"Common places" extracted from the Bible in Literature have been used por centuries. This work reviwes how legends and passages fron the holy book of Christianity wre used in lurical and political productios to persuade public opinion about the events of the Mexican Revolution of 1910 and even after the assassination of the President Francisco I. Madero, in 1913, to denounce the Army's betrayal.
The present job seeks to analyse the various functions of dream in Calderón's order: Dreams are true (1670), based on various episodes of José's history, referred to in the Génesis. Starting from the structuring role of dream in the Bible narratives, I look at the dramatic functioning of the plea in the order, in the sacramental context of a twofold history and argument. Starting by highlighting the structure of the work on the basis of its metric organisation, I will then analyse the different dramatic units of the order, and in them, the onitric process itself, trying to show how they are articulated around a sleep/sleep interpretation/interpreter's award scheme, which reports on the different sequences of dramatic development. The progression — both political and family — of José's character as an interpreter of his own and external dreams, and the multiplicity of reading levels involved in the specific functioning of the dream, are then overestimated: not only is it the dramatic progression of the various sequences, but also a delayed overall reinterpretation of the order, at another level of argument, Eucarística. On that basis, I propose an interpretation of the title of the order, and therefore of its general meaning, which is quite distant from the usual platform readings. ; International audience SUMMARY: This study seeks to analyze the different functions of dream in the auto of Calderón, Sueños hay que verdad son (1670), which is based on some episodes from Josef's life in Genesis. Beginning with the structuring function of dream, in Bible stories, I study the dramatic function of this motif in this auto, within the sacramental frame of a double reading: historial and allegorical. After first establishing the structure of the work based on its metrical organization, I go on to analyse the different dramatic units of the auto, and the dream process within each one of them. My purpose is to show how each unit is organized according to a sequence beginning with dream and leading through narration of the ...
; This work seeks to bring to light the notion of religion that under-pins Spinoza's work in order to determine its role within society and its connec-tions to the State. To do so, the Treatise on Theology and Politics is analyzed in depth, from the historical analysis of the Bible to the interpretation of the relationship between State and religion; other texts, mainly Ethics, are used to support this analysis.

; [eng] This thesis seeks to understand the paths of lived experience of four Chilean artists-teachers. It is reported that research is to make the study an experience of relationship and since the links formed, an opportunity to learn about the knowledge of the pedagogical experience. This is an investigation that not only puts at the center the question of teacher´s knowledge, also the place of the researcher and the meaning to research in relation. The question that guided this study was how a group of teachers of Chilean arts has been conforming and relating to their teachers knowledge as a displacement of experiences along their personal history, professional and from their senses as women and their artistic practices. This complex of questions was developed through the narrative methodology and different techniques for collecting evidence. The first part of this research was carried out through mujeresartistasdocentes.org virtual platform, where a group of women Chilean teachers were invited to narrate and share different experiences. Then, the second stage of collecting evidence was a face act. Six face interviews were conducted with the same group of participants and two focus group with this group of teachers. In addition, I attended for a period to their teaching practices. Although, some tools of the second generation of Grounded Theory were used for analysis, the narrative perspective was the thread that allowed relate and visualize their stories as forms of subjectivity. Using some tolos of Grounded Theory helped to arrange the evidence and build four categories that allowed generate understandings on their ways to conform their teaching knowledge. These were the place of conflict, the others, the not knowing and the agencies in the teacher's knowledge of these women. The final work of this research revealed through subjective biographical narratives. The construction of these involved crossing the categories of analysis with different tools and narrative techniques, seeking new ways to show knowledge of these women teachers and giving priority to writing that put emphasis on looking, listening, the body and poetics. The final learnings from this study led me to link the teacher knowledge with the idea of nomadism and subjectivity, precisely to express that knowledge of women artists-teachers is not fixed nor unitary. Rather, it moves like torsions, becomings and cuts between their diverse experiences, transforming their practices into subjective and political knowledges.
