12 Eylül 2010 Anayasa Değişikliği Referandumunda, "evet" ve "hayır" kampanyaları, değişiklik paketinin içeriğini gölgede bırakarak, süreci kutuplaşmaya indirgeyen bir havada gerçekleşmiştir. Bu araştırmada, birer kamu yöneticisi adayı olarak örnekleme konu olan 1017 Biga İktisadi ve İdari Bilimler Fakültesi öğrencisinin, halkoylamasının değeri, liderlerin üslupları, referandumun AB yolunda bir adım olup olmadığı, demokratikleşme açısından referandumların önemi ve değişikliğe ilişkin bazı anayasa maddeleri itibariyle süreci nasıl algıladıkları araştırılmıştır. Oy kullanma oranının Türkiye ortalamasının üzerinde gerçekleştiği dikkati çekerken, farklı değişkenler ve sürece ait sorular arasında anlamlı düzeyde bir ilişkinin varlığı tespit edilmiştir. Araştırma, referandum sürecinin üniversite öğrencileri tarafından algılanmasına ilişkin ipuçları sunarken, öğrencilerin siyasal sosyalleşme ile ilgili tutumlarını da ortaya koymaktadır. ; "Yes" and "No" campaigns in the September 12, 2010 Referendum on the Constitutional Amendments took place in a polarization environment by living aside the contents of the changing package. The rate of voting is over the average of Turkey and there is a significant relationship between different variables and the questions pertaining to the process. The survey reveals the tips regarding the perceptions of university students on the referendum process and also conveys the attitudes of students about political socialization.

In this study, it was aimed to examine the relationship between secondary school students' problem solving skills and critical thinking skills. 261 secondary school students were included in the study in which the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research methods, was used. "Problem Solving Inventory" and "Critical Thinking Tendency Scale" for secondary school students were used as data collection tools. In the analysis of the data, mean, percentage, frequency, correlation, regression and two-way analysis of variance were used. As a result of the research, it was determined that there is a positive and moderate relationship between the problem solving skills of secondary school students and their critical thinking skills, and that critical thinking skills have a predictive effect of 9.5% on their problem solving skills. There is a positive relationship between gender, grade level and school type variables on problem solving skills and critical thinking skills. In addition, it was determined that while the joint effect of critical thinking and gender was significant on the problem solving skills of secondary school students, the joint effect of critical thinking and grade levels was not significant, and the joint effect of critical thinking and school type was not significant.
Municipalities are the most important actors of urban management and the main decision-making body of municipalities are the municipal councils. The ratio of the women members of municipal councils is important for revealing the role of women in local political decision making and this is also accepted as an indicator of gender equality. This indicator has also been handled by the United Nations and "Gender Equality" goal was included into the "Sustainable Development Goals" which was determined in 2015. The ratio of women members of the local councils was ranked as a sub-goal of "Gender Equality". Although this ratio is an important indicator of the level of the contribution of women in local decision making, it does not explain the quality of this contribution. The issues to be discussed and resolved by the municipal councils are first discussed in the expertise commissions before. The expertise commissions have an impact on the council decisions by discussing and reporting the issues which are referred to them. Therefore, while evaluating the role of the woman in local decision making, the level of participation in the expertise commissions will be examined with the quantity of the women members in the municipal councils. In this context, the study focuses on the number and ratio of the woman members in the expertise commissions established within the municipal councils. Within the scope of the study, the number and ratio of the woman members in the mandatorily established expertise commissions of the municipal councils of Nomenclature of Territorial