Contemporary states are undergoing a process of rapid transformation that encumbers their functioning & sustains their state of crisis. Their external sovereignty is undoubtedly on the wane, in relation to both global economic actors & transnational & supranational political structures. Internally, the hierarchical functioning of government has been called into question. Although the state's share in the social product is constantly increasing, so are the demands for the state's support & regulation in various areas, resulting in a permanent fiscal crisis of the state. The author claims that the contemporary metamorphoses of the state & the prospects for its development can be understood solely by analyzing the changes in contemporary society. The industrial society, even the "service society" (Dahrendorf), is being transformed into an information & communication society, in which the key processes are the production & distribution of knowledge, while the central power resources are mechanisms of the monopolization of knowledge. The information & communication media play the central role in social & political processes. The new increase of social inequality has intensified the tendency of social desolidarization. The new level of social dynamics, mobility, complexity, & contingency requires a new type of state. The author calls it the "cooperative state" -- the state that provides for the production of essential collective goods in the cooperative process of negotiation & bargaining, in which a plethora of social actors take part. 25 References. The subject of this paper is the writing of place name adjectives in Croatian spelling books from 1892 to 2013. In Croatian spelling books place name adjectives were written in their original form until the unitarianist political intrusions into the Croatian language and Croatian orthography in 1930 and 1960. Ever since, the writing of place name adjectives has been distorted, and modern spelling books standardize it in three basic ways: a) according to their pronunciation (with transcription rules), b) in their original form, and c) in two different ways.
Riječ uredništvaNedavno je završena velika UN–ova klimatska konferencija COP26 donošenjem globalnog sporazuma "Glasgowski klimatski pakt". Ujedno su potvrđeni svi nerazriješeni elementi u mehanizmima za provođenje Pariškog sporazuma o klimatskim promjenama iz 2015. godine i dogovorena transparentnost postupaka u njegovom provođenju. U sklopu potpisane Deklaracije o korištenju šuma i zemljišta, koju je do sada podržalo preko 140 država u kojima se nalazi više od 90% svjetskih šuma, čelnici zemalja obvezali su se zajednički raditi na zaustavljanju i preokretanju gubitka šuma i degradacije zemljišta do 2030. godine.Prvi cilj konferencije odnosio se na ograničavanje povišenja globalne prosječne temperature na razinu koja je znatno niža od 2°C iznad razine u predindustrijskom razdoblju, kao i ulaganje napora u njezino ograničavanje na 1,5°C. Drugi cilj odnosio se na prilagođavanje učincima klimatskih promjena i usklađivanje financijskih tokova s razvojem otpornim na klimatske promjene. U tom cilju do 2025. godine planira se mobilizirati 100milijardi američkih dolara. Kao predvodnik u borbi protiv klimatskih promjena EU se obvezala do 2030. godine smanjiti emisiju stakleničkih plinova za najmanje 55% u odnosu na 1990. godinu.Opći je zaključak da će šume biti od vitalnoga značajenja za postizanje ciljeva u borbi protiv globalnog zatopljenja. Prema istraživanjima World Resources Institute (WRI), šume apsorbiraju 30 posto emisije ugljikovog dioksida. Iako je šuma prirodni klimatski tampon u borbi protiv globalnog zatopljenja, činjenica je da se u svijetu površina šuma i dalje ubrzano smanjuje.Na sastanku je sudjelovao i hrvatski predsjednik Vlade gospodin Andrej Plenković. Najavio je prestanak proizvodnje električne energije dobivene iz ugljena najkasnije do 2033. godine te povećanje udjela obnovljivih izvora energije u ukupnoj potrošnji na više od dvije trećine. Izrazito pohvalno je govorio o hrvatskom šumarstvu i njegovoj stoljetnoj tradiciji, što se inače od naših političara jako rijetko čuje. Jedna od aktivnosti koje Hrvatska planira u sljedećem razdoblju je i sadnja milijun dodatnih stabala godišnje do 2030. godine. Pod tim se podrazumijeva povećanje sadnje sa sadašnjih devet milijuna stabala na 10 milijuna, kako bi se anulirale emisije stakleničkih plinova koje stvaraju vozila turista prilikom dolaska u Hrvatsku. Ta njegova najava u javnosti je otvorila niz pitanja, poput onoga kakvo je trenutno stanje naših šuma, da li se one ubrzano krče, mogu li Hrvatske šume d.o.o. ispuniti ovakav ambiciozan plan i sl. Sva ta pitanja još jednom su pokazala nerazumijevanje i nepoznavanje šuma i šumarstva. Ponajprije u hrvatskom šumarstvu krčenje šuma je zabranjeno osim u propisanim slučajevima, što dokazuje i povećanje površina pod šumom. U javnosti se pošumljavanje, dakle sadnja sadnica, povezuje jedino s obnovom šuma. Stoljetna tradicija hrvatskoga šumarstva