Vl. Solovyov wrote extensively about love in his romantic and mystical poetry, in his correspondence and in his memoirs. He composed a whole book about love («The Meaning of Love», 1892-1894). The present paper is about the theme of love in Solovyov's moral philosophy as expounded in his «Justification of the Good» (1897). Love in the framework of society is legitimised in marriage, both religious and civil. Solovyov sees in marriage and family a positive consequence of the development of statehood. The problem is that he considered for a long time that the sexual act is unable to restore the lost integrity of the human being. Only chastity can. To get out of the difficulty, Solovyov invokes an «inner» (spiritual?) procreation different from an «outer» procreation. But it does not make things clearer. It seems that, in the last year of his life, Solovyov abandoned that spiritual maximalism, as is proved a contrario by the character of the Prince in «Three Conversations», who is both a celibate spiritualist and a precursor of the Antichrist.

This article explores the differences in the understanding of the integral, comprehensive perception of the human being, particularly the condition described as love and the forms thereof. In doing so, it considers two major philosophical concepts aspiring to integrity, which were formulated in differing cultural contexts: the concept of love proposed by Vladimir Solovyov, rooted in the tradition of the Orthodox Church, and the contemporary, personalistic concept of Karol Wojtyla (John Paul II), formulated in the context of Catholic culture in his works Love and Responsibility (1960), Man and Woman He Created Them: A Theology of the Body (1984). In order to facilitate a comprehensive dialogue between these ideas, a third one is also discussed, i.e. the most contemporary depiction of love, also aspiring to be a complete description thereof, rooted in the tradition of the empirical science of social psychology (R. Sternberg, B. Vojcishke). The conducted analysis leads to the conclusion that the psychological concept of love proposed by R. Sternberg and B. Vojcishke is merely quasi-integral, while the truly integral, personalistic concepts of the human being (and love) offered by Vladimir Solovyov and Karol Wojtyla reveal certain methodological and doctrinal differences that prove impossible to overcome. What they do share is a Christian attempt to provide a positive depiction of human sensuality and sex drive, which constitute the primary foundations for the existence of the person in relationship. This positive description of erotic attraction, which, however, must be controlled by reason and will, is still innovative in Christian thought. Therefore, at a time of departure from Christianity, we propose to intensify research in this field, so that the presented concepts are more attractive for philosophical thinking about love.
A comparative analysis of the philosophical foundations of the teachings on love by Maximus the Confessor and Vladimir Solovyov is presented utilizing the principles of source analysis, comparative philosophical study, and the historico-genetic method. The case is made for the relevance of this research topic, due to the lack of special studies on the reception of Maximus the Confessor's doctrine of the love in the works of Vladimir Solovyov. An analysis is given of the extent to which V.V. Vysheslavtseva, K.V. Mochulsky, G.V. Florovsky, A.F. Loseva, S.S. Averintseva, V.M. Lurie, I.B. Benevich, A.I. Sidorova knew of the the problem. The focus is also on the works of foreign authors – H.U. von Balthazar, M.-J. Guillau, D.D. Kornblatt, R.F. Gustafson, E.V. Borisova, J.-K. Larcher, Ts. Angelova, J. Sutton, J. Krasicki, O. Smith – which show a genetic affinity between the teachings of Maximus the Confessor and Vladimir Solovyov. This article also takes up the main sources that reveal the content of the concepts of love in Maximus the Confessor and Vladimir Solovyov. Also taken up here is the extent of the Russian philosopher's acquaintance with the works and heritage of St. Maximus and Solovyov's assessment of his place and role in the patristic heritage. We find the focus of attention of modern scholars to be on the epistemological and ethical aspects of love as found in the works of the Byzantine thinker. This article also notes the particular importance of studying the ontological foundations of the concepts of love that are found in Maximus the Confessor and Vladimir Solovyov.

This essay presents a description of the scholarly events commemorating the 20th anniversary of the journal "Solovyov Studies". It gives an overview of the exhibition "20 years of the journal "Solovyov Studies": 2001–2021," prepared by the editorial board of the journal together with the Library of the ISPU. It highlights a variety of the sections of the exposition and the materials presented, reflecting the development of the journal over two decades, the composition of its editorial board, including authoritative experts from Russia, Bulgaria, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Poland, the United States of America, Ukraine, and France. The reader's attention is drawn to the information about the journal's position in various ratings schemes, both domestic and foreign, and citation indices, the share of publications by foreign authors and their geographical location, as well as the number of journal-views over the past five years. The article shows the role of scientific communications in the development of the journal, Information is given on the participation of the editorial board in international scientific events, on publications devoted to the journal and its presentations in Russian and foreign publications, universities and research centers. The article describes the Solovyov seminar's cultural and student projects, which received substantial content and information support from "Solovyov Studies". The level of interest of the scientific community in the journal is also noted.
