(En) ; Secondary forests developing on agricultural land after it is abandoned, or as the fallow period in systems of subsistence agriculture, are an increasingly important component of the forest resources of the tropics. They fix and store carbon and may contribute to the alleviation of global warming, they are refuges for biodiversity in agricultural landscapes, and they are low-cost sources of a tremendous variety of forest products. The final years of the 20th century represent an opportune time to bring together researchers concerned with biological, ecological, social/organizational, financial/economic and political aspects of secondary forests and their management, to share their experiences and opinions concerning secondary tropical forests and to contribute to the development of a forward-looking, cross-disciplinary research agenda. The conference had the following objectives: 1) to summarize the state of knowledge of tropical secondary forests from the standpoint of the ecological, social and political sciences. 2) to report the most recent results of research on secondary forests from all relevant disciplines.

O artigo refere-se à análise de processos de formação continuada de profissionais educadores que atuam na gestão do ensino fundamental e educação infantil em dois municípios de estados brasileiros diferentes, sendo um do Mato Grosso do Sul e outro de São Paulo. Ambos envolveram docentes e discentes das universidades públicas dos dois estados (UNESP e UFMS), tiveram suas ações analisadas no momento em que completaram dois anos e envolveram atividades de ensino, pesquisa e extensão. O texto realiza uma introdução, expondo e analisando o contexto atual dos estudos em Administração escolar e segue com a apresentação dos referenciais teórico-metodológicos das duas práticas, evidenciando suas similaridades e especificidades. Posteriormente, analisa os resultados parciais dos trabalhos, nos âmbitos do ensino, da pesquisa e, sobretudo, das práticas cotidianas dos sujeitos envolvidos.

Diante do desafio em se adequar às constantes e rápidas transformações do mundo contemporâneo, as Instituições Federais de Ensino Superior (IFES) vem desenvolvendo novos processos de gestão frente a situação atual. Neste trabalho, destacou-se o Plano de Desenvolvimento Institucional (PDI) como instrumento de planejamento estratégico das IFES, criado pelo Decreto nº 5.773/2006. A pesquisa consistiu em uma análise documental dos PDIs da Universidade Federal do Tocantins (UFT) com o objetivo de avaliar se os PDIs da Universidade estão condizentes com as exigências legais. Através da análise, observou-se uma evolução e aperfeiçoamento na elaboração do PDI, do ponto de vista de que este deixa de ser apenas um instrumento burocrático, para se tornar um instrumento de gestão.

