The ability to diversify our economy and into the path of industrialization, is part of a debate on the political agenda that seeks no longer argue about whether to industrialize or not, but rather how we are going to do. In this analysis, the business sector to seek input in this process is rarely taken into account. In that sense, this paper seeks to contribute to this analysis from a historical perspective, going into 1935. This year is chosen because the main analysis is based on an article written in that year published by the National Society of Industries. This text contains interviews and industrialists from the time we come to their conception of protectionism. The different views on this policy and bel should explain what these different approaches will be the central analysis of the article.

Abstract: This research project has the aim of analysing value enhancement of Industrial Heritage through different pioneer types of musealization within this domain of research. These are the suggested examples: the Salt Mines of Wieliczka, in Krakow (Poland), the Ironbridge Gorge, in Telford (England) and Shaft nº XII of Zollverein, in Essen (Germany). So as to go through the selected examples, the same model of analysis for all of them has been applied. The different sections of this file are described as follows: firstly, physical and political position of each one of these complexes; secondly, their technical development and evolution through history. In third place, the architecture of the three suggested examples is formally analyzed, making special emphasis in both the intervention models in historic structures and also in the museografic resources at the service of the exhibitive discourse. The file ends with considerations about the relevance of these models and their validity.
