History comes across as a product of the effort to create social memory, written or verbal. It is based on information and documents and avoids emotional biases. Music, on the other hand, is a multifaceted phenomenon and its aim to entertain shapes it. On one hand, it interprets emotions, and on the other hand it bears the social, cultural and historical codes of the society to which it belongs. For this reason, it is possible to discover specific details of historical events in the kilams/songs of dengbêjs, important exponents of the Kurdish music of orality. This study focuses on unveiling traces of historical events in the songs of the dengbêjs, in context of the relationship between history and music. Information and documents dealing with the Kozanoğlu events in kilam/songs are compared. A good example of the importance of the dengbêjs in Kurdish history is taken from when in the 19th century, the Ottoman state established a military unit called Fırka-i Islahiye as a part of its policy of asserting its full dominance in rural areas, and also to carry out compulsory resettlement policies. In order to support the operation, the Kurdish chief Sürmeli Memed Pasha set out, taking with him under his auspices Evdale Zeynikê, a dengbej singer. However, the Kurdish troops reaching Kozan were defeated due to the climatic conditions and the cholera epidemic. Witnessing all the events, Evdale Zeynikê sang kilam/songs for every stop on the route and on the death of the Pasha. Throughout this account, which is based in Kurdish culture and immured with a strong dengbêj tradition, it is possible to find details of Kurdish history in the kilams/songs of the dengbêjs.

This handbook suggests a global, transnational perspective on the history of education as a field. Apart from an introductory chapter written by the editors, the text includes 36 articles divided into six parts. Each article describes a subject in the field and ends with a bibliography for further reading. As repeatedly stressed in the book, this field has developed since the early nineteenth century with the emergence of the modern nation-state. Its scope and content expanded and underwent some transformations since the 1960s with the introduction of new perspectives, issues, and methods through interaction with the discipline of history and the broader social sciences.

Nitelikli liselerde öğrenim gören öğrencilerin hem ders yüklerinin fazla olması hem de üniversite sınavına sıkı sıkıya hazırlanmaları ve çoğunlukla kendi alanları ile ilgili sürekli ders çalışmaları sebebiyle müziğe olan ilgilerinin hangi düzeyde olduğu merak konusudur. Bu sebeple bu araştırma ile, nitelikli liselerde yer alan öğrencilerin müziğe yönelik ilgi düzeylerinin incelenerek ortaya çıkartılması amaçlanmaktadır. Araştırma, betimsel bir nitelik taşımakta olup tarama çalışması ile şekillenmiştir. Toplamda 389 lise öğrencisinden yüz yüze görüşme yöntemi ile elde edilmiş olan veriler normal bir dağılım göstermektedir. Bu sebeple veriler, çeşitli değişkenlere göre "İlişkisiz örneklemlerde T-testi" ile "İlişkisiz örneklemlerde Tek Yönlü Varyans Analizi (ANOVA)" teknikleriyle ve genel ilgiye yönelik ise "Betimsel analiz" tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Bu analizler SPSS 25. İstatistik programı aracılığıyla yapılmıştır. Elde edilen bulgulara göre ölçekteki: Cinsiyet, lise türü ve ailede müzikle ilgilenme durumu değişkenlerinden kaynaklı bütün alt boyutlarda; ders programında müzik dersinin var olma durumu değişkeninden kaynaklı 2 alt boyutta; sınıf düzeyi değişkeninden kaynaklı 1 alt boyutta anlamlı bir farklılaşmanın olduğu ile ilgili sonuçlara ulaşılmıştır. Ayrıca, öğrencilerin müziğe yönelik biraz ilgili oldukları da araştırmanın genel sonucudur.

Araştırmada seçim şarkılarının seçmeni farklı yönlerden etkilediği hipotezinden hareket edilmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı siyasal partilerin seçim dönemlerinde kullandıkları seçim şarkılarının seçmene etkilerini tespit etmektir. Siyasal iletişim yöntemi olarak seçim şarkılarının seçmeni etkileme durumu, nasıl etkilediği ve bu şarkıların oy verme davranışına katkısı incelenmiştir. Bunun için 12 sorudan oluşmuş bir anket Elazığ ili merkezinde oturan tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemiyle belirlenmiş 412 kişiye uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile analiz edilmiştir. Seçim şarkılarının genel olarak seçmenin bilgi edinme, dikkat kesilme, hatırlama, tutum oluşturma, seçmeni harekete geçirme ve siyasal katılımı arttırma rollerinin olduğu, bu araştırmada ise seçim şarkılarının seçmenleri doğrudan belirli bir siyasal partiye oy vermeye yönlendirmediği görülmüştür. Seçim şarkılarının seçmenin siyasal partiyi hatırlamasına yardımcı olmanın yanında ayrıca seçmeni harekete geçirici ve seçmenin siyasal katılımını arttırıcı etkilerinin olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. ; Political parties use the many different tools and techniques to the voter for political communication studies in election periods. The most important goal of the Political communication studies is to influence voters and provide to voters giving vote to their parties. During election periods songs the political parties used in election which we can hear in squares, streets, television, radio is one of the communication tools. The research hypothesis is the election song affects the voters in different way. The aim of the research is to determine the affects of the election songs used by political parties during election periods. It was examined that how affects election of songs as a method of political communication and how it effects on voting behavior of these songs. A questionnaire consisting of 12 questions were applied to the random sampling method on the identified 412 people sitting in the center of the province of Elazığ. The data obtained were analyzed with the SPSS program. As a result, it were defined what affect voting behavior of the selection songs. Generally election songs have got roles such to obtain information, to attract attention, to recall, to mobilize voters, and to increase the political participation. The study showed that election songs were not directed to the voters to vote for a particular party. Furthermore, election songs has been concluded that the affects as a factor to action and to increase political participation as well as helping to remind the political party.
