Digitalisation offers a wide array of opportunities, but also challenges, for universities and business schools alike, regarding the provision and delivery of their teaching and learning activities. The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted some of these challenges, as it forced educational institutions to move their pedagogic activities online in line with new governmental regulations. In this article, we identify and discuss critically the following three interconnected challenges: (1) shifting from direct embodied co-presence to technologically mediated telepresence, (2) re-embodying teaching and learning activities and (3) rethinking the purpose and relevance of teachings in business schools. We explore these challenges through a phenomenological lens, informed by the Heideggerian concepts of enframing (Gestell) and releasement (Gelassenheit), with a focus on (re-)embodiment. Finally, we discuss the need, for teachers and learners, to be able to reflectively move between embodied and digital(ised) forms of learning and teaching and outline some implications and perspectives regarding the development of an integral pedagogy.
Der Autor unternimmt es, den späten, "den vielfach als kraus und unverständlich geltenden Heidegger mit dem Cassirerschen Begriff der symbolischen Form zu konfrontieren." Dies geschieht zum einen in der Absicht, um den späten Heidegger für die "rationale" Transzendentalphilosophie zu retten, zum anderen, um diese für eine unverstellte Phänomenologie des gegenwärtigen Zeitalters zu öffnen und ihr methodenskrupulöses Denkgebäude aufzubrechen. In einem ersten Schritt werden Heideggers Begriffe "Gestell" und "Geviert" unter der Optik "symbolischer Formen" betrachtet. Dabei wird deutlich, daß die Rückübersetzung von Gestell und Geviert in symbolische Formen eine transzendentalphilosophische Rekonstruktion Heideggers darstellt. In einem zweiten Schritt wird sodann Cassirers Symbolbegriff aus der Perspektive der Heideggerschen Begriffe "Seinsgeschichte" und "Ereignis" beleuchtet. Die Überlegungen führen nicht zu einer Heidegger-Cassirer-Synthese, sondern zu einer Phänomenologie der Differenz. "Indem Heidegger den Königsweg der gesicherten Vernunft verläßt, landet er zuweilen auf Holzwegen. Die Parallel-Lektüre mit Cassierer verdeutlicht jedoch die reflexive Unterlage der Heideggerschen Ontologie und zeigt, daß die 'Seinsgeschicke' weder Offenbarungen sind noch voluntaristische Konstruktionen, sondern kontingent-geschichtlich sich ereignende und verändernde Vermittlungen Mensch-Welt, eben - symbolische Formen." The recent managerial literature on the development of corporate infrastructures to deliver sophisticated and flexible IT capabilities is based on a set of assumptions concerning the role of management in strategy formulation, planning and control; the role of IT as a tool; the linkages between infrastructure and business processes; the implementation process. This paper deconstructs such assumptions by gradually enriching the conventional management agenda with new priorities stemming from other styles of taking care of infrastructures. The original, straightforward management agenda appears to be lacking: its foundations are irremediably shaken. The paper finally evokes a philosophy‐based agenda, the only one valuable in the uncharted territory where the usual foundations do not deliver any longer. Such an agenda speaks a language of weak agency: releasement; dwelling with mystery; capacity to drop the tools; valuing marginal practices. Will the last agenda play a key role in coping with the information infrastructures of the next millennium?

The aim of the present study is to analyze the political implications derived from Heidegger´s concept of Ereignis ("Enowning" or "event of appropriation"). With the concept of "private national socialism" as a guideline, we mean to show the way in which Heidegger deploys a concealed political project derived from his ontological theses (primarily in his courses and unpublished treatises of the thirties). A project that tends to the dissolution of the subject as protagonist of historical becoming and also to its substitution by the primacy of supra-individual powers which are external to subjectivity such as "popular community" or "homeland". ; El propósito del presente estudio es analizar las implicaciones políticas derivadas del concepto heideggeriano de Ereignis ("acontecimiento" o "evento apropiador"). Se trataría, tomando como hilo conductor el sentido de la expresión "nacionalsocialismo privado", de mostrar el modo en el que Heidegger despliega (fundamentalmente en sus cursos y tratados inéditos de los años treinta) un larvado proyecto político derivado de sus tesis ontológicas. Un proyecto tendente a la disolución del sujeto como protagonista del devenir histórico, así como a su sustitución por la primacía de poderes supraindividuales y externos a la subjetividad tales como la "comunidad popular" o la "tierra natal".
