboration in promoting candidates to bodies of government, whereas in other Central Asian Republics non-title groups were virtually "squeezed out" from the highest governing bodies. The collaboration model of ethnic representation in the highest governing bodies existed till the collapse of the USSR. It could most likely be caused by the predominance of Russian population in the industrial sector of economy. The problems of interethnic relations were connected with German and Uyghur national movements. Unfair practices of ethnic preferences in access to higher education, personnel selection and language policy of Union and Republic's authorities affected the Germans and the Uyghurs most painfully. The Germans and the Uyghurs considered the option of establishing national-territorial autonomies regarding it as a possibility to block the threat of assimilation and to provide the survival of their ethnic groups. In Kazakhstan the project of autonomisation heightened the conflict potential between Kazakhs and ethnic minorities, Muslim nations in the first place: the Uyghurs and the Uzbeks, whose representatives declared themselves autochthonous. The German movement hoped to revive the German Autonomy on the Volga and, therefore, did not strive for confrontation with Kazakh population. The USSR State Security Committee was the initiator of the German Autonomy establishment in Kazakhstan. Autonomist projects were broken up by the resistance of Kazakh population and the middle management of party careerists. The frustration of the Union Authorities' plans demonstrated the potential power of ethnic mobilizations aimed at the protection of the Republic's territorial integrity and showed the limits of "possible" in national policy. It became apparent that the possibilities of de-ethnization of the USSR state system had been exhausted by the early 1980s and political leaders of the country had to put up with the existence of "standard ethnic nationalism" in the Soviet and Autonomous Republics.
The Italian theorist Franco "Bifo" Berardi has spent a lifetime participating in revolutionary movements and thinking through their complexities. He is best known in the English-speaking world for his association with the Italian autonomist movement Operaismo ("workerism") and its prominent attempts to transform communist politics by resituating the "needs, desires, and organizational autonomies" of workers at the foundation of political praxis (Genosko and Thoburn 2011: 3). This text assembles excerpts from three interviews we conducted with Berardi over the course of the insurrectionary year 2011. Each of our conversations coincided with notable developments in last year's mobilizations and our interviewee's enthusiasm about those events is evident at certain points in the transcript. Yet while Berardi is generally optimistic about the revolts and the "reactivation of the social body" that they seem to imply, he reminds us that protest alone will not be enough to win the genuine kinds of autonomy that he suggests are necessary. He argues that dogmas of growth, competition and rent have so colonized every sphere of "human knowledge" that they have begun to threaten the very survival of what he calls "social civilization." The hegemonic grip of this "epistemological dictatorship" has altered our capacity to feel empathy towards one another, severing fundamental bonds of inter-personal connection. Yet in spite of this dark diagnosis, Berardi is not a doomsayer and he always leaves open the possibility of transformation and escape. He counsels that our best shot at deliverance lies in the development of new strategies of withdrawal, refusal, sabotage, and the negotiation of new "lines of flight" from the late-capitalist forms of domination.
The essay discusses the tactics of the Italian Autonomia movement during the 1960s and 1970s as a form of realized utopia. The Autonomists rejected the reformism of the Left political parties and unions in the name of the refusal of work—work as it had been structured by capital—in order to reappropriate time to experiment with new forms of everyday existence. Women could not do the same. Therefore, when studied together with Autonomist feminism of the time, male Autonomism loses some of its radical edge. The women's demand for wages for housework makes clear that the idea of utopia that male autonomists pursued could not be experienced in the same way by women, who continue to bear the burden of reproductive labor in the home, and whose autonomy is limited by the demands of patriarchal society.
rubrika: Studie ; This article examines the relationship between the political theories of Central European dissidentsand the social practice of "tramping," a back-to-nature movement that was associated with oppositionalpolitics and "anti-politics" in Czechoslovakia from the end of World War I until 1989. The articlereflects on the potential political significance of the tramping movement's ideal of uncivilizedsociety as an alternative to the dissidents' concept of "civil society," which began as a call for "antipolitical"transformation, and yet after 1989 became an ideological justification for explicitly elitistmodes of liberal-conservative governance. The concept of "uncivilized society," which can be drawnfrom the discourse of tramping, has parallels in contemporary autonomist calls for tactical retreatsfrom oppressive modernity. The article concludes that the tramping movement's emphasis on internalorganization best distinguishes the movement both from East-Central European dissent before1989 and from autonomism today
