Within a broad and articulated political action of medieval peasant society, the essay aims to identify the specific dynamics relating to Italy in the fourteenth and fifteenth centuries. Through an analysis of the domains of action related to justice, tax collection, frontiers, churches, new villages and clienteles, a specific peasant focus is outlined in the search for effective mediation tools between local society and princely powers.
In a society characterized by the intermingling or many and a different cultures, two options are open to the policy-makers: multiculturalism, for which every culture is, to say, like an island segregated from the others cultures and commanding an exclusive identification on the part of its members; and interculturalism, which allows for more flexible and dynamic relations between cultures, each of them been so thought as an integral part of a wider and inclusive setting of common beliefs and values. In the framework of the intercultural politics the problem arises of the ways in which an effective network of relationships between cultures may be built in order to promote their integration, i.e. the problem of intercultural mediation. The essay deals with the role that the key figure (that of the intercultural mediator) should play in this process. He should possess a high degree of education and professionalism in order to operate according to effective universalistic standards and promote the integration of immigrants. This implies that his recruitment must be completely independent of any origin or ethno-cultural affiliation. To date, at the national level the figure of the mediator has not been regulated and the whole sector is mostly managed by social cooperatives, cultural associations or immigrants' associations that offer their services to the institutions with positive effects, but also with inevitable negative implications.

; The entry and presence in Italy of migrants has always been a topic of discussion between those who consider it right to promote adequate reception and those who argue the opposite. This contribution aims to provide a picture of the possible legal access channels to the E.U. for migrants and refugees, with particular attention to legal access to Italy. Since 2014 the Italian Government has demonstrated an attempt to develop a resettlement programme, in order to give migrants appropriate protection. At present, through the network of humanitarian corridors, under the coordination of Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration of the Ministry of the Interior, pathways to reception and socio-cultural accompanying are provided for migrants who live in Italy legally. From a pedagogical point of view and an intercultural perspective, it is necessary to focus on these new forms of reception and inclusion of migrants, as they represent a way to reduce irregularities generated by the phenomenon of immigration itself.

The Mandatory Administrative Complaint-Mediation Filter, introduced by the Italian legislator in art. 17 bis of Legislative Decree 546/92, finds precedents not only in Europe, between western civil law countries closer to the Italian legal tradition but also in other continents. Among the out-of-court settlements systems for managing disputes adopted in other European jurisdictions, it shall pay attention on those applied in France, Germany and Spain. In all three countries there is a compulsory administrative phase before taking a legal action, applicable to the generality of tax disputes, irrespective of the value of the dispute. Among the precedents in other continents, attention will be given to South American systems, with specific regard to Uruguayan and Peruvian.

The paper illustrates the importance of legal language analysis for the study and comparison of legal systems with the support of methods and techniques offered by legal informatics. The author explains the first results of the activity of designing and implementing a Glossary and Thesaurus for family mediation, a composite and strongly interdisciplinary subject between psychology and law. In particular, the first considerations from the analysis of the data are referred to the international and European legislation and to the two Italian and Maltese legal system.

The unitary approach, developed in the Prison Notebooks, to the study of ideology, superstructures and language can be considered one of the most important and original contributions made by Gramsci to Marxist theory. With the definition of the gnoseological function of the superstructures/ideologies, and of the intrinsic link between ideology and language, Gramsci establishes a network of relations between "truth" and "politics", with the mediation of the "translatability of languages", which redefines in a substantial way both these spheres and, in this way, also the notion of "universality".Keywords: Ideology, superstructures, language, translatability of languages.

The paper aims at critically discussing some key-issues raised by Riccardo Fanciullacci's last book on The Ethical Experience. After an introduction that provides an overview of the book's most relevant gains and its argumentative structure, the second section investigates the constitutive features of sociability and develops the relationship between individual, society, and culture; the third section applies this relationship to the specific case of consumption goods and their role of cultural mediation; finally, the last section moves to the political dimension that is mentioned in the book, but still in need of further articulation.

The article analyses the fundamental traits of Italian liberalism in the second half of the 19th century. Based on the unique understanding and welding together of different theoretical models (English, French, German), Italian liberalism has been building a "politics of mediation", directly connected to the new parameters of the political-social sciences. The main goal is that of neutralising political conflict, in its more extreme manifestations, with respect to a liberal order that seeks to preserve and defend itself from any risk that might creep into the fabric of democracy.
The reception of German culture in Italy, starting from the mid-eighteenth century, takes shape within an increasingly ramified network of mediators and mediation structures. Academies, universities, publishing houses and magazines mark the perimeter within which the activity of intellectuals animated by multiple interests unfolds, linked to a transnational conception of their profession and often able to intercept early tendencies and movements still at an initial state, creating the conditions for their incardination into Italian culture. A circulation of ideas that accompanies the development of social and political relations between the two countries, often providing incisive interpretation tools for tensions, conflicts and rapprochements.

To re-start the fabric that curates cultural heritage, this essay reflects on strategic interests, relationships and intervention models. After two crises (the financial and the Covid19 pandemic) and the digital revolution, we need a new mediation between the great potential of content and the public who does not access it. It will be a much more connective and participatory mediation, aimed at recomposing the dichotomous-oppositional logic, to bring about a syntesis and bring together humanities, science and technology. Public history is a strategic tool for cultural oriented policies so that local communities can recognise themselves in their cultural landscape. In practice, more space for soft skills, methods and a serious effort to represent the past as a strong relationship among the living, and between two presents: of yesterday and of today.

The article explores the political space from the perspective of contemporary cities and political subjectification within them. Today the Right to the City is mainly configured as a right to transform urban spaces, adapting them to plural and different life forms. A plurality of conscious and responsible political subjects occupies and crosses the urban space, often changing sign and direction of sedimented normative representations. We can say that these forms of political subjectification exceed the incl usion/exclusion dialectics, establishing themselves into a selective and differential logic of inclusion. A logic that works both through strategies of adaptation and resistance, of mediation and counter conduct. containing elements of conflict.