A Swot analysis revealed mismatches in priorities among stakeholder groups (Communities, Government and Partners). Four autonomy parameters were evaluated by 111 stakeholders using a satisfaction questionnaire. Communities and Government had similar perceptions of the autonomy of communities to develop CFM, while Partners were pessimistic. Stakeholders showed greater satisfaction with communities' social organization than with their business management ability. Licensing, operational tools and administrative knowledge were perceived as bottlenecks for community enterprises. Evaluation programs of research institutions began to be established in Europe in the late 70's, concerning the assessment of science and technology activity. In the geoscientific world this enterprise took place in the 1990's, with the implementation of evaluation processes in some national geological surveys (Australian Geological Survey Organization, Geological Survey of Canada, Council for Geoscience - South Africa, Geological Survey of Finland). Among the results of these evaluation/review processes it has been common to recommend the establishment or strengthening of Advisory Councils or Advisory Committees, made up of representatives from industry, academia and governmental agencies. On the trail of the Geological Surveys evaluation process, partnership national geological mapping programs with regional geological surveys, having customers, universities and industry representatives as advisory has also been stimulated. The National Geoscience Mapping Accord in Australia (1990), the National Geoscience Mapping Program in Canada (1991), and National Cooperative Geological Mapping Program in United States (1992) are examples of the government policies in wake of evaluation process. Nevertheless, it is important to say that institutional staff has not accepted evaluation with tranquillity or understood it as an instrument of management. Objective: to analyze the management of solid waste from Primary Health Care. Method: this is a qualitative, descriptive, exploratory, observational study. Nine of the ten Family Health Units of Primary Health Care were observed. Non-participant observation was used as a data collection technique through a script. For data treatment and analysis, descriptive analysis was used. Results: it was pointed out that the solid waste management in the PHC of the municipality in question is not in accordance with the Brazilian legislation. Conclusion: it is essential that there are permanent education actions on waste management in order to enable nurses and their staff to be instrumental in effectively designing and implementing the PGRSS. Conclusão: torna-se imprescindível que haja ações de educação permanente sobre o gerenciamento dos resíduos com o intuito de que os enfermeiros e sua equipe sejam instrumentalizados a elaborar e implementar, com eficiência, o PGRSS. Introduction: In order to keep up with the demands of contemporary times, the educational programs of medical courses should be revised. It would be interesting that, in addition to technical teachings, the curriculum included non-technical medicine precepts, which would allow doctors to perform better in their profession, precept reinforced by governmental resolution1, and have a rewarding medical career. Method: Disciplines related to entrepreneurship offered in eighteen (18) among the country's twenty (20) main medical courses in the country were reviewed, aiming to detect the inclusion of disciplines that benefit the management of health services. Results: Of the 18 objects of the analysis, only eight (8) offered subjects in this area, totalizing twenty-eight (28) subjects, seven (7) of which are compulsory and twenty-one, (21) electives. The lack of content standardization was also verified in those courses that already teach such subjects, which makes it difficult to create norms or resolutions by the Ministry of Education (MEC) or by the Federal Council of Medicine (CFM) that would include, in fact, these contents in the curriculum. Conclusion: The teaching of management and entrepreneurship in the country, therefore, does not cover the entire national territory and, when it is present, fails to fully contemplate important precepts of the contemporary medical formation. ; Introdução: Para acompanhar as exigências da contemporaneidade, os programas pedagógicos, os quais contém as exigências curriculares, dos cursos de medicina deveriam ser revistos. Seria interessante que, além dos ensinamentos técnicos, a matriz curricular incluísse preceitos não técnicos, também, do ponto de vista da medicina, que permitam aos médicos melhor desempenho na profissão, conforme reforçado por Diretriz governamental21, e uma carreira médica que se estenda para além da medicina. Método: Realizou-se uma análise das disciplinas relacionadas à gestão ofertadas em dezoito (18) dentre os vinte (20) principais cursos de medicina do país, segundo o Ranking Universitário da Folha 2019, com o objetivo de observar a inserção de disciplinas que beneficiem a gestão de serviços de saúde. Resultados: Dos 18 objetos de análise, apenas oito (8) ofertavam matérias nessa área, totalizando vinte e oito (28) disciplinas, sendo sete (7) obrigatórias e vinte e uma (21) eletivas. Verificou-se, ainda, a falta de padronização de conteúdo naquelas que já ministram tais disciplinas, o que dificulta a criação de normas ou resoluções pelo Ministério da Educação (MEC) ou pelo Conselho Federal de Medicina (CFM) que incluam, de fato, esses conteúdos nas grades curriculares. Conclusão: O ensino de gestão e de empreendedorismo no país, então, não contempla a totalidade do território nacional e, quando presente, não consegue contemplar plenamente preceitos importantes à formação acadêmica do médico contemporâneo.

The Brazilian electricity sector has undergone major structural changes since 1995, which marked the start of privatization, requiring companies to adopt political strategies, particularly aimed at influencing regulations. These strategies are carried out through actions that aim to maximize returns or mitigate losses derived from the regulatory environment. The objective of this article is to present the result of applying an analytic framework for management of corporate political strategies (MCPS) in the electricity distribution company Light. The MCPS framework is composed of a model, method and reference lists and was developed to help the strategic management efforts of companies in regulated sectors, considering their alliances. This application brought contributions to the theoretical construction of strategic management of firms subject to regulation and provided insights for better strategic management of Light. ; O setor de energia elétrica brasileiro foi impactado por mudanças estruturais a partir de 1995, exigindo das empresas estratégias políticas empresariais, particularmente aquelas voltadas à regulação. Tais estratégias são conjuntos de ações que as empresas planejam e executam com o propósito de maximizar retornos ou de mitigar perdas derivadas do ambiente regulatório. O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar o resultado da aplicação do arcabouço analítico para Gestão de Estratégias Políticas Empresariais (Gepe) na distribuidora de energia elétrica Light. O Gepe é composto de modelo, de metodologia e de listas de referência, e é desenvolvido para auxiliar a gestão estratégica de empresas em indústrias reguladas, considerando-se suas alianças. Essa aplicação trouxe contribuições à construção teórica da gestão estratégica de empresas em setores regulados einsightspara a gestão estratégica da Light.