В статье представлен анализ любовной лирики Ивана Елагина, - эмигранта второй волны. Нами рассмотрены две ипостаси любви, четко выделяющиеся в поэзии Ивана Елагина, - духовная и телесная. Достаточно внимания уделено и образам реальных женщин, которые оставили свой след в жизни и поэзии Ивана Елагина, которым посвящены многие стихотворения поэта. Но прежде всего автора статьи интересует соотношение образа лирического героя с биографией поэта, а также раскрытие глубоко личной темы с помощью поэтических образов, заимствованных из военной и насильственной лексики, что является следствием влияния катастрофичности ХХ века на мироощущение поэта. Именно в этом мы усматриваем своеобразие поэзии Ивана Елагина. ; The article presents the analysis of the love poetry of Ivan Elagin, the second immigrant wave's author. We have considered two forms of love, clearly stands out in the poetry of Ivan Elagin, spiritual and bodily. Enough attention paid to images of real women who left their sign on the life and poetry of Ivan Elagin, to whom his many verses dedicated. Above all the author is interested in the relationship of the character of lyric hero with the biography of the poet and the disclosure of deeply personal topics with poetic images borrowed from military and violent language, which is a consequence of the catastrophic twentieth century on the attitude of the poet. In this we see the originality of the poetry of Ivan Elagin.
В статье анализируются пословицы о любви, выражающие сравнение, в русском и шведском языках. Для выявления сходств и различий в данной тематической группе единиц исследуются структурные модели пословиц, приводится их классификация в двух языках, выделяются наиболее характерные для каждого языка типы пословичных структур. Проводится анализ образности пословиц, выражаемых ментальных установок, характерных уподоблений и оппозиций. В результате проведенного сопоставительного лингвокультурологического анализа делаются выводы о сходствах и различиях между пословицами русского и шведского языков. Сходства заключаются в наличии совпадающих типов структурных моделей, доминировании образов огня и пожара, использовании наименований хозяйственно-бытовых реалий. Различия обусловлены преобладанием в русских пословичных моделях предложений тождества, а в шведских - логической рядоположенности субъектов сравнения, вербализацией разных ментальных установок, наличием большего числа наименований абстрактных понятий в русских пословицах, особой выделенности братской любви и любви холостого человека в русских единицах и любви по принуждению в шведских пословицах. Перспектива продолжения данного исследования видится в анализе других тематических групп пословиц сравнительной семантики, что позволит сделать более полные выводы об отражении в них культурно-языковых особенностей. The article analyzes the proverbs about love expressing comparison in Russian and Swedish. To identify similarities and differences in this thematic group of units, the structural models of proverbs are studied, their classification in two languages is given, and the types of proverb structures most characteristic of each language are identified. The authors analyzed the figurativeness of proverbs, expressed mental attitudes, characteristic similes and oppositions. As a result of the comparative linguoculturological analysis, there have been drawn the conclusions about the similarities and differences between the proverbs of the Russian and Swedish languages. The similarities lie in the presence of matching types of structural models, dominance of the image of fire, use of names of household realities. The differences are due to the predominance of identity sentences in Russian proverbial models, and the logical juxtaposition of subjects of comparison in Swedish ones, verbalization of different mental attitudes, presence of a larger number of abstract concepts in Russian proverbs, special emphasis on brotherly love and the love of a single person in Russian units and love under compulsion in Swedish proverbs. The prospect of continuing this study is seen in the analysis of other thematic groups of proverbs with comparative semantics, which will make it possible to draw more complete conclusions about the reflection of cultural and linguistic features in them.
