This study considers the political aspects of the Joko Widodo government's megaproject to build an integrated marine logistic system known as the tol laut. Expanding the existing literature which gives details about the contextual obstacles faced by and the prospects for the Indonesian government to pursue its infrastructure ambitions, the study argues that notwithstanding the relevance of the tol laut for advancing the Indonesian economy, it is inevitably entangled with dynamic internal and external environments which can unfavourably distort the construction processes. This is the way of understanding the political economy of Indonesia's development issues which allows for the juxtaposition of domestic political and international relations factors as its framework of analysis. The discussion is divided into four sections. Section one explains the conceptual and methodological foundation of the study. Section two outlines the importance of the tol laut to Indonesian national economic development. Section three looks at how the current domestic political settings pose structural hurdles to Widodo's tol laut, and section four observes the effect of international relations of powerful regional actors and Jakarta's diplomatic capacity to the on-going tol laut. The concluding section summarizes the findings of the study.

This research aims to determine the effect of government spending and unemployment on IHDI in Indonesia in 2010-2013. The method of analysis used in this research is regression analysis of fixed effect model (FEM) panel data. The result of t-test in this research indicates that government expenditure has a significant positive effect on IHDI and unemployment has a negative effect not significant on IHDI. In conclusion, the two variables have a significant effect on IHDI in Indonesia in 2010-2013.

This study aims to determine the formulation of strategies that can be used in facing the challenges of implementation of innovation policies in realising sustainable development in the community environment with the case study of the Indonesia Village Government. The innovation policy aims to improve the quality in the use of village funds and also to encourage productivity and development in rural areas as well as build sustainable village capacity to improve the socio-economic welfare of the community and the independence of the village. This qualitative research uses a case study approach through field research in the village local government. We identified several challenges in the implementation of the innovation policy. In overcoming these challenges, as well as successfully implementing the policy, the role of innovative behaviour on the part of policy makers at the village level is importance. With an exploration strategy approach, entrepreneurial strategies and open and collaborative approaches used by various parties are also required in the successful implementation of innovation policy. The development of future research related to innovation policy relevant to the characteristics of rural communities is still very much needed.

UKM Batik Jember as one of the local economic resources, has the potential to contribute to special characteristics for the city of Jember so that it is known inside and outside the region. The government and the public need to pay attention to the development of UKM Batik Jember in order to be competitive with other economic actors. The purpose of this research is to get a strategy for local economic development in UKM Batik Jember in Jember. This research is a survey research conducted in Jember with the population being batik entrepreneurs in Jember. The analytical method used in this study is SWOT analysis. This analysis is used to determine the internal and external conditions of an organization which will then be used as a basis for designing strategies and work programs. The results of the SWOT analysis of the position of UKM Batik Jember are in the position that this industry is still weak so it still needs to make improvements from internal and external Jember Batik UKM. The recommended strategy is a survival strategy through business cooperation or business partnerships, building forums and partnerships with local governments and improving internal business problems.

This paper investigates the association of religiosity and trust to community participation or volunteering in development. Social trust is measured in several indicators, is an important aspect of development process, since social trust related to many development outcomes, such as growth, democratic stability as well as subjective well- being. In economic terms, when people trust each other, transaction cost can be reduced, organization can perform better, government policy could stimulate output faster, and many more. Utilizing Indonesia Family Life Survey (IFLS) wave 2014 this study finds the following results. Firstly, social trust closely associated with individual characteristics. Maturity, better educational and income level improve individual trust and individual participation in community activities. Secondly, individual subjective report about religiosity strongly associated with willingness to participate in various community activities. Policy relevant with this finding it is important to promote tolerance and religiosity, as these aspects can improve social trust. Social trust closely associates with more participation in community activities for accumulating public services and public goods. As more public services and public goods are available, nationally better welfare can be promoted.