O objetivo deste artigo é apresentar a experiência de EAD da disciplina 'Escola, Gestão e Cultura' no 'Curso de Especialização em Gestão Educacional' (CEGE) oferecido pela Faculdade de Educação da Unicamp. A proposta de EAD desta disciplina é trabalhar com educação visual e produção de narrativas de professores. Utilizamos as ferramentas de comunicação do ambiente virtual TelEduc para implementar uma dinâmica pedagógica assincrônica de trabalho docente. Esta dinâmica se apresenta como alternativa à lógica de concomitância entre parte presencial e parte em EAD do CEGE. Os resultados apresentados permitem-nos refletir sobre as potencialidades pedagógicas das tecnologias de informação e comunicação e alguns posicionamentos em relação ao trabalho docente em EAD.

Objectives: Analyze how parents recognize pain on their premature newborn children, Obtain knowledge about painful
behavioral signs of the premature newborn recognized on them by their parents and describe the care practiced by
them to minimize the pain of their premature child. Method: Qualitative study. Data collection instrument was the
semi-structured interview with nine parents of premature newborns in a neonatal intensive care unit of a university
hospital in Rio de Janeiro, it was applied between August and September 2011. Results: The analysis of thematic
content was chosen as our data analysis, from this analysis five (5) categories were originated: The crying; Perception
of body changes; The perception of face alterations; The perception of emotional alterations and Care performance to
minimize pain. Conclusions: It was concluded that parents recognize signs of painful behavior of their premature
newborn, identifying them by body, facial and emotional changes.