Units for Statistics (NUTS) Level 2 will be determined. The aim of the study is to reveal the ratio of women's participation in local decisions together with the quality of this participation. ; Kentsel yönetimin en önemli aktörü olan belediyelerin temel karar organı, belediye meclisleridir. Belediye meclislerindeki kadın üye oranı, kadınların yerel siyasi kararların alınmasındaki rolü açısından önem taşımakta ve toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğinin bir göstergesi olarak kabul edilmektedir. Bu gösterge, Birleşmiş Milletler tarafından da özel olarak ele alınmış ve 2015 yılında belirlenen "Sürdürülebilir Kalkınma Amaçları" arasında "Toplumsal Cinsiyet Eşitliği" amacına yer verilmiş, yerel meclislerdeki kadınların sandalye oranı, bu amacın alt hedefleri arasında yer almıştır. Yerel meclislerdeki kadın üye oranı, yerel kararların alınmasında kadınların katkı düzeyini tespit etmek açısından önemli bir gösterge olmakla birlikte, bu katkının niteliğini açıklamamaktadır. Belediye meclislerinde görüşülerek karara bağlanacak olan konular, öncelikle ilgisine göre ihtisas komisyonlarında görüşülerek meclis gündemine alınmaktadır. İhtisas komisyonları, kendilerine havale edilen konularda görüşmeler yaparak meclise rapor sunmakta, bu bakımdan meclis gündemi ve meclis kararları üzerinde bir etkiye sahip olmaktadır. Dolayısıyla yerel kararların alınmasında kadınların rolü değerlendirilirken, yalnızca meclislerdeki sandalye sayısı değil, komisyonlara katılım düzeyleri de incelenmelidir. Bu bağlamda çalışma, belediye meclisleri bünyesinde oluşturulan ihtisas komisyonlarındaki kadın üyelerin sayısını ve oranını konu edinmektedir. Çalışma kapsamında, İstatistiki Bölge Birimleri Düzey 2'de yer alan il ve büyükşehir belediye meclislerinde, kurulması kanunen zorunlu olan ihtisas komisyonlarında yer alan kadın üyelerin sayısı ve oranı tespit edilecektir. Çalışma sonucunda, kadınların yerel kararlara katılım oranının yanı sıra, bu katılımlarının niteliğinin de ortaya konulması amaçlanmaktadır.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ergenlerin bağlanma stilleri ile duygu düzenleme becerileri arasındaki ilişkinin incelenmesidir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda, duygu düzenleme becerilerini ölçmek için "Ergenler İçin Duygu Düzenleme Ölçeği" (EİDDÖ), bağlanma stillerini ölçmek amacıyla "İlişki Ölçekleri Anketi Ölçeği" (İÖA) ve katılımcılar hakkında bilgi toplamak amacıyla "Kişisel Bilgi Formu" kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma evreni 2019-2020 öğretim yılında Sakarya'da öğrenim gören lise öğrencileri oluşturmaktadır. Çalışma grubunu bu çalışma evreni içinde eğitim gören ve yaş ortalaması 16.56 olan 400 lise öğrencisi oluşturmaktadır. Verilerin analizi için t Testi, korelasyon analizi ve regresyon analizi yöntemleri kullanılmış ve analizler SPSS programı ile yapılmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bulgulara göre; Güvenli ve korkulu bağlanma stilleri ile cinsiyet değişkeni arasında anlamlı bir ilişki olduğunu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Diğer bağlanma stilleri olan saplantılı ve kayıtsız bağlanma stillerinin cinsiyet değişkeni ile aralarında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığı bulunmuştur. Ergenlerin içsel işlevsel olmayan duygu düzenleme becerilerinin cinsiyet değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılaşma gösterdiği tespit edilmiştir. Diğer alt boyutlar (İçsel işlevsel duygu düzenleme, dışsal işlevsel duygu düzenleme, dışsal işlevsel olmayan duygu düzenleme) ile cinsiyet değişkeni arasından anlamlı bir ilişki saptanmamıştır. Güvenli bağlanma stili seviyesi yükseldikçe, içsel işlevsel olmayan ve dışsal işlevsel olmayan duygu düzenleme becerisi düzeyi azalmaktadır. Saplantılı ve kayıtsız bağlanma düzeyi artıkça, içsel işlevsel olmayan ve dışsal işlevsel olmayan duygu düzenleme becerisi düzeyi de yükselmektedir. ; The aim of this study is to examine the relationship between adolescents' attachment styles and emotion regulation skills. For this purpose, the "Emotion Regulation Scale for Adolescents" (ARS-A) to measure emotion regulation skills, the "Relationship Scales Questionnaire" (RSQ) to measure attachment styles, and the "Personal Information Form" to collect information about the participants were used. The study universe of the research consists of high