Using the method of dialectical philosophy and its historical materialism, the main objective of the study was to analyze the modern legal aspects of ensuring food security in modern conditions of development. In this context, the subject of study is the food security system in general, under the hypothesis that states: the fundamental basis for ensuring national food security of the state in the modern world is the effective and sustainable development of its agricultural sector. Based on the results of the study, the key features of the legal support of food security in modern conditions of development were identified. In the conclusions of the case, it has been established that public policies and their relational framework should try at every moment to ensure food security, as an integral part of the agrarian law system, so that, form the dualistic legal nature of its understanding: as an agrarian legal institution and fundamental principle of the agrarian law branch.

The main objective of the article was to study the characteristics of the impact of the war on food security in Ukraine. Ensuring food security is one of the most important aspects of promoting global security, as food consumption is basic in satisfying human needs and underlies the formation of a high level of quality of life of the population. The research methodology involved the use of the documentary method and the application of the dialectical approach. According to the results of the study, it was found that the war has a significant impact on food security in Ukraine. However, the study was limited to analyzing only the food security component. Further research should be devoted to study legal security and the underlying relationship between food security, sovereignty and legal security. It is concluded that the situation with the blockade of Ukrainian food exports indicates that, in the modern globalized world, an aggressor country can use both energy carriers and seizure of nuclear facilities, as well as food, to blackmail the world community, bringing individual countries to the brink of starvation.

El artículo expone los principales resultados de una investigación sobre las consecuencias que la adopción del cultivo de coca, las lógicas productivas de la economía ilícita, y las políticas antinarcóticos del estado Colombiano han significado para la seguridad y soberanía alimentaria de comunidades afrocolombianas en el departamento del Caquetá. El trabajo se sustentó en un extenso trabajo de campo realizado en la zona rural de la inspección de Rionegro, municipio de puerto Rico. En el texto se analiza el papel que juegan la historia regional, el contexto social y económico en las razones que permiten explicar el por qué de la presencia de la coca. Se da cuenta de las principales características de la modalidad de producción familiar que caracteriza la coca en la región y finalmente, y se exponen los impactos que la política antinarcóticos tiene sobre la seguridad alimentaria de las comunidades en la región de estudio. En aras de aportar elementos para el debate de las alternativas para el cultivo de la coca, el artículo demuestra cómo las practicas productivas en la región, tanto legales e ilegales, no pasan por la construcción de un proyecto de soberanía alimentaria y no llegan a satisfacer los puntos básicos de seguridad alimentaria.

The present text presents an experience of resistance in the urban territory, the Network of Huerteros - Medellín, a proposal in action that seeks to take advantage of spaces, most of which are public, to promote them into "Huertos". These have served as scenarios to exhibit, to share, to meet or to meet again, to recognize ourselves as inhabitants of the same territory.

Using the documentary research technique, this paper outlines certain aspects of Ukraine-Poland cross-border mediation interaction in the context of contemporary threats. In addition, it points out the main contemporary threats, which affect the cross-border interaction of Ukraine and Poland. It characterizes such threats as nuclear danger, environmental problems, humanitarian crisis, economic threats and food shortages. It points out that there are internal threats to Poland in connection with the war in Ukraine, the spread of infectious diseases, including COVID-19, due to the large number of refugees, the threat to food security, the threat to Poland's economic stability and poverty. It is shown that Poland interacts with Ukraine on all urgent issues: helps citizens seeking temporary protection, sends humanitarian aid, strengthens and stimulates market relations. It is concluded that all this led to increased cross-border interaction between the countries. The relevance of alternative types of conflict resolution, such as mediation, is highlighted. The scope of cross-border mediation is presented, the current state of mediation is analyzed and conclusions are drawn on the need for further development of this institution.

The article aims to improve the state agribusiness regulatory system. It is established that the state regulatory system for agribusiness must be based on the application of a reasonable protectionism policy, guaranteeing food security through a system of tariffs and customs taxes on imported food products. The authors demonstrate the need to create a favorable climate for foreign investors, establish joint ventures in the agricultural business, provide state guarantees to foreign creditors by importing advanced equipment and technology, as well as finance key areas of science on business problems. Agricultural, the theoretical and methodological basis of this study is an abstract logical method, induction, deduction, analysis, synthesis and systematization methods; as well as the statistical, economic and graphic methods used to study the levels and trends of change in the parameters of agricultural development in the current stage. In conclusion, it is revealed that parities in agricultural prices must include parity with consumer prices. For rural residents. The wages of employees in rural areas must guarantee the reproduction of the labor force and the development of the social sphere.

The problem of food insufficiency and insecurity affects close to 1 billion people worldwide, frequently due to the deficiency of essential mineral elements present in food, such as iron, copper, iodine, selenium and zinc. In addition, the low fertility of soils affects the mobility of nutrients in the soil and the dynamics of plant absorption, directly influencing their production, crop quality and the inadequate nutritional balance of the population. A viable strategy to face this problem is crop biofortification, which aims to improve the nutritional status and value of crops by producing foods with high nutritional value in mineral elements that are deficient in the diet of the world's population. This review article is an analysis of what biofortification implies, its current context and the initiatives of international programs, institutions and policies for the improvement of nutrition, food security and public health. The future perspectives of biofortification explored in this review revolve around the enrichment of natural compounds in vegetables and fruits, as well as the feasibility of biofortification of alternative crops due to their profitability, nutritional value and their good acceptance in the market for human consumption. The analysis of future perspectives and recent advances in this lines of research, focused on obtaining strategies that increase mineral absorption and bioavailability in the plant to achieve greater benefit, the practice of applying soil microorganisms (arbuscular mycorrhizae and plant growth promoting bacteria) is emerging as the strategy with greater accessibility to the farmer at all levels of production, cost reduction and increased yields, while improving various nutritional characteristics of food.

This article describes the mechanisms through which the transition from banana to oil palm plantations in Zona Bananera, Magdalena, has been influential in forced displacement. Therefore it adds to the debate about the paths between resources and conflict in the literature on political economy of internal armed conflicts. The outcome of this qualitative research suggests that in the case in question the following "pathways" have operated: 1. The absence of a strong institutional presence has permitted the collection of extortions by illegal armed groups allowing their financing and generating forced displacement as a consequence of the threats; 2. The transition from banana to palm extraction reduced the intensity of manual labor and food security unleashing displacement processes; and 3. The institutional incentives for oil palm exploitation have promoted the usurpation of land by illegal armed actors who provoke the displacement in order to acquire land for their cultivation. The author assesses national security during the Zedillo administration. Continuity of the economic & political strategies of the Salinas administration, & their impact on national security, are clear & distressing. This strategy creates vulnerability in many aspects: Increased commercial, financial, energy, food, police & military dependence, & greater pressure in problems having to do with bilateral relations with the US -- eg, the increase of drug trafficking or illegal migration -- as well as pressure to have guaranteed access to oil supplies & to begin or continue the privatization of the oil & electric industries, Mexico's remaining two large state-owned enterprises. This article studies Zedillo government discourse regarding national sovereignty & national security in terms of reality vs rhetoric & studies domestic support of national sovereignty & security policy, especially regarding the war on drugs. This is done by analyzing the National Development Plan & the yearly state-of-the-union reports, with their corresponding statistics, & by confronting this data with certain aspects of the domestic social situation. 31 References.