obnovu šuma temelji na prirodnoj obnovi, dok se izuzeto od toga pošumljavaju gole, neobrasle i nešumske površine, ili one šumske površine zahvaćene požarima i ostalim katastrofama na kojima prirodna regeneracija nije moguća ili iz bilo kojeg drugog razloga nije uspjela. To nažalost ne znaju ni "Briselski činovnici" kada, kao što je to bio slučaj s ledolomom u Hrvatskoj 2014. godine, kao sanaciju priznaju i financijski valoriziraju samo sadnju stabala. Uz ostalo time na uznapredovale šumske površine s klimatogenim vrstama vraćamo pionirsku vrstu i time činimo "korak unazad".Sljedeća opasnost je ograničavanje sječe, čitaj gospodarenje šumama. Koliko god to imalo smisla kao zaustavljanje krčenja šuma, u Hrvatskoj i zemljama s razvijenom šumarstvom to može imati negativne posljedice. Ograničavanje šumarskih zahvata kroz pasivno zaštićivanje šuma, preferiranje "starih šuma" i sl. negativno će se odraziti na njihovo stanje i zaustaviti proces njihove obnove. Poznato je da mlade šume najviše prirašćuju, a time i apsorbiraju najviše CO2.Drugo je pitanje kako raspolažemo s posječenom drvnom masom. Da li je dovoljno finaliziramo, da li drvo upotrebljavamo kaskadno, da li ga recikliramo ili to sve nadomještamo potrebom za novim količinama? Isto tako zapitajmo se kako i koliko drvo upotrebljavamo kao ekološki najprihvatljiviji energent. Činjenica je da sustavno još nismo savladali pridobivanje biomase iz naših šuma, a drvni pelet čiju smo proizvodnju, zahvaljujući jeftinoj sirovini, podigli na zavidnu razinu, završava pretežito u drugim zemljama, smanjujući im onečišćenja stakleničkim plinovima.Uredništvo ; EditorialThe major UN climate conference COP26 recently ended with the adoption of the global "Glasgow Climate Pact" agreement. At the same time, all unresolved elements in the mechanisms for the implementation of the 2015 Paris Agreement on Climate Change were acknowledged and the transparency of the procedures in its application was agreed upon. As part of the signed Declaration on Forests and Land Use, which has so far been supported by over 140 countries in which more than 90 % of world's forests are located, the leaders pledged to work together to "halt and reverse forest loss and land degradation" by 2030.The first objective of the conference was to limit the increase in global average temperature to a level significantly lower than 2°C above the level in the pre-industrial period, as well as to invest efforts in limiting it to 1.5°C. The second objective was to adapt to the effects of climate change and align financial flows with climate-resilient development. To this end, it is planned to mobilise 100 billion US dollars by 2025. As a leader in the fight against climate change, the EU has committed itself to reducing greenhouse gas emissions by at least 55 % by 2030 compared to 1990.The general conclusion is that forests will be vital in achieving the goals of fighting against global warming. According to research by the World Resources Institute (WRI), forests absorb 30 per cent of carbon dioxide emissions. Although the forest is a natural climate buffer in the fight against global warming, the fact is that the world's forest area continues to decline rapidly.The Conference was also attended by the Croatian Prime Minister, Mr Andrej Plenković. He announced the cessation of electricity production from coal by 2033 at the latest and an increase in the share of renewable energy sources in overall consumption to more than two thirds. He spoke highly of Croatian forestry and its century-old tradition, which is otherwise rarely heard from our politicians. One of the activities that Croatia is planning in the next period is the planting of one million additional trees per year by 2030. This means an increase in the planting from the current nine million trees to ten million in order to annul the greenhouse gas emissions generated by tourist vehicles arriving in Croatia.The Prime Minister's announcement raised a number of questions in the public, such as what the current condition of our forests is, whether they are being rapidly cut down, whether the company Croatian Forests Ltd can meet such an ambitious plan, and others. All these issues once again showed a lack of understanding and ignorance of forests and forestry. First of all, cutting down forests is prohibited in Croatian forestry, except in prescribed cases, as evidenced by the increase in forest areas. The public associate afforestation, that is, planting seedlings, only with forest regeneration. Throughout the century-long tradition of Croatian forestry, forest regeneration has been based on natural regeneration, while bare, unforested and non-forested areas are afforested, including those forest areas affected by fires and other disasters where natural regeneration is not possible or has failed for any other reason. Regrettably, the "Brussels bureaucrats" do not know this either, otherwise they would not, as was the case with ice-break in Croatia in 2014, have recognized and financially