Die Autorin hat in Kooperation mit dem Arbeitslosenverband Deutschland im Frühjahr 1991 eine Erhebung bei 229 arbeitslosen Frauen in Ost-Berlin durchgeführt, um näheren Aufschluß über ihre Lebenssituation zu erhalten. Als kritisch wird dabei besonders die Lage von Problemgruppen von Frauen angesehen, wie z.B. längere Zeit Arbeitslose, ältere Frauen, insbesondere akademisch qualifizierte Frauen. Es zeigt sich eine deutliche Angst vor Verarmung sowie eine hohe Akzeptanz ungeschützter Arbeitsverhältnisse, nur um aus der Situation der Arbeitslosigkeit zu entkommen. (pmb)
