Catherine May proposed House Joint Resolution 206 to the House of Representatives in efforts to amend the United States constitution. Her resolution would establish equal rights for men and women. Additionally, in a letter to Katherine St. George, who was also a prominent equal rights proponent in the House, May asks to sponsor equal rights amendment H.J. Res.28.