school students studying in Sakarya in the 2019-2020 academic year. The study group consists of 400 high school students with an average age of 16.56 studying in this study population. For the analysis of the data, t-test, correlation analysis and regression analysis methods were used and the analyzes were made with the SPSS program. According to the findings obtained from the research, It was concluded that there is a significant relationship between secure and fearful attachment styles and the gender variable. It was found that there was no significant relationship between the other attachment styles, which are obsessive, and indifferent attachment styles, and the gender variable. It has been determined that there is a significant difference between the internal dysfunctional emotion regulation skills of adolescents according to the gender variable. No significant relationship was found between the other sub-factors (internal functional emotion regulation, external functional emotion regulation, external dysfunctional emotion regulation) and the gender variable. As the level of secure attachment style increases, the level of internal dysfunctional and external dysfunctional emotion regulation skills decreases. As the level of obsessive and indifferent attachment increases, the level of internal dysfunctional and external dysfunctional emotion regulation also increases.

In parallel with the rapid advancement of technology, the increasing use of smartphones causes some problems. "Nomophobia", which refers to the state of being away from the cell phone or having connection problems, is one of these problems. The aim of this study is to examine whether the level of nomophobia of academicians teaching at a university located in the west of Türkiye differs significantly in terms of age, gender, academic title and marital status variables. The sample of the study consisted of 205 academicians working at the university who voluntarily participated in the study. In the data collection process of the study, a questionnaire was used to determine the level of nomophobia. Data analysis of the study was carried out using independent sample t-test and analysis of variance test. The results of the analysis revealed that there was no statistically significant difference between the participants' general nomophobia levels and nomophobia dimensions in terms of gender, marital status and academic title variables, while there was a significant difference between the categories of age variable. Considering the findings of the study, it can be said that it is very important to understand how nomophobia questionnaire scores differ according to demographic characteristics in order to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of academicians and to develop new strategies in this direction.

The aim of this study is to examine the satisfaction of needs, happiness, academic motivation and life purpose of students who work and do not work in a job that provides financial benefits during the university life. The research is based on correlational research design. The sample of the study consists of 381 (261 women and 120 men) students studying at universities throughout Turkey during the 2021-2022 academic year. The data were collected through The Psychological Needs Scale, Oxford Happiness Scale-Short Form, Academic Motivation Scale, Scale of Life Goals-Short Form and Demographic Information Form. In line with the main purpose of the study, independent groups t-test was used to examine whether the average means of variables differed by gender and financial benefit, and Pearson correlation analysis was used to examine the relationships between satisfaction of needs, happiness, academic motivation and life purpose. The results revealed that there was a significant and positive relationship between the satisfaction of needs, happiness, academic motivation and life purpose. The level of inner purpose, happiness and academic motivation, which is one of the two sub-dimensions of life purpose, differed according to gender. The difference was in favor of women. The level of relationship need, happiness in life, academic motivation and life goals, which was one of the three subdimensions of need satisfaction, differed according to economic freedom. The difference was in favor of students who did not work at a job.
