Administration of International Law.
The United Nations' legal organ, the International Court of Justice, has a Clerk's Office which enables it to carry out its judicial function in full independence. The staff of this office, who are international civil servants, perform functions related to the Court's judicial activities as well as administrative tasks. Enjoying a certain autonomy vis-à-vis the United Nations, the Court, for example, has drawn up its own personnel regulations.