valorised only the planting of trees as a recovery measure. Among other things, by doing this we are returning the pioneer species to forest areas improved by climatogenic species, thus making a "step backwards".The next danger lies in limiting felling, (read: managing forests). As much as it makes sense to stop cutting down forests, in Croatia and countries with developed forestry it may have negative consequences. Restricting forestry operations through passive protection of forests, preferring "old forests", etc. will have a negative effect on their condition and stop the process of their regeneration. It is well known that young forests increment the most and thus absorb the highest amounts of CO2.Another question is how we dispose of the felled wood mass. Are we finalizing it sufficiently, are we cascading wood, are we recycling it, or are we replacing it all with the need for new quantities? Let us also ask ourselves in what way and in what amounts we use wood as the most environmentally friendly energy source. The fact is that we have not yet systematically mastered the extraction of biomass from our forests, while wood pellets, the production of which we have raised to an enviable level thanks to cheap raw material, end up mostly in other countries, reducing their greenhouse gas pollution.Editorial Board
Geografska imena vlastita su imena geografskih objekata. Utemeljena su u prostoru koji imenuju pa su nositelji mnogih geografskih sadržaja. Pravilnim iščitavanjem mogu objasniti i uputiti na geografske pojave i procese. Stoga u posljednjim desetljećima postaju temom geografskih istraživanja. Svrha je rada predstaviti i ocijeniti odnos hrvatskih geografa prema toponimima. Pregledom hrvatske geografske literature o toponimima izdvojilo se više aspekata proučavanja toponima – jezikoslovni i pet geografskih (kartografski, političkogeografski, historijsko-geografski, kulturno-geografski, teorijsko-metodološki) – i dva pristupa u istraživanjima toponima (toponimi kao sredstvo za identifikaciju, komunikaciju i orijentaciju i kao izvor istraživanja). Uočeno je da se u posljednjih 120 godina toponimima ozbiljnije bavilo tek desetak hrvatskih geografa, što znači da nisu prepoznati kao relevantna istraživačka tema ni kao izvor podataka u istraživanjima. Primijećeno je da se tretman toponima u posljednjih dvadesetak godina poboljšava. ; Geographical names are proper names of geographical features. They are embedded in named areas and are the bearers of geographical data. If interpreted correctly, they can properly explain and refer to geographical phenomena and processes. Therefore, they have become a topic of geographical research over the last decades. The purpose of the article is to present and evaluate the attitude of Croatian geographers towards geographical names. After reviewing Croatian geographical literature that deals with toponyms, several aspects of toponymic research have been specified-one linguistic and five geographical (cartographical, political-geographical, historical-geographical, cultural-geographical, theoretical-methodological)- as well as two approaches in toponymic studies (toponyms as a means of identification, communication, orientation, and as sources in scientific study). Roughly ten Croatian geographers have seriously engaged with toponyms in the last 120 years, which implies that toponyms have not been recognised as a relevant research topic, or as a source of information in studies. However, a change in the attitudes of researchers regarding toponyms in the last twenty years is evident.
U ovome se radu istražuju osobna imena Župe Miholec od Drugog svjetskog rata naovamo. Nakon kratkog osvrta na povijest te demografski i vjerski sastav navedene župe, istražuju se osobna imena u četirima razdobljima: u razdoblju 1947. – 1951., 1971. – 1975., 1991. – 1995. i 2010. – 2014. Takvom smo vremenskom podjelom htjeli istražiti sastav osobnoimenskog fonda Župe Miholec (omjer narodnih, tradicionalnih kršćanskih i novih imena) u posljednjih sedamdesetak godina i utvrditi jesu li i u kojoj mjeri velike društveno-političke promjene u Hrvatskoj u navedenim razdobljima utjecale na promjene u osobnoimenskom fondu jedne jezično i društveno konzervativnije sredine. ; This paper provides research on first names in the Parish of Miholec since the Second World War. Following a brief review of the history of the parish, as well as its demographic and religious composition, the research on first names – which is divided in four significant periods (1947–1951, 1971–1975, 1991–1995, and 2010–2014) – is given. By dividing the research into such periods, we wanted to investigate the structure of the contemporary anthroponymicon in the Parish of Miholec (the amount of national, traditional Catholic names and new, non-traditional names) in the last 70 years and determine the impact of social and political changes in Croatia in the mentioned periods on the repertoire of first names in a linguistically and socially conservative environment.
