The article is devoted to the study of the names of stones in the Altai language and its dialects; the lexical and semantic classification of stones is identified and described; folklore research and interpretation of stones in the literary texts of Altai writers, in particular in the poem by Boris Ukachin, is carried out. Based on the material of his poem, a historical and linguistic analysis of the ethnocultural vocabulary of the Altai language is given. The cult of stones is one of the most ancient in the history of mankind. This problem has been little studied and requires further research. There are about fifty types of stones in the Altai language. All of them have names depending on their purpose, use. In many Altai legends and legends, they play an important role, have magical and medicinal properties. According to the authors, the names of stones are widely and variously represented in the work of B. Ukachin. Many of them are common for the vast majority of Turkic languages, which is quite justified historically and testifies to cultural traditions
Folklore in Serbian historical literature of the Middle Ages ;
The article is devoted to the reflection of folk stories in the Serbian historical literature of the Middle Ages.We focus on the reflection of folklore in the early historical monuments, historical vitae, and, in the first place, in the genealogies and annals of the late Middle Ages. These monuments had reflected the folk stories which were recorded by folklorists of modern age. Among them are the epic tales of Janko Sibinyanin and of the Battle of Kosovo. Our special attention was paid to the reflection of the epic tales of Kosovo cycle in the annals and genealogies of 15th -17th centuries. The two main components of the epic story of the battle were the feat of Milos Kobilic who killed Turkish sultan Murat, and the treason of Vuk Brankovic, the son-in-law of Serbian Prince Lazar' who was killed in the battle. The article shows that the notion of the late occurrence of stories about Milos the assassin has indeed been confirmed by a study of Serbian historical works. At the same time, Milos might have had a homonymous historical prototype — the Serb who allegedly had killed Sultan Musa after the Battle of Maritsa in 1413. A mention of this person in the Serbian Junior chronicle of the First type, basically going back to 1453, was replaced in the 16th century Niko'lski copy with the name of Milos as the assassin of Murat. The tale of Vuk Brankovic's treason was less popular in 16th and 17th century Serbian chronicles, which can be attributed to his status as the progenitor of the highly esteemed Brankovic dynasty. Political factors could have also affected the earlier silencing of the names of those who betrayed Lazar' in the Kosovo battle. In all early monuments they remain anonymous; the act of treason is, however, mentioned every time. The question thus remains open, and folklore mentions can be used in the search for potential solutions.

STOLʹNYI GOROD 'Capital City' in Old Russian and Folklore Sources ;
This article attempts to determine when one of the most popular epic formulas, stolʹnyi Kiev-grad 'Kiev the capital city' and its variants with the attribute stolʹnyi, emerged in the epic lyrics. The fact that the adjective stolʹnyi was rarely used in Old Russian literary monuments of the 11th–17th centuries suggests that the formula might have appeared only in the 17th century, in a literary work—The Legend of the Kievan Knights. It is suggested that this formula appeared in the 17th century due to the addition of Left-Bank Ukraine and Kiev to the Tsardom of Muscovy. The formula contains a reference to the political realities of the 9th–11th centuries, when Kiev was the major city of the Russian state. The attribution of the adjective stolʹnyi to Kiev in the 17th century was intended to emphasize the fact that Moscow inherited its political leadership from Kiev.

FOLKLORE TRADITION OF THE VILLAGE OF YAMANOVO AND THE VILLAGE OF TOBURDANOVO OF THE KANASH DISTRICT OF THE REPUBLIC OF CHUVASHIA AND ITS EXISTENCE AMONG THE CHUVASH SETTLERS OF THE NORTHERN DISTRICT OF THE NOVOSIBIRSK REGION
In: Bulletin of the Chuvash State Pedagogical University named after I Y Yakovlev, Heft 2(111), S. 65-78
The article considers the song folklore of the village of Yamanovo and the village of Toburdanovo of the Kanash district of the Chuvash Republic in a comparative aspect and the existence of this microlocal tradition among the descendants of the Chuvash immigrants from these settlements to the Novosibirsk region. The study employed the modern, archival, published materials (1933-2020), and the traditions recorded on the mainland territory and in its Siberian diaspora. The systems of folklore genres of the Volga and Siberian traditions largely coincide. Some genres related to ritual folklore were lost in Siberia. In the folklore of the Siberian Chuvash people, borrowings from Russian traditional music are more noticeable. This feature is manifested at the level of individual components (song plots, melodies), as well as in terms of entire genres (lyrical songs of the late tradition, Russian ditties, folklorized church chants). Due to the deep structuring of the elements of the musical language inherent in the Chuvash song culture, the rhythmic-syntactic and modal basis of the vast majority of song samples has been preserved in the Siberian-Chuvash tradition almost unchanged. The differences between the Volga and Siberian versions affect mainly the level of melodica. The strengthening of the role of the Anatri dialect in the Siberian-Chuvash diaspora is also noticeable.
