Establishing the links between politics, economy and civil society from Hobbes to Mandeville is in fact studying the individual and the differents changes he undergoes. This means, analyzing the individual in he undergoes social state along with his economic functions. According to Hobbes , in order to reach complete individualism we need to go through the process of loosing powers and natural faculties of the individual within the framework of civil state in which the particular good fits the community properties; individual goods are manifested within the concept of property. Contrary to Hobbes, Mandeville states that the harmony of interests is involuntary and objective. Results from the unique interlacing of our national acts, according to Hobbes it's the contract that determines the first features of the saving individual.

This article aims to renew the questioning of Egyptian civil society by proposing an approach that could question the paradoxes of the classic debate on this issue. This approach is based on the distinction between civil society as a series of actions for social and political players and civil society as a concept formulated by scientists. The text demonstrates that the renewal of the concept of civil society proposed by Jean Cohen and Andrew Arato can be useful to understand the process of empowerment of civil society in Egypt in recent years. The text focuses on the recovery of the historic itinerary of the notion of civil society in Egypt after the revolution of January 25, 2011, with the ongoing debate on the issue of 'civility' of the Egyptian state and its relationship with religion and the military institution. The last part of the article notes however that the distinction between the two forms of discourses on civil society is difficult to operate. The struggles around the definitions of civil society within the scientific community are of such intensity that they harm any minimal scientific consensus on this notion. To Israelis, Yair Lapid has long been known as his father's son. Tommy Lapid was a famous newspaper and TV journalist, the founder of a now-defunct secular political party, Shinoui (Hebrew for 'Change'), and Minister of Justice under Ariel Sharon. In short, Tommy Lapid was one of the leading lights of his generation. Yair, born in 1963, followed in the footsteps of his remarkable father, who died in 2008, by pursuing a career as a journalist before going into politics and setting up the centrist party Yesh Atid ('There is a future' in Hebrew ) in 2012. Like his father, Yair enjoyed rapid success, his party placing second in the January 2013 general election. He was immediately appointed Finance Minister, a key partner of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in the coalition government, and has already made his mark. In this exclusive interview, he describes his personal vision of Israel, and candidly admits to an ambition to lead the government within a few years. Adapted from the source document.

Through the intermediary of Albert Thomas, the General Director of the International Labour Office, the International Cooperative Alliance expressed the desire in 1919 to see the International Labour Organization include representatives of national cooperative organizations. The ILO was barely set up and tripartism celebrated as a major innovation when they were already challenged. This article analyzes the conditions under which the cooperative movement was evicted from the ILO, and the simultaneous claim of the international cooperative movement for a "direct and separate representation" within the ILO. It looks at the setting up of various mechanisms from 1919 until 1948 which resulted in the establishment of a consultative relationship between the cooperative movement and the ILO, before the creation and the granting of the actual consultative status to the international cooperative movement. Management of the mining sector in DRC today brings the logics of industrialization and artisanal mining into opposition. Public action within the country is largely powerless, sometimes even counter-productive. In a region so plagued by conflict, only action carried out by a determined civil society focused on increasing the capacity and autonomy of the various artisanal mining actors would allow the coexistence of these two approaches in favor of development. The Internet Governance debate opposes multilateral thinking, favoring the role of State and interstate bodies, with a multistakeholder model, which aims to unite all concerned actors: states, business, experts, academics and internet groups, among others. It is a debate on the nature of power, extending across multiple meetings and international summits. Civil society remains highly divided, however, and leads one to consider the notion of global governance of global Internet. Adapted from the source document.