The development of the television industry in Indonesia began in 1962; Intensity of competition in this industry began in 2000 and 2001, with the emergence of several private television stations that have special characteristics. Furthermore, emerging new television station broadcasting from the TransTV, Lativi, Trans7, GlobalTV and Metro. In 2013 and 2014 appeared new television station like Bloomberg, CNN Indonesia, which uses the brand which has been established and has a reputation in the field. This study could broaden the understanding of the meaning of an organization's reputation and gain whatever can be produced from a good reputation. The research was conducted at the organization Trans Media. The first phase of the study was to conduct inductive theory building. Target sample in this study was the informant who has sufficient competence and capabilities related to the issues. The main data sourced from the implementation of semi-structured interviews with two types of informants: managers who have responsibility for managing programs of TV shows, and the board of directors or commissioners who will provide direction for the management of the overall TV. The result of the research lead to the conclusion that the Trans Formation based on the concept of national metropolitan television. To maintain its reputation, Trans consistently presenting quality broadcasts in accordance with their values, namely anti-mainstream, educate, and inspire. The results of previour research Wahyu (2001-2009), found the reinforce and complement the theory of Cognitive Development (Scheme) student (Extended Level Triad++) in the learning of mathematics. This study aims: 1) to know the aspects that can be developed as a natural tourist attraction in Sanrobengi Island. 2) to know the public perception of the development of natural attractions in Sanrobengi Island. 3) to know the prospect of developing natural attractions in Sanrobengi Island. Objects in this study are tourists and the public. The data presented in the form of primary data taken from the questionnaire "Prospect of Sanrobengi Island Tourism Object Development in Boddia Village Galesong District Takalar District". Informant retrieval was taken using accidental sampling technique and purposive sampling technique. Data analysis used is qualitative descriptive analysis and SWOT analysis.The results show that the appropriate development strategy in the development of Sanrobengi Island as a natural tourist attraction is a strategy of Strength - Opportunities. The conclusions obtained include: physical aspect and social aspects strongly support the development of Sanrobengi Takalar Island as a natural tourist attraction. Public and tourist perceptions of natural attractions that agree to do more development. The development strategy that can be done include developing interest tourism, enhancing cooperation between central and local government, making promotion through website, banner, and billboards, local people's role in developing tourist object such as boat service utilization as well as maintaining and maintaining coral reef habitat environment.

The purpose of writing is to determine the implementation of village fund allocation in rural development towards clean village governance (Good Governance: accountability, transparency and participation) starting from the planning stage, transparency and accountability. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with case studies, describing the implementation of Village Fund Allocation Management (ADD) for development in Ngombakan Village. Then compared with the applicable regulations (Permendagri No. 113 of 2014) and cross-check with the real phenomena that occur in the management of Village Fund Allocation (ADD) in Ngombakan village in realizing good governance, so that conclusions can be drawn. The results of this study indicate that the management of ADD in the village of Ngombakan in general has been accountable, transparent and participatory. However, there are still technical problems. These constraints are a constraint from the regency that is late in making a Regent's Regulations regarding the regulations on ADD and its management. Acceptance of technology for consumers is still an interesting part to be investigated to date. Although the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) has been widely referred by researchers from various sciences, there are still weaknesses that can be investigated, including not fully answering the problems related to cognitive and affective factors in understanding consumer behavior. The purpose of this study is to develop and test an integrated model to determine the intention of consumers to use technology. The object used is the go-pay application as e-Wallet-based Electronic Money which is one of the relatively new technology products as an alternative means of payment or transaction and is part of the National Non-Cash Movement by the government of the Republic of Indonesia. Modeling in this study, integrating the TAM model by involving affective factors namely Pleasure, Arousal, and Dominance (PAD) theory, and prior experience variables as a direct effect on perceived usefulness and attitude toward usage, then its effect on adoption intention. The sample in this study is millennial age people who have known go-pay in areas of East Java with a total sample of 270 respondents. Collecting data through questionnaires using a Likert scale with analysis techniques using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of this study indicate that Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Easy of Use, Pleasure, and Arousal have a positive effect on attitude and intention to use go-pay, while Prior Experience supports perceived usefulness, but does not support attitude, neither does Dominance support the attitude of using gopay.

The use of performance measurement system in the public sector (PMS) has become a panacea in addressing an inefficient bureaucracy that fails to meet the citizen satisfaction by its lethargic service delivery. It has introduced a way for public managers to better generate outcome policy into a concrete-measurable actions. While many countries already demonstrates the benefit of using the system, Indonesia remain struggle in implementing the ideal of performance management particularly in the context of local government that usually lacking of adequate capacity and sources. Despite the continuous support by central government, the diverse of socio-environmental context hinder local government to fully implements of SAKIP. This paper sought to portray the implementation and challenges that is faced by one local government agencies in Sukabumi, West Java Indonesia in implementing Indonesian public performance management system (SAKIP). This paper is using qualitative approach by conducting structured interview to key informants. The results showed that organizational variables have been able to accommodate the implementation of SAKIP policy through units formed specifically in organizational structure and governance regulations, organizational interpretation variables are still necessary to improve the dissemination of policy information to all levels of employees, application variables where the implementation of policies are still experiencing constraints, especially in planning and evaluation, as well as a lack of specific strategies in improving organizational performance. This paper reinforces the results of previous studies related with performance management system in Indonesian local government that its implementation has not been yet showing their best result.

