; The following article stands on two hypotheses: 1) In 1970s Argentina, a number of texts that introduced "new" subjectivities and new political expressions began to appear; 2) the literary and cultural studies of homosexuality have kept lesbian figurations next to the place of the unthinkable/un-thought of. It pays special attention to the ways in which the text constructs a lesbian voice and it suggests that Monte de Venus (in)augur(ate)s a future for this voice. In addition, this paper will analyze the novel as a key text that establishes bonds with other contemporary narratives, in order to draw an emergent and impassioned lesbian cartography.

The social, political, and economic changes associated with neoliberalism had a significant impact on the modes of production, circulation, and cultural consumption. Despite the importance of this transformation, literary studies are not paying enough attention to reveal all the keys of these dynamics, which are characterized by their heterogeneity, ambivalence and mutability. With the purpose of contributing to fill this gap, this article offers some reflections on the new tendencies of the literary field taking into account the following variables: the effects of the expansion of the digital dimension; the new roles of the literary agency as figures with greater public presence; the reconfiguration of the authorities; or the emergence of institutions, mechanisms and figures that mediate between the literary text and its readers.
; This article aims to reflect and analyze concepts and mechanisms that allow the organization of human thought through language and express internal movements, in order to establish dialogues between literary art - which advocates several fictional manifestations, without losing the essence of realism- and the letter as a link between the interlocutors, the gesture and the value of writing. For the theoretical basis, the main contributions are from Bakhtin (1997), Cosson (2006) and Foucault (1992). From the bibliographic review, it is possible to notice that the texts that go beyond the meaning of the words configure strategies for dialogue that bring the sender and the receiver closer together, enhancing the idea that writing brings social, cultural, political, economic, and cognitive consequences. Letters, when used for teaching purposes, produce different knowledge and feelings.
; In the last developments of literary texts digital editing, the making of indexes, thesauri and glossaries still offers an open field for researching. In the frame of the project "Andres de Poza" (), devoted to European sixteenth and seventeenth centuries literary texts editions in multiple versions (original and translations to several languages), we have already worked on the preparation of indexes of various kinds. At the moment, we have considered the possibility of integrating ...

The present article analyzes the literary education in the Spain of the Francoism. The particularities of the historical moment made literary education dedicated to political, religious or moral ideology. Likewise, the authors and chosen works are selected to fulfill mainly those ideological functions. This is intuited in the texts used for literary education in the school environment. The main objective of the work is, from an analysis of the authors and works used during the years 1939-1975 in the school environment, to make an approximation to the model of literary education, as well as to the associated interests for the integral formation of the students. The article intends to map the controversy between the newspaper El Democrat and Jesus Urueta (1867-1920) in Mexico in early 1893. Systematically disregarded by historians and critics, this complaint is simultaneous to that of decadentism and provides other meanings. Both begin when Tablada publishes "Cuestión literaria. Decadentismo", on January 15, 1893, to which Urueta responds with "Host. To José Juan Tablada". In the case of Urueta, the publication of two poetic prose in the first fortnight of February of that year unleashed a campaign of discredit to which he responded by signing texts that were from recognized authors. Two days later he revealed the trick. Urueta exhibits that the campaign against him and the incipient decadent movement obeyed exclusively for personal and not literary reasons. After the lawsuit, the opponents of the decadentist group regrouped to discredit the movement itself, avoiding particularizing its criticism in any of its members. A José Juan Tablada".

Literature transforms the subject because its raw material is words and imagination, two issues that operate in the human being for an adequate development of its reality. By sharing these elements, what we will call the infinite bifurcated consciousness emerges because the purpose of literature is to reveal possible worlds. Rhizomatic thinking is proposed as a method to evidence the complicities and possible articulations that exist between literature and performativity. This article does not try to exhaust the analytical potential, but rather to leave the door open for future explorations, reflections, or texts. In general, in literature during the XXI century, the role of performativity in the subject and its incidence in what is political is discovered. The activism of today's world, both in its face-to-face and virtual versions (social networks), indicates the close relationship between aesthetics (including literature and fiction) and politics.
We analyse an interdisciplinary article by the Chilean José Victorino Lastarria entitled Celestial and Social Astronomy, which was published in1867. In general, we examine how different fields of knowledge coexisted in the work of this intellectual, including: astronomy, politics, philosophy and literature. Our analysis considers the hybrid nature of the text, as a literary work, a text that aimed at popularizing scientific findings, while, at the same time, it contains political and social criticism. We focus, specifically, on the treatment of astronomy and its close link with a description of a society. Both the general and specific perspectives lead towards an interpretation of how astronomic science was thought, written and disseminated in Chile in the mid-19th century.

The effects of reading on the reader have been remarkably little studied in literary criticism and theory. When, notably in the 1970s and 80s, reader-response theory brought the reader's role in the construction of a text's meaning to critical attention, that reader was largely deduced from the text itself and thus neither socially situated - in terms of class, ethnicity, degree of cultural capital - nor gendered. However feminist criticism, beginning in the 1970s though with significant antecedents, began from the premise that reading as well as writing mattered: that patriarchal culture was sustained and transmitted in part through its literature, which must be subjected to sceptical readings by women alert to the workings of masculinist ideology, while at the same time women's own writing should be rescued from critical deprecation and its contemporary practice promoted. The woman reader became one central focus of feminist literary study, with a particular emphasis on the genre that women have most extensively practised and read from the nineteenth century on, namely the novel. This article traces the history of feminist theorising of the effects on the reader of reading narrative fiction, with reference mainly to anglophone and francophone feminist criticism, arguably the most influential in a large and multi-lingual body of work. It illuminates the ways in which feminist literary theory has made the reader a significant agent in the way that a text produces meaning, and has replaced the abstract, singular reader of reader-response theory with a plurality of readers whose relationship to the text differs according to their sex (and, by implication, other elements of identity including ethnicity and class). By focusing on an interweaving chain of feminist writings, from Virginia Woolf and Simone de Beauvoir to contemporary work on the popular and middlebrow novel, this article shows how feminist critics have radically re-thought what it means to read a novel as a woman, and affirmed the political significance of reading.