Pursuant to Article 31, paragraph 4 of the Law on the Government of the Republic of Croatia (Official Gazette 150/11, 119/14, 93/16 and 116/18) and Article 148, paragraph 2 of the Law on State Survey and Real Property Cadastre (Official Gazette 112/18), at its session held on 28 March 2019, the Government of the Republic of Croatia passed the Decision on the Appointment of the Chairman and Members of the Commission for the Standardisation of Geographical Names. ; Na temelju članka 31. stavka 4. Zakona o Vladi Republike Hrvatske (NN 150/11, 119/14. 93/16 i 116/18) i članka 148. stavka 2. Zakona o državnoj izmjeri i katastru nekretnina (NN 112/18), Vlada Republike Hrvatske je na sjednici održanoj 28. ožujka 2019. donijela Rješenje o imenovanju predsjednika i članova Povjerenstva za standardizaciju geografskih imena.
Nesumnjivo, događaji 18, 19 i 20 srpnja 1936. označavaju neke od najistraživanijih povijesnih činjenica nedavne katalonske povijesti. Istovremeno, nakon skoro osamdeset godina, znamo toliko malo o tim događajima. Ishod revolucije 1936. prevazilazi Španjolski građanski rat te njegov kraj koji je rezultirao u četrdeset godina dugoj fašističkoj diktaturi. Ovi događaji proizlaze iz ustanka kojeg su vodili ljudi iz radničkog sloja. Naime, upravo su ljudi koji nisu imali ništa za izgubiti zaustavili vojni prevrat, boreći se metar po metar, ulicu po ulicu praktički nenaoružani te jedino uz pomoć Generalitat de Catalunya jurišnika. Upravo su ljudi koji nisu imali ništa, svojevoljno ušli u milicije s ciljem borbe protiv fašizma Zaragoze. Ljudi koji nisu imali ništa, posebice žene, koje su činile 70% radne snage u tvornicama Barcelone (elektroindustrija, dobavljači vode i plina, tekstilna i drvna industrija, luke, prehrambena industrija, transport ili industrija metala), kao i veći dio ekonomije zemlje (trgovina, distribucija hrane, brijačnice, zabavne emisije, škole, mediji, i sl.). Tijekom tih mjeseci, prvi i možda jedini put u povijesti, žene koje nisu imale ništa osim svojeg dostojanstva, imale su sve. ; Undoubtedly, the events of 18, 19 and 20 July 1936 constitute one of the most excessively interpreted historical facts in recent Catalan history. And, all the same, after eighty years we still know very little about them. The originality of the 1936 social revolution, which was structural and inherent to it, goes beyond the Spanish Civil War and its end in a forty-year long Fascist dictatorship that masked the significance of the revolutionary brunt, or even beyond the tendentious readings from both sides –including the republican sector's internal contradictions-. It stems from an insurrection leaded by its basis, by people from across the working-class neighborhoods of the city of Barcelona. Certainly, it was the people who had nothing –nor anything to lose- who stopped the military coup, inch by inch, street by street, practically unarmed and with the only collaboration of the Generalitat de Catalunya's assault guards. It was the people who had nothing who mainly volunteered to the militias to fight the fascism at Zaragoza. It was the people who had nothing, especially the women, who collectivized around 70% of Barcelona's factories (electrical industry, water and gas supply companies, textile and wood industries, harbors, food industry, transport companies, or metal industry), as well as a great part of the economy of the country (trade, food distribution, barber's shops, entertainment shows, schools, media, croplands, swimming pools, or leisure facilities.). During those months, for the first and perhaps the only time in history, the women who had nothing except their dignity, did have everything. To them I want to dedicate my research and to pay homage.
