Purpose: The aim of the study is to analyze investment activities in Ukraine to determine effective mechanisms and incentives for financing innovative activities.
Design / Method / Research approach. In the national economy of Ukraine, effective models of financing innovative activities, favorable for enterprises that introduce innovations, have not been created. Carrying out innovative activity, which is highly risky and does not always enable to plan profit amount, requires the use of financing flexible forms. Currently, there is no solution to individual issues of strengthening the positive impact of state financial policy on the innovation development in industry, funding sources optimization for innovation. In this regard, it is necessary to clarify the scientific provisions on the substantiation of mechanisms for stimulating the innovative activities financing as an important element of the national economy development state regulation.
Research results. The trends of innovative activity in terms of its financing sources have been analyzed. The problems of organizing the industrial enterprise financing have been highlighted. Prospective ways of solving the problem of financing innovative activities volume increasing and structure improving have been presented. It is necessary to transform the depreciation, budgetary and taxation, credit, technical and technological, foreign trade policy.
Theoretical value of research. It is proposed to modernize the methodological foundations for the targeted comprehensive programs development, implemented in the innovation sphere, which should consider the possibilities of using the appropriate instruments inherent in different areas of public financial policy, primarily budgetary and taxation.
Practical value of research. In order to stimulate innovative activities financing, it is necessary to introduce public-private partnership instruments. Various instruments can be used to solve the problem: direct government funding, government guarantees provision, joint (with a private partner) entrepreneurship (with or without a creation) on the basis of an open transparent tender. Further stimulation of conscientious venture business is advisable.
Originality / Value of research. The research is an original result of scientific work carried out by the author's team.
Research Limitations / Future Research. It is advisable to stimulate a conscientious venture business, which inherently tends to the implementation of innovative activities. The tools for the administration of intellectual property recognized by the world practice should be introduced.

Currently the bank sector plays an important role in the provision of innovative developments of the country economy. The solution of the task demands its competitiveness and innovative orientation of all financial-credit organizations in it's consistency. In connection with this first of all a great responsibility and importance lies on governments with banks. Mainly they'll play a fundamental role in the provision of high level investment activity in the economy in making financial support of a market infrastructure. Revolutionary changes in financial-credit sphere taking place in Azerbaijan Republic for the last decade caused high level dynamism of financial markets, specially of bank products market. During the short-term period of its development there was observed distribution of markets share among its participants, appearance of great amount of new participants, regular changes in the sphere of regulation market interrelationship by the government that served regular difference in additional inducements for fulfillment and change of existing spector of bank products. These processes integrally bring us to the bank activity sphere,having the "innovative" denomination.The aim of the research is the handling and foundation of methodological position on analysis, formation of innovative bank technology, providing the enhancement of the bank business efficiency.The subject of the research is the bank realizing innovative technology of bank service to natural persons at the modern stage development of home market economy.The object of the research is organisational-economic aspects of innovative activity of banks and utilisation of innovative bank technology.The theoretical and methodological basis of the research is the fundamental labours and scientific research results of national and foreign scientists in the sphere of theory and practice of innovative activity and banking, also local normative legal acts of commercial banks on investigated problem, publications in periodical and branch issues, materials of scientific-practical conferences and seminars.

In this paper we use new data to describe how firms from 15 European countries organise their innovative activities. The data matches firm level accounting data with information on the patents that those firms and their subsidiaries have applied for at the European Patents Office. We describe the data in detail.

The present paper first discusses theoretically the different incentives of manager- versus owner-controlled firms for investment into innovative activity. In addition, the role of debt financing is analyzed. Subsequently the results from an empirical study on the determinants of innovative activity measured by patent applications are presented. A sample of German firms covering 2,793 observations is used, and it turns out that companies with widely held capital stock are more active in innovation, i.e. weakly controlled managers show a higher innovation propensity. However, the higher the leverage the more disciplined the managers are.

Psychological researches of innovative activity are submitted in given article. The basis of the given research is 2020 regulations about the necessity of a choice of an innovative way of development stated in the Concept. Problem which assumes scientific study of concept of an innovation as the multivariate size determined in space of many variables and including – psychological accept is formulated in the article. The necessity of development of the psychological theory of individual innovative activity that will allow solving problems of management of the given activity is underlined in article.

"The present paper discusses the effects of dispersed versus concentrated capital ownership on investment into innovative activity. While the market for equity capital might exert insufficient control on top managements' behavior, this weakness may be mitigated by a suitable degree of debt financing. We report the results of an empirical study on the determinants of innovative activity measured by patent applications. Using a large sample of German manufacturing firms, we find that companies with widely held capital stock are more active in innovation, i.e. weakly controlled managers show a higher innovation propensity.