RESUMOObjetivo: analisar o processo de gestão em Enfermagem de recursos humanos, na Estratégia Saúde da Família, na perspectiva de enfermeiros. Método: trata-se de estudo qualitativo, descritivo, realizado com enfermeiros de Unidades de Saúde da Família. Delimitou-se a amostra do estudo pela técnica de saturação, sendo constituída por nove enfermeiros que atuam em unidades de saúde da família. Utilizou-se, como técnica de coleta de dados, a entrevista, norteada por roteiro semiestruturado, e, como técnica de análise dos dados, a Análise de Conteúdo, na modalidade Temática. Resultados: informa-se que as atividades consideradas pelos entrevistados como parte da gestão de recursos humanos foram: a reunião em equipe; a delegação de atividades; o trabalho em equipe; o planejamento; a coordenação; a educação permanente e a supervisão. Mostra-se que as estratégias apontadas pelos enfermeiros na delegação de atividades foram o diálogo, a reunião em equipe e a escuta qualificada. Ressalta-se que, quanto aos tipos de líderes referidos, apontam-se o articulador, o liberal, o integrativo e o democrático. Conclusão: conclui-se que os enfermeiros demonstraram diversas fragilidades na gestão de recursos humanos na Atenção Primária à Saúde, o que ressalta a necessidade urgente de maior qualificação dos mesmos para as práticas gerenciais. It is shown that the strategies pointed out by the nurses in the delegation of activities were the dialogue, the team meeting and qualified listening. It should be emphasized that, in relation to the types of leaders mentioned, the articulator, the liberal, the integrative and the democratic are pointed out. Conclusion: it was concluded that the nurses demonstrated several weaknesses in the management of human resources in Primary Health Care, which highlights the urgent need to better qualify them for managerial practices. Método: se trata de un estudio cualitativo, descriptivo, realizado con enfermeros de Unidades de Salud de la Familia. Se delimitó la muestra del estudio por la técnica de saturación, constituida por nueve enfermeros que actúan en unidades de salud de la familia. Se utilizó, como técnica de recolección de datos, la entrevista, guiada por guión semiestructurado, y, como técnica de análisis de los datos, el Análisis de Contenido, en la modalidad Temática. Resultados: se informa que las actividades consideradas por los entrevistados como parte de la gestión de recursos humanos fueron: la reunión en equipo; la delegación de actividades; el trabajo en equipo; la planificación; la coordinación; la educación permanente y la supervisión. Se muestra que las estrategias apuntadas por los enfermeros en la delegación de actividades fueron el diálogo, la reunión en equipo y la escucha calificada. Se resalta que, en cuanto a los tipos de líderes referidos, se apunta el articulador, lo liberal, lo integrativo y lo democrático. Conclusión: se concluye que los enfermeros demostraron diversas fragilidades en la gestión de recursos humanos en la Atención Primaria a la Salud, lo que resalta la necesidad urgente de mayor calificación de los mismos para las prácticas gerenciales. Este artigo traz uma releitura do texto "Reflexões sobre o turismo e a resiliência", publicado nos Anais do Seminário ANPTUR 2016, desta vez incluindo reflexões acerca da pandemia da Covid-19 para o turismo. O objetivo foi o de realizar um levantamento teórico, por meio da pesquisa bibliográfica e eletrônica, especialmente na base de periódicos CAPES e na intenção de encontrar as origens do termo resiliência, seus conceitos, características e metodologias, visando ponderar sobre a sua relação/aplicação no campo do planejamento e gestão turística. Meditou-se, também, sobre o tema em tempos de crises e eventos adversos na saúde, ambientais, econômicos, políticos, sociais, religiosos e de relações entre pessoas. Por conta disso, discutiu-se a "resiliência" como abordagem e como guia orientativo de ações gerenciais para o turismo, pois ela manifesta-se como uma opção que figura em pauta neste texto ensaístico de natureza reflexiva. ; This article re-reads the text "Reflections on tourism and resilience", published in the ANPTUR 2016 Seminar Proceedings, this time including reflections on the Covid-19 pandemic for tourism. The aim was to carry out a theoretical survey, through bibliographic and electronic research, especially on the basis of CAPES journals and the intention of finding the origins of the term resilience, its concepts, characteristics and methodologies, in order to consider its relationship/application in the field of tourism planning and management. It has also been meditated on the subject in times of crises and adverse events in health, environmental, economic, political, social, religious and relationships among people. Because of this, "resilience" was discussed as an approach and as a guide for managerial actions for tourism, since it manifests itself as an option on the agenda of this essay text of a reflexive nature.

Purpose: This study demonstrates that sales force management capability (SFMC) is a driver to financial performance when influenced by marketing orientation. Wherefore, the researchers explore how each SFMC ́s dimension (salesforce structuring, talent management, and customer targeting) contributes on the relation between MO and financial performance. Methodology: A survey (n=223) was applied in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) companies in Brazil. Structural equation modeling allowed us to understand how the sales management forces capability ́s dimensions influence the relation between market orientation and financial performance intensity. Findings: It is demonstrated that MO influences the three SFMC capability dimensions (salesforce structuring, talent management, and customer targeting), mainly customer targeting and talent management. Furthermore, it is shown that the relation between MO and financial performance is mediated by SFMC capability. Theoretical contributions: This study contributes to the marketing literature by showing that MO may be applied jointly to SFMC in order to improve performance. Furthermore, it is demonstrated that SFMC to enhance financial performance. Consequently, this study promotes a better understanding of the process in which MO may be related to SFMC, and how each specific dimension of SFMC influences financial performance. Practical contributions: Marketing managers and sales managers should sharing information about the market to achieve better financial results and competitive advantage. Also, practitioners should use market information strategically to segmenting and positioning sales force. In addition to customers, competitors, and environmental forces, petitioners should make an effort to manage their organizational resources better. Firms should use market information to improve performance and engage marketing managers to support sales investment.