Context and relevance of the research: the task of developing a general theoretical basis and methodology of ontological problems of interaction and interrelation of the Internet space and the physical world comes forward with the formation of the virtual computer environment determined both by the presence of a human being in computer network and presence of computer network in the life world of the human being. Virtual reality, even in its current state, is already widely recognized and described in academic sources. There are prospects of its application in medicine, education, professional training, space, military, art, automotive industry, shipbuilding, trade, leisure, consulting assistance to population, administration, and other spheres of management. According to academic forecasts, intensive, large-scale, multidirectional development of virtual computer environment will continue in the 21st century. The purpose of the study is to carry out a systematic analysis of the concepts: existential space, instrumental space and cyberspace in their interrelationship and interaction; to propose the author's definition of existential space as a methodological construction for the study of its ontological modi: instrumental space and cyberspace; to define the ontological characteristics of instrumental space and cyberspace, their common features (connection) and distinction; to reveal features of existential immersion of a person into virtual computer reality – the process of emotional perception of existence in the information field – an artificially created world of 'people and things,' as well as subjective-personal effects accompanying this process. The methodology used: M. Heidegger's Dasein analytics, D. Ihde's instrumental realism, systems-based approach, comparative analysis. Key findings: the creation of cyberspace and computer virtual reality has unveiled a new stage in the formation of existential experience and project as a system of information technology and socio-psychological competencies. There is a necessity in the system-based elaboration of conceptual and categorical apparatus. The researcher will use it to describe the ontological modi of both existing and a new (computer virtual) reality and their interconnection. ; Kontekst i važnost istraživanja: sve je teža zadaća način razvitka općih teorijskih osnova i metodologije ontologijskih problema vezanih uz međudjelovanja i međuodnose između internetskog prostora i fizičkog svijeta, otežan uspostavom računalnog virtualnog okružja, određenog kako prisutnošću ljudskog bića u računalnoj mreži tako i prisutnošću računalne mreže u životu ljudskog bića. Virtualna stvarnost već je, čak u svom razvijenom obliku, široko prepoznata i opisana u akademskim vrelima. Već ima prijedloga za njenu primjenu u medicini, odgoju i obrazovanju, profesionalnom uvježbavanju, svemirskoj, vojnoj, umjetničkoj, automobilskoj industriji, brodogradnji, prometu, zabavi, savjetodavnom pomaganju stanovništvu, administraciji i drugim područjima upravljanja. Prema akademskim predviđanjima usmjeren, raznoliko snažan, razvitak virtualnog računalnog okoliša na širokoj osnovi nastavit će se i u 21. stoljeću. Cilj je ovog proučavanja provesti sustavnu analizu pojmova: egzistencijalni prostor, instrumentalni prostor i kibernetički prostor, kao metodologijsku pripravu za njihove ontologijske moduse: instrumentalni prostor i kibernetički prostor; odrediti (definirati) ontološke značajke instrumentalnog prostora i kibernetičkog prostora, njihove zajedničke oznake (povezanost) i razliku; otkriti egzistencijalne crte uronjenosti osobe u računalnu virtualnu stvarnost – proces emocijalnog percipiranja egzistencije u informacijskom polju – u umjetno stvoreni svijet »ljudi i stvari«, kao i subjektivno-osobne učinke koji prate taj proces. Iskorištena metodologija: analitika Tubitka (Dasein) M. Heideggera, instrumentalni realizam D. Ihdea, na sustavima zasnovan pristup, poredbena analiza. Glavni rezultati: stvaranjem kibernetičkog prostora i virtualne računalne stvarnosti razotkrilo se novo stanje u oblikovanju egzistencijalnog iskustva i zacrtalo sustav tehnološke informacije i socio-psiholoških mjerodavnosti (osposobljenosti). Nužna je sustavna razrada pojmovnog i kategorijalnog aparata. Istraživač će to iskoristiti da opiše ontološke moduse i nove (virtualne, računalne) stvarnosti, te povezanost među njima.