Kadının ekonomik ve sosyal hayatta yeterince bulunamaması sorunsalı yönetim kademelerinde de eşit temsil edilememelerine sebep olmaktadır. Sanayi Devrimi sonrası çalışma hayatında ve karar alma süreçlerinde yer almaya başlayan kadınlar, 21. yüzyılın ilk çeyreği bitmek üzereyken halen yönetim kademelerine ulaşmakta zorluklar yaşamaktadır. Bu araştırma yükseköğretim kurumlarından biri olan Trakya Üniversitesi'nin yönetim kademelerinde görev yapan kadın yöneticilerin liderlik özelliklerini ve liderlik davranışlarını tespit etmeyi amaçlamaktadır. Araştırmada temel nitel araştırma deseni kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın ölçüt örneklemi; 2021-2022 Eğitim Öğretim döneminde Trakya Üniversitesinde akademik ve idari kadrolarda görev yapmakta olan kadın yöneticiler olarak belirlenmiştir. 20 kadın yönetici ile yüz yüze ya da çevrimiçi görüşmeler yapılmış ve yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu ile elde edilen veriler nitel veri analiz yöntemlerinden betimleyici içerik analizi ile değerlendirilmiştir. Verilerinin analizinde içerik ve betimsel analiz kullanılmış̧; araştırma desenine uygun olarak temalar belirlenmiş̧, belirlenen temalar kategorilere ayrılmıştır. Araştırma bulgularına göre, kadın yöneticilerin liderlik özelliklerden tarafsız ve adil olmanın, hitap yeteneğine sahip olmanın, çalışkan olmanın önemine vurgu yaptıkları tespit edilmiştir. Yöneticilik özellikleri kapsamında yine adil olmak, liyakate önem vermek, duyarlı olmak ve otoriter olmak vurgulanmıştır. Yöneticilikte karşılaşılan olumlu durumlara ilişkin saygınlığın atması, fikir ve görüşlerine önem verilmesi, rol model olması belirtilmiştir. Yaşanılan olumsuz durumlara ilişkin bürokratik prosedürler, yardımcı personel yetersizliği, kadınlar arası çatışmalar vurgulanmıştır. Cinsiyet ayrımcılığı kaynaklı sorun olarak erkeklerin kadınlardan talimat almayı sevmemesi tespit edilmiştir. This study intends to investigate the concept of social capital on the basis of evidence provided by theoretical perspectives and empirical studies. Various definitions of social capital touch upon beliefs, values, networks, and trust by complicating the meaning and creating conceptual chaos. In addition to shaky conceptual foundations, methodological inadequacies are also framing numerous problems and challenges. Moreover, lack of power, class, race, gender etc. analysis in the literature makes it difficult to contribute to poverty alleviation. In this respect, first, the origins of the social capital, definition, and the development of the concept will be explored. The investigation of the role of the World Bank in the promotion of the concept and the empirical evidences will constitute second part of this work. It is argued here in order to foster mechanisms of development, social capital projects require broader, more collaborative, and innovative approaches.

There has been much scholarly attention given to the role of women in the labor market throughout the years. While there are plenty of evaluations of ideas and perspectives regarding work-life concepts, there is limited understanding regarding the theoretical foundation of work-life concerns specifically about mothers. This study aims to provide an overview of theories used to investigate the work-life issues of working mothers. The data were collected from the Web of Science database. A total of 63 research studies examining the work-life challenges faced by employed women were evaluated based on theoretical frameworks. It was seen that identity theory and gender perspective are dominant perspectives in the current literature. In addition, the prevailing work-life perspectives adopted in the studies are work-life balance and work-life conflict. The study offers a detailed examination of the various theoretical perspectives employed in understanding the work-life difficulties encountered by employed mothers.

As epitomized by the invasion of Ukraine, the lasting geopolitical power struggle between the West and the rising nations, including Russia, has been dragging the international system towards polarization again. Its epicenter lies in the contest over the meaning of modernity that becomes particularly evident in the antagonistic attitudes towards sexual rights. Linking sexual rights to modernity has been counteracted by the discourse on traditional values. This article aims to critically examine Russia's advocacy of traditional values in the geopolitical context. Built on the tripartite of cultural authenticity, sovereignty, and anti-Westernism, the discourse of traditional values conveys the resistance to the imposition of liberal values regarding gender equality and sexual diversity as the constitutive parameters of modernity. The investigation extends beyond a simplistic unipolar or bipolar worldview and argues that Russia's stance is not merely counter-hegemonic against the West but also serves its imperialist aims as evidenced by its invasion of Ukraine.