Unter den Genre-Konzepten der Liebe, die sich in der russischen Poesie des 18. Jahrhunderts entwickelt haben (erotiko-politischer Mythos über die Liebesbeziehungen der Herrscher – epithalamische Ode; Triumph des Körpers und der Physiologie – priapische Ode; Hedonismus – anakreontische Ode), nimmt die historiosophische Ode einen besonderen Platz ein. Einer der Vertreter dieses Genres – "Das Reich der universellen Liebe" von S. S. Bobrow – versucht es, Eros und Geschichte zu verbinden. Ideen des Dichters-Freimaurers Bobrow über den Ursprung der Liebe gehen auf Mythen verschiedener Genese zurück. Eine andere Idee von Bobrov war, dass Liebe Licht und Harmonie in die unbelebte Natur bringt, während die lebendige Natur in seiner Gänze dem Gesetz der Liebe – einem Gesetz der Fortsetzung des Lebens untergeordnet ist. Letzten Endes erscheint die Liebe als harmonisierender kosmischer Kraft in Bobrows historiosophischer Ode. ; Among the genre concepts of Love formed in the poetry of the 18th century (erotic-political myth about the love of monarchs in an epithalamic ode; triumph of flesh and physiology in priapic ode; hedonism in anacreontic ode) aspecial place is occupied by the concept of historiosophical ode. In one of the works of this genre – «The Kingdom of Total Love» by S. S. Bobrov – an attempt was made to combine Eros and History. The ideas of Bobrov, a freemason poet, about the origin of Love go back to the myths of various genesis. Another idea was that Love brings light and harmony to non-living nature, and living nature is completely submitted to the Law of Love – the Law of the continuation of Life. In general, Love appears in Bobrov's historiosophical ode as a harmonizing cosmic force. ; Среди сформировавшихся в поэзии XVIII века жанровых концепций любви (эротико-политический миф о любви монархов в эпиталамической оде; торжество плоти и физиологии в приапической оде; гедонизм в анакреонтической оде) особое место занимает концепция историософской оды. В одном из произведений этого жанра – «Царстве всеобщей любви» С. С. Боброва – предпринята попытка соединить Эрос и Историю. Идеи Боброва, поэта-масона, о происхождении любви восходят к мифам разного генезиса. Другой бобровской идеей была та, что любовь вносит в неживую природу свет и гармонию, а природа живая целиком и полностью подчинена закону любви – закону продолжения жизни. В целом любовь предстает в историософской оде Боброва как гармонизирующая космическая сила.
This article is a continuation of the interpretation of F.M. Dostoevsky's novel "Crime and Punishment". A detailed analysis of the central episode of the novel, Raskolnikov's visit to Sonya Marmeladova, Is here offered, and, as a result, many hidden allusions to the story of Jesus Christ are revealed. Attention is drawn to the dual meaning of Raskolnikov's statements about the need to gain power over the world: this is either material power, based on the laws of the evil world (in imitation of Napoleon), or spiritual power, canceling the laws of the world (in imitation of Christ), which includes serving people and accepting suffering for everyone. It is proved that all the mysterious and incomprehensible details of the narration receive a natural explanation when the Gnostic myth of the salvation of the world through the love union (sizigiya) of Jesus Christ and Sophia is put at the basis of the symbolic plan of the novel. This connection takes place in the epilogue of the novel, where the symbolic plan completely prevails over the realistic, which allows to explain the change in the style of the narrative, which was paid attention to by many researchers.
