Se construyeron IRE para sintetizar diez variables, que son: logros académicos (LA), inteligencias múltiples (IM), autoestimas (AUTO), currículum del hogar (CdH), estatus socioeconómico (ESE), salud (S), asistencia a clases (AC), disciplina (D), participación en programas de atención social (PPA), escuelas efectivas (EE). La población consideró niños de 5º. básico, estudiantes tanto de escuelas mixtas públicas y privadas, como de urbanas y rurales, procedentes de los municipios de Funza y Madrid, departamento de Cundinamarca, Colombia, en el año 2005. Las muestras al azar, por estratos, seleccionaron 35 escuelas, con 2.240 alumnos. Los datos incluyeron: notas educativas y tests; escalas MIDAS-Kids, de Shearer; inventario de Coopersmith; cuestionario currículo del hogar, de Pizarro; estratos económicos de acuerdo con la categoría del SISBEN; porcentajes de inasistencia a clases; indicadores de comportamiento en clases; participación en programas de atención social; cuestionario de escuelas efectivas de Witte, Walsh y Pizarro. ; IREs (pointers of education risks, for its letters in Spanish) were built based on 10 variables, which are: academical achievements (LA); multiple intelligences (IM), self-esteem (AUTO), home curriculum (CdH), social and economical status (ESE), health (S), classes attending (AC), discipline (D), participation in social care programs (PPA), effective schools (EE). Population chosen are kids from Elementary 5th grade: public and private, urban and rural school Students, coming from Funza and Madrid, two towns located in Cundinamarca, Colombia, near Bogota (the capital); this study was made in 2005. Models were taken at random from 35 schools, with 2.240 students. Data required educational notes and tests, scales MIDAS-Kids of Shearer, Coopersmith inventory; home curriculum questionnaire of Pizarro; economical levels according to the category of SISBEN, non class attending percentages, behavior in class indicators, participation in social care programs and an effective schools questionnaire from Witte, Walsh and Pizarro.

Social Balance Indicators in the cooperative sector ; Indicadores de Balance Social en el sector cooperativista
Introduction. Savings and credit cooperatives constitute a fundamental component in society since they contribute significantly to the construction of a participatory, democratic and solidary economy. However, the commitment to assume responsibility because of their actions is the duty of every organization, overcoming the philanthropic and altruistic approach with which this term is often confused. The objective of this research is to apply indicators that allow evaluating social responsibility articulated to the fulfillment of cooperative principles. Methodology. The research is of a non-experimental, descriptive cross-sectional type, once the findings have been presented, they are described and synthesized based on an interpretation. Results. The application of 23 social balance indicators, articulated with the cooperative principles, allowed evaluating the organization's social responsibility management and providing information that served as the basis for decision-making. Conclusions. From the results obtained, it can be concluded that there are very few deficiencies at the level of social management that must be addressed, since in large part the results register satisfactory results. ; Introducción. Las cooperativas de ahorro y crédito constituyen un componente fundamental en la sociedad ya que contribuyen de manera significativa a la construcción de una economía participativa, democrática y solidaria. No obstante, el compromiso de asumir la responsabilidad producto de su accionar es deber de toda organización, superando el enfoque filantrópico y altruista con el que muchas veces se confunde este término. Es así como el objetivo que se plantea esta investigación es aplicar indicadores que permitan evaluar la gestión de responsabilidad social, alineados al cumplimiento de los principios cooperativos. Metodología. La investigación es de tipo no experimental de corte transversal descriptiva, una vez que los hallazgos han sido presentados estos se describen y se sintetizan en base a una interpretación. Resultados. La aplicación de 23 indicadores de balance social, articulados a los principios cooperativos permitieron evaluar la gestión de responsabilidad social de la organización y proporcionar información que sirva de base para la toma de decisiones. Conclusiones. A partir de los resultados obtenidos se puede concluir que en la organización existen muy pocas deficiencias a nivel de la gestión social que deben ser atendidas ya que en gran parte los resultados registran resultados satisfactorios.

The Role of the Number of Detected Criminal Offenses in the Police Performance Indicators System

The aim of the study was to analyses the system of police performance and determine the role of the indicator that shows the number of detected criminal offenses in this system. A comprehensive study of the chosen topic was realized through empirical and theoretical methods, as well as the comparative analysis. It is determined that the components of the system of police performance indicators include the level of public trust in the police as a fundamental indicator that reflects the real state of crime and security in the country; the level of detection of criminal offenses; crime rate and public safety; citizens-police interaction rate; response time to offenses. It was found that the ratio of detected and solved crimes for the reporting period allows reflecting the police performance in the fight against crime, identifying the main problems of organizational, personnel, material, technical and legal nature of their activities. The evaluation of the effectiveness of policing through the prism of detected criminal offenses provides for further research and justification in order to determine effective legal tools for its regulation.