; The Misal Rico (1504-1517) and the Biblia Políglota (1514-1517), although of different sind and authorship, are both associated to Cardinal Cisneros. These works are probably the most ambicious book projects of the sixteenth century -the missal is without doubt the master piece of the Renaissance Hispanic Miniature-. The exceptional sequence of these two books weave an imbricated net in which religious, artistic, political and ideological strategies cross, shaping a complex chane of pauses and advancements.
The article is based on an insight coming from recent approaches -external to bible studies- to the social fabric of truncated histories all around the world. When applied to the reading of the end of a historical process recounted in the Deuteronomistic history, it leads to an interpretation of the history of nations, which is distinguished by the history of their institutions. In the Bible, such decline might be seen in some key passages at the end of the aforementioned corpus. Cross-cutting, the research is a hermeneutical-existential approach. The proposal in both approaches, secular and biblical, is the renewal of institutions from the standpoint of new axiological coordinates. Bearing this in mind, the proposal is presented in three parts along with some conclusions. It places emphasis on the possibility of reading biblical texts through comparative political coordinates. Diego León de Villafañe (1741-1830) was the only non-secularized Jesuit who returned to the lands of the Viceroyalty of Rio de la Plata after the decrees of Godoy of 1797 and 1798. After his return he settled in the city of Tucumán where he was born; from there he stablished -throughout the thirty years between his return from exile and his death- numerous relations with members of the political, economic and religious elites of the region. However, this figure has been mostly negleted by the argentinian historiography. The objective of this work is to present a brief manuscript work -one of the few that remain of its authorship- written by Diego León de Villafañe preserved in the Archivo General de la Nación of Argentina on the problematic of the translation of the Bible to the "vulgar" languages. In his work Villafañe criticizes the appearance of numerous translations of the Christian holy book into Castilian. We will try to insert this work not only within the general theological context of anti-Jansenistic thought in Europe, but also within the religious debates that took place in the Rio de la Plata between the end of the eighteenth century and the beginning of the nineteenth century.
The formation of the Modern State changed the values of the chivalrous class: the ethos of what incorporated a letrado dimension. Clergymen and letrados made access to the ancient texts easier for the laymen, guiding them in a moral direction. Alonso de Cartagena's translation of Seneca's De providentia is a significant evidence of this fact. His interpretation of Seneca's work shows the dependence of eloquence on moral values. The glosses confine the reading within a very strict orthodoxy. We can distinguish three types: 1) Those that give us information about historical and mythological characters. Their sources (Plato, Orosius, Valerius Maximus, Cícero, Ovidius, the Bible, the Romulion) show an extensive classical culture. Historical accuracy js less important than exemplary morality. A cautious suspicion of mythology is shown. 2) Those that discuss doctrinal facts: suicide and free will. This is a categorical declaration of orthodoxy which does not conceal certain tensions. 3) Those which refer to the problems of translation: they justify the given version. Sometimes the current period is mentioned. In this way, the gloss acquires a didactic value, and, by being addressed to the king, a political value also.
; Regularly, the passage of John 12, 8 is used to justify the presence of the poor in the social context, as if it were a necessary condition, as something inevitable, natural and divine. The Medellín Conference brought forward in the theological and pastoral discussion the reality of poverty as an antievangelical situation. The implications of this challenge marked the impulse to accompany the demands of the social subjects in their aspirations for the political changes in Latin America that would end the conditions of economic and social marginalization, thus expanding the spectrum of their commitment. Today we find a continent that continues to look for ways out of these structural and cultural conditions that do not allow for the much desired change, because we still "have" the poor in our midst, and some do not resign ourselves to accept it as a divine or historical design. It is necessary a rereading that brings us closer to the biblical text with different eyes to better understand the challenge of Jesus today. These are the concerns that we intend to discuss in this paper, fifty years after the Medellin call to listen to the cry of the poor.

The scope of stereotypes about women in the middle age is reviewed. The dominant culture is clergy and it is based on the Bible and the classical literature. During the Middle Ages, the main model of the women stereotype was the married woman dependent on her husband. Other alternative roles emerge: mystical woman, matron woman and sorceress woman. The triumph of the woman comes from politics and religion with queens and abbesses, through courtly love or some intellectual women.