This paper offers an overview of the perception of work and the evaluation of the personality of 19th century German poet Georg Herwegh. The research demonstrates that the character of perception is determined by the cultural and historical context in the receiving culture, and it is even more so with political poetry that is based on the rhetoric of spiritual edification. The analysis is made with reference to previously unstudied materials, namely, marks and notes from the archive of V. A. Zhukovsky made on the pages of Herwegh's most popular book. On the basis of this material the authors conclude that this period was characterised by the initial attempt to represent Herwegh and his poetry within the framework of the history of German literature from its emergence to the mid-19th century. The second period of Russian authors' reference to his poetry was dominated by the appearance in Russia of the ideological tonality typical of the political poems that won the German poet his fame. The beginning of this period was the post-revolutionary decade of the 1820s. Russian literature specially turned to Herwegh's legacy, thus marking a new stage of perception by publishing Selected Poems, a new voluminous anthology of translations of his works, as well as a number of literary studies. A new burst of attention began between 2009 and 2013 when numerous articles on the relationship between the Herzens and Herwegh were published. Post-Soviet Russian scholars have examined the controversial personality of the German author through a lens which has brought new traits to the fore: the love triangle between Herwegh and the Herzens which was the main prototype of the conflict in Herzen's My Past and Thoughts. The paradigmatic shift in the perception of the German poet connected with the change from the textual to the biographic discourse is directly reflected in Russian mass literary culture. ; Рассматривается динамика восприятия и трактовки личности и наследия немецкого поэта XIX в. Георга Гервега в России. Исследование вопроса показывает, что характер рецепции определялся культурно-исторической ситуацией в принимающей культуре, особенно в политической поэзии, которая основана на риторике духовного назидания. В научный оборот впервые вводится материал помет и автографов из архива Василия Андреевича Жуковского на страницах издания самой популярной книги Гервега. На основании данного материала выдвигается положение о том, что в начальный период восприятия поэзия Гервега осмыслялась только в контексте немецкой литературы от ее начала до середины XIX в., и ее рассмотрение давало материал для истории немецкой литературы. Второй этап активного обращения отечественной словесности к его наследию связан с приходом и воцарением в России того идейного пафоса, который был характерен для политических стихов, определивших скандальную популярность немецкого поэта. Начало этого периода связано с послереволюционным десятилетием 1820-х гг. Русская литература обратилась к наследию Гервега специально, обозначив новый этап рецепции крупной антологией свежих переводов его стихов «Избранное» и рядом литературоведческих трудов. Новый всплеск внимания к Гервегу в истории русской литературы и гуманитарной мысли ознаменовался выходом в 2009–2013 гг. сразу нескольких работ, посвященных отношениям немецкого поэта с А. И. Герценом и его супругой Натали. В постсоветской русистике неоднозначная и неординарная личность немецкого поэта приобрела новые черты, внимание сосредоточилось на любовном треугольнике Герцены – Гервег, послужившем главным прототипом конфликта для «Былого и дум». Парадигматический слом в осмыслении фигуры немецкого поэта, связанный со сменой текстуального дискурса на биографический, напрямую отразился и в русской массовой словесной культуре.
Статья посвящена изучению лингвостилистических особенностей вербализации концепта «любовь» в романе Анны Бернс «Молочник». Авторами отмечается возрастающая значимость исследований в области дискурс-анализа, позволяющего изучить текст не как застывшее статическое образование, а как динамичный и развивающийся языковой продукт. Также обращается внимание на важность изучения концептуального содержания дискурсивного полотна художественного текста как отражения культурных, национальных и личностно-авторских особенностей. По мнению исследователей, являясь одним из основных продуктов когниции, концепт служит богатым материалом о состоянии культуры различных этносов. В статье описываются различные подходы к структуре проведения дискурс-анализа, основными положениями которого, как считает Т. А. ван Дейк, выступают контекстуальность, динамичность и коммуникативный характер. Авторами статьи кратко рассматриваются различные принципы и подходы к классификации концептов. Особое внимание уделяется художественному концепту, обладающему безграничным потенциалом, обусловленным его образностью и символичностью. Проведенный концептуальный анализ материала исследования позволил сделать вывод, что объективизация любви как аксиологического концепта в романе «Молочник» раскрывает особенности ценностных ориентиров того времени, выступая своего рода лакмусовой бумажкой. Основными средствами вербализации исследуемого концепта в анализируемом романе выступают лексема прямой номинации "love" и ее производные, а также языковые единицы, входящие в ее ассоциативное поле. The article is devoted to the study of linguistic and stylistic features of verbalization of the concept of love in the novel "Milkman" by Anna Burns. This paper notes the increasing importance of research in the field of discourse analysis, which allows us to study the text not as a frozen static formation, but as a dynamic and developing language product. The importance of studying the conceptual content of the discursive canvas of a literary text as a reflection of cultural, national and personal-authorial features is also noted. According to the researchers, being one of the main products of cognition, the concept serves as a rich material about the state of culture of various ethnic groups. The article describes various approaches to the structure of discourse analysis, the main points of which, according to T. A. van Dijk, are contextuality, dynamism and communicative nature. The authors of the article briefly discuss various principles and approaches to the classification of concepts. Special attention is paid to the artistic concept, which has unlimited potential due to its imagery and symbolism. The conducted conceptual analysis of the research material allowed us to conclude that the objectification of love as an axiological concept in the novel "Milkman" reveals the features of the value orientations of that time, acting as a kind of litmus test. The main means of verbalization of the concept under study in the analyzed novel are the lexeme of the direct nomination "love" and its derivatives, as well as the linguistic units included in its associative field.
