Este artigo trata das relações entre os três conceitos do título,sendo quea música é trabalhada como fonte histórica para resgatar um pouco dedois movimentos até certo ponto opostos: a ditadura militar no Brasile ofim da ditadura em Portugal. Também se procura examinar como amemória se constituiu num espaço de lutas no qual a MPB desempenhouum importante papel ao gravar músicas cujos temas a censura e arepressão tentaram jogar no esquecimento. ; This article concerns therelationship between the three concepts of the title, withthe objective ofevaluating music as an historical source in the analysis of two nearlyopposite historicalevents: the military dictatorship in Brazil and the end of thedictatorship in Portugal.The article also examines how memories of lyrics fromBrazilian Popular Music(MPB) became an important space of struggle when themilitary regime attemptedto suppress and thus relegate to the forgotten therecorded songs through censorship.

This article aims to highlight the value attributed to art, especially music, by Arthur Schopenhauer. The author's relationship with the philosophy of Fichte and Schelling will be articulated, contextualizing his thinking with the german romantic movement. Moreover, by presenting his aesthetic hierarchy, some fundamental aspects of the author of The world as will and representation will be pointed out, insofar as this duality is also pointed to when referring to the different artistic styles.

粤劇亦被譽為「南國紅豆」已有三百多年歷史是中國傳統戲曲之一。粤劇流傳於南中國,香港,以及海外華人的社會,其中以廣州佛山一帶最為著名。然而在近年外來文化的影響下,粤劇逐漸被忽視。自二零零九年起,粤劇正式被列為聯合國教科文組織人類非物質文化遺產。隨著國家政府對粤劇的重視,地方傳統曲藝在廣州的發展亦產生了變化。本論文以廣州粤劇的音樂社區為中心,著眼於樂師,把樂師分為業餘者,職業樂師及國家級演奏員三類。本論文亦論述粤劇樂師在粤劇國家化的過程中所面對的改變及所扮演的角色,並探討粤劇由一種地方性的民間傳統藝術演變為一項代表國家的非物質文化遺產對當地音樂社區造成的衝擊。 ; Since Cantonese Opera was declared an intangible cultural heritage representation by United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) in 2009, the Chinese government has carried out different policies to "develop Cantonese Opera. This study looks at the recent "development" of Cantonese Opera in Guangzhou from the perspective of musicians. In Guangzhou, different forms of performing groups are present, from privately organized interest groups to state-managed national troupes. This study divides the music community in Guangzhou into three sub-communities: amateurs, professionals and national musicians and investigates the changing lifestyle and way of interaction of musicians within the music community due to the changes that have occurred in Guangzhou with the listing of Cantonese Opera as an intangible cultural heritage. ; This research focuses on the musicians in the Cantonese Opera music community in Guangzhou. Based on a three-month intensive fieldwork and two pilot studies conducted in 2011 using participant observation and indepth interview, this thesis aims to explore the following questions: in what ways are the musicians' social life and mode of living altered? Este artigo apresenta o resultado da amostra brasileira da pesquisa internacional intitulada "Os significados da música para crianças e adolescentes em atividades musicais escolares e não-escolares". Essa pesquisa teve o objetivo de investigar a importância e o significado atribuído pelos alunos às atividades musicais desenvolvidas em ambientes escolares e não-escolares. O método consistiu em um survey envolvendo 21.975 alunos de oito países (Brasil, China, Coreia do Sul, Estados Unidos, Finlândia, Hong Kong, Israel e México), cujo questionário foi concebido sob a ótica do modelo de expectativa e valor de Eccles e Wigfield. No Brasil, fizeram parte da amostra 1848 alunos da 6a série do ensino fundamental à 3a série do ensino médio, de 11 cidades do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. O instrumento de coleta de dados foi um questionário sobre o perfil dos alunos e suas opiniões quanto ao interesse, importância, dificuldade, utilidade, senso de competência e senso de confiança em relação às disciplinas Artes, Ciências, Educação Física, Matemática, Português e Música. Os dados foram tratados por análise de variância (ANOVA). Os resultados do Brasil apontam que o grau de interesse, importância e utilidade da Música aumenta à medida que os estudantes brasileiros pertencem a séries mais avançadas, em sentido oposto ao observado na maioria dos outros países.

Este texto apresenta a resenha do livro Music education in an age of virtuality and post-truth, do professor canadense da Western University, Paul G. Woodford. O livro costura o pragmatismo de John Dewey com as ideias de George Orwell sobre as sociedades de massa em busca de compreender o impacto que determinadas ações de políticos do século XXI podem causar no campo da Educação, da Arte e das Humanidades. Como conclusão, são oferecidos exemplos similares de políticos do Brasil e da América Latina, com o suporte das ideias de Newton Duarte,2 que ele chamou de O currículo em tempos de obscurantismo beligerante (2018).This text presents a review of the book Music Education in an Age of Virtuality and Post-Truth, by Canadian University Professor Paul G. Woodford (2019). The book stitches John Dewey's pragmatism with George Orwell's ideas about mass societies in order to understand the impact that certain actions of 21st century politicians can have on the field of Education, the Arts and the Humanities. In conclusion, similar examples of politicians from Brazil and Latin America are offered, supported by the ideas of Newton Duarte and what he called The Curriculum in times of Belligerent Obscurantism.

The following article firstly outlines the profile, the pedagogical mission and the legal ordinances that regulate both the formal and the non-formal Music teaching in order to afterwards keep more intensely referring to the institutional mission and to the pedagogical objectives which guide São Paulo Municipal School of Music (EMMSP), which accomplished 50 years of creation in 2019. The text hereby produced is founded in the publication 50 years – São Paulo Municipal School of Music(LIMA, 2019) and in the other publications by this author. ; O artigo que se segue, primeiramente traça o perfil, a missão pedagógica e os ordenamentos legislativos que regem as escolas de ensino de música formal e não formal para depois se ater mais intensamente na missão institucional e nos objetivos pedagógicos que norteiam a Escola Municipal de Música de São Paulo (EMMSP), que completou 50 anos de criação no ano de 2019. O texto aqui produzido está fundamentado na publicação 50 anos – Escola Municipal de Música de São Paulo (LIMA, 2019) e demais textos desta autora.
