4. The friends of the couple Matthieu Loitron
Whereas most of the discourses focus on the deinstitutionnalisation of the couple, on the autonomy of the couple as regards the society, and the independence of the partners, the analysis of the sociability of young people living in couple offers a more paradoxical vision of these transformations. The strong process of the conjugality of sociability shifts from a certain number of traditional images about the autonomy of the couple. With the analysis of the separate spaces of sociability, how are the different networks worked out to constitute a new common and friendly horizon ? This paper aims to understand the role played by these links in the setting up and preservation of the conjugal ties.

Learning together History and Geography is not based on science. It is a french specific historical construction, the purposes of which are to be searched out of both subjects. Approaching their relation sets out doubtless the essential feature of the couple of History and Geography : to be a school subject.

Conjugal and parental roles : a comparative study of French and German laws
Through a comparative study of French and German legislations, we can assess the progressive evolution of the rights of men and women towards an egalitarian relationship, both with respect to their conjugal relationship and their parental role. The two legislations converge both at the time of the creation of the couple through marriage and at the time of its dissolution through divorce. This convergence may be seen in parental authority. In France, since the law of January 8, 1993 was passed, both parents are intrusted with parental authority thus permitting the parental couple to last longer than the conjugal couple. A similar reform is in progress in Germany. Certain difficulties, however, subsist as far as the pratical implementation of these legislations for mixed Franco-German couples is concerned.

The couple is one of the most significant categories of the way that mentalities, social behavior, patterns or practices of everyday life are being redefined in the post-communist period in Romania. Starting from a brief presentation of the state of knowledge about the couple in the Romanian secondary literature, the article focuses on a double deconstruction. First, the author shows that, nowadays, the couple is a discursive category, especially visible through the demographic, legal and also political discourse. Then, life couple is an object of study in the field of political sciences that can provide insights into the overall functioning of the social and political life in the present period of transition.