В этой статье мы рассмотрим права человека и на их примере мы докажем, что любовь действительно лежит в основе закона. Более того, мы рассмотрели права человека с позиций любви, и оказалось, что они действительно являются очень успешным законодательным решением в соответствии с позициями любви, а также они настоящая победа гуманизма, поскольку они действительно глубоко выражают любовь к человеку в своей идее и своих правах. ; In this article we will consider human rights and on their example we will prove that love does really lie in the grounds of the law, moreover, we looked at human rights from the positions of the love and it turned out that they really are a very successful legislative decision according to the positions of love and also they turned to be a real victory of humanism as they really deeply express love to a human being in their idea and their rights. Relevance: In the modern society, where on the one hand rules the values of understanding, kindness and democracy, however the wars still continue, rises the frequency of terrorism, the freedom and rights of people in particular societies are oppressed. Thus we can conclude that it is necessary to find the universal method and fundament for solving these problems, thereby to lead the society to the consistency and to realization of the higher aims. Moreover, because the noted problems still exist, we can conclude that the previous proposed philosophical solutions are not enough and it is necessary to find something different. Thus our aim is, having defined love to be the ground of the law, suggest the love to be used consciously in the legislative activity, maybe with further study and development of this concept. Introduction: Human rights are very important and it is a new subject in the Philosophy of the law, but it hasn't been studied enough yet. Of course the most art of the optimists of the philosophy of the law think that human rights and liberal democratic state have high value and that they are a real achievement of world history. Novelty: In this article we try to give the interpretation of the grounds of the moral and thus of the law, as it is. According to this, having found those fundaments, we decided that human rights could be a good example, because it is a contemporary new phenomenon in the field of the law and thus this example should be more striking and obvious for us. Targets and goals: In this article we want to prove and to note that love is the ground of the law. And the aim of the article is that this achievement should be used is legislation. The goals are: to prove on the example of human rights that the fundament of the law is the love; to check connection of humanism, love and genesis of the human rights; and to suggest an interesting theological concept of the law.
The paper attempts to prove that when considering the genre premises of V. Mayakovsky's poem and V. Shklovsky's novel, the formalist theory of convergence is no less effective than Bakhtin's concept of genre memory. A comparative analysis of two texts created at the same time sheds light on the artistic features of each. Both the poem and the novel are 'literature of exile'; both works are a dedication to the lady of the heart; in both cases, the structure of a courtly romance or a ballad in honor of the beloved is recreated. It is emphasized that the Berlin Zoo ('Zoo') was destined to play a special role in the creation of two works. At the same time, the image of the zoo becomes one of the expanded metaphors in the work of Mayakovsky, and not Shklovsky, while for the latter the most important reference point is V. Khlebnikov's Zverinets. It is suggested that the 'adult' literature of the 1920s can draw on the achievements of literature for children. The attitude towards dialogue with tradition is manifested in the works of Shklovsky and Mayakovsky precisely in the space of playing with genre models, as well as in the movement from the verbal text to the book as an indivisible whole, which is relevant for the avant-garde. The idea of synthesis of arts manifests itself in different ways in the works of Mayakovsky and Shklovsky: the former is distinguished by an orientation towards the collage technique, which involves playing with textures, while for the latter, 'newspaper montage' is important. The blurring of the boundaries between fiction and document, characteristic of LEF, also determines the genre specificity of both the poem and the novel.
Патриотическое воспитание - важнейшая государственная проблема. Решение данной проблемы связано с необходимостью поиска новых путей и обобщения положительного исторического опыта. В статье рассматривается советский опыт формирования коннотативно положительного образа Родины через пионерскую песню. Отмечается, что задачи патриотического воспитания эффективно решались через пионерскую и комсомольскую организации благодаря социальной иерархии и "идеологической семье" общественных организаций. В деле патриотического воспитания значительное место отводится языковому образованию. ; Patriotic education is the most important state problem. The solution to this problem is related to the need to find new ways and generalize positive historical experience. The article examines the Soviet experience of forming a connotatively positive image of the Motherland through a pioneer song. It is noted that the tasks of patriotic upbringing were effectively solved through the Pioneer and Komsomol organizations due to the social hierarchy and the "ideological family" of public organizations. In the matter of patriotic upbringing, a significant place is given to linguistic education.