The Bali Sejahtera Community-Based Development Program (CBD) is not the only program designed to respond to challenges, bringing Balinese families as part of an Indonesian family to live in prosperity. From the data collected by the Central Bureau of Statistics, the poverty rate in Bali has increased every year. To overcome the problem of poverty, the government has made various efforts by issuing development policies and programs by the central and regional governments. The condition of poverty is still a concern in Bali, inspiring the outside world, especially the World Bank to participate in overcoming it. Therefore, to implement a policy that has been designed by the Provincial Government of Bali, the Provincial Government of Bali in collaboration with the World Bank launched the Bali Sejahtera Community Development Program which began in 2001. Community Based Development uses a community-based or bottom up development program placing the community object program as the manager and main actor of the program in the sense that the community is given a full role to determine its own interests or needs in accordance with their potential. This program is managed through traditional institutions in Bali through Pakraman village. Badung as one of the regencies in Bali is the target of the CBD-Bali Sejahtera program with the number of Pakraman villages spread across 6 sub-districts in Abiansemal, Mengwi, South Kuta, Kuta, North Kuta and Petang, with a number of poor families as 5,680 households out of the total number 43,497 households. The selection of 49 Pakraman villages in Badung Regency was the object of research with the reason that, seeing from the development of the poverty line in Badung Regency that there was still a percentage of poverty that could be categorized as far from the expectation, Badung Regency was the Regency / City in Bali that had the Highest Original Income compared to other districts / cities in Bali. The analytical method used is qualitative.

This report aims to review the implementation of bureaucracy reform in realizing good governance and the target mdgs the city government yogyakarta .This research is considered as policy research associated with bureaucracy reform based on the minister of utilization state apparatus and bureaucratic reform no. 11 years 2011 .The research is municipal yogyakarta that is city administration reward challenged the highest in the management of governance se-indonesia given by the indonesian government index ( igi ) since 2012-2014 with with get a rata-rata 6,8 index governance .The data in this research consisting of primary and secondary data .The method of analysis that used in this research is descriptive analytical , analysis techniques use also content analysis. The role of the local economy gets eroded due to the inclusion of capitalization in rural areas. This research examines the coal mining industry's influence on the local economy's existence in Berambai Hamlet, Bukit Pariaman Village, Tenggarong Seberang Sub-district, Kutai Kartanegara Regency, East Kalimantan Province, Indonesia. This research uses qualitative research methods; meanwhile, data collection methods use field observation and in-depth interviews. Interviews were conducted in stages through a snowball sampling to strengthen the observations' results. The results show that the local economy and livelihood in Berambai Hamlet are under pressure and eroded due to coal mining activities. Livelihood products shrank drastically, especially fish and rice, due to mining waste polluting rivers and agricultural land conversion to mining areas. Furthermore, other sources of income from farmworkers are not enough to fulfill the needs. The government needs to protect their livelihoods as a driving force for the local economy by integrating nature-based life. The government needs to develop local economic potentials, such as tourism areas, crafts, and artworks. The government also needs to strengthen village institutions. It must be carried out together with mining companies seriously. Furthermore, the government needs to maintain the unity of rural spatial and spatial planning. ; Peran ekonomi lokal semakin terkikis akibat masuknya permodalan di pedesaan. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh industri pertambangan batu bara terhadap eksistensi perekonomian lokal di Dusun Berambai, Desa Bukit Pariaman, Kecamatan Tenggarong Seberang, Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara, Provinsi Kalimantan Utara, Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif; sedangkan metode pengumpulan datanya menggunakan observasi lapangan dan wawancara mendalam. Wawancara dilakukan secara bertahap melalui snowball sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perekonomian dan mata pencaharian masyarakat di Dusun Berambai mengalami tekanan dan tergerus akibat kegiatan penambangan batu bara. Produk mata pencaharian menyusut drastis, terutama ikan dan beras akibat limbah tambang mencemari sungai dan perubahan lahan pertanian menjadi area pertambangan. Selain itu, sumber pendapatan lain dari buruh tani tidak cukup untuk memenuhi kebutuhan. Pemerintah perlu melindungi mata pencaharian mereka sebagai penggerak ekonomi lokal dengan mengintegrasikan kehidupan berbasis alam. Pemerintah perlu mengembangkan potensi ekonomi lokal, seperti kawasan pariwisata, kerajinan, dan karya seni. Pemerintah juga perlu memperkuat kelembagaan desa. Ini harus dilakukan bersama dengan perusahaan tambang secara serius. Selanjutnya, pemerintah perlu menjaga kesatuan tata ruang desa dan perencanaan tata ruang.