Deliberation on the concepts of father and fatherhood and their literal and symbolic meanings makes the starting point of this paper. Furthermore, a short historical overview is combined with selected theories of fatherhood, which serve as a framework for placing the issues regarding modern fatherhood in the appropriate context. That context, it is concluded, rests on the historical interdependence of fatherhood, masculine identity and political power where traditional determinants of masculinity, such as aggressiveness and emotional detachment, represent a major obstacle to the fulfilling and positive father-child relationship. That relationship is partially discussed in relation to the concept of equal parental partnership, implying not only the new forms of fatherhood but the new forms of masculine identity as well. Unfortunately, there are still many obstacles to modern fatherhood, the most important one being gender inequality manifested through traditional male bread-winner and female child-rearer models. Subsequently data is provided on values and practices of Croatian men and women regarding childcare, that were collected and analysed in 2013 as part of the International Social Survey Programme (ISSP) and its survey on family and changing gender roles. The arising conclusion is that although many positive changes have been made the Croatian society has got a long way to go to both equal parenting and gender equality. Also, it is important to note that as a subject of political and legal controversy fatherhood cannot and must not be considered independently of the wider gender issues regarding motherhood, social status of men and women, as well as socio-economic assumptions of both fatherhood and motherhood. ; Razmatranje o pojmovima otac i očinstvo i njihovim doslovnim i simboličnim značenjima ishodište je ovoga rada. Nadalje, kratki povijesni pregled kombiniran je s odabranim teorijama očinstva koje služe kao okvir za smještanje pitanja povezanih s modernim očinstvom u prikladni kontekst. Zaključuje se da taj kontekst počiva na povijesnoj povezanosti između očinstva, muškog identiteta i političke moći gdje tradicionalne odrednice muškosti, kao što su agresivnost i emocionalna otuđenost predstavljaju glavne prepreke ispunjavajućem i pozitvnom odnosu otac-dijete. O tom se odnosu djelomično raspravlja u odnosu na koncept jednako roditeljsko partnerstvo, što ne ukazuje samo na nove oblike očinstva, nego isto tako i na nove oblike muškog identiteta. Nažalost, još uvijek postoje brojne prepreke modernom očinstvu, najvažnija od kojih je rodna nejednakost koja se manifestira putem modela tradicionalnog muškarca hranitelja obitelji i žene odgojiteljice djece. U nastavku se prikazuju podatci o vrijednostima i praksama hrvatskih muškaraca i žena u pogledu skrbi za djecu koji su prikupljeni i analizirani 2013. godine kao dio međunarodnog programa socijalnog istraživanja (International Social Survey Programme – ISSP) i istraživanja u sklopu istog o obitelji i rodnim ulogama koje se mijenjaju. Zaključak koji se nameće je da, usprkos tome što je došlo do brojnih promjena, pred hrvatskim društvom je još dugačak put do ravnopravnog roditeljstva i rodne jednakosti. Isto tako, važno je uočiti da se očinstvo, kao predmet političke i pravne kontroverzije, ne može i ne smije razmatrati neovisno od širih rodnih pitanja povezanih s majčinstvom, socijalnim položajem muškaraca i žena, kao i socio-ekonomskim pretpostavkama očinstva i majčinstva.
U suvremenom društvu pitanja održivog razvoja razvijala su se na različitim razinama, od novih globalnih okvira, preko politika vlada do novih poslovnih modela. U 1980-ima pojam održivi razvoj nastao je iz međuodnosa očuvanja planeta i ispunjavanja ljudskih potreba (IUCN, 1980). Opća ideja koncepta održivog razvoja je zadovoljavanje potreba sadašnje generacije, bez ugrožavanja sposobnosti budućih generacija da zadovolje svoje potrebe (Opća skupština Ujedinjenih naroda, 1987.). Kao jedan od glavnih izazova u ekonomiji i poslovanju, pojam održivog razvoja pojavio se i na širokom području poslovne ekonomije. Cilj ovog rada je pružiti pregled opsežne literature, koja se bavi konceptom održivog razvoja u području poslovne ekonomije. U svrhu analize, korišten je bibliometrijski pristup s višestrukim korespondentnim analizama na bazama baze podataka Web of Science Core Collection database za promatrano razdoblje od deset godina. Rezultati ukazuju na važnost održivog razvoja kao teme, kao i na širok raspon pristupa i raznolikosti podtema koje su povezane s konceptom održivog razvoja u poslovnoj i ekonomskoj literaturi. ; In a modern society, the issues of sustainable development have evolved on different levels, from the new global frameworks over governmental policies to the new business models. In the 1980s, the term sustainable development emerged from the relationship between preserving the planet and meeting human needs (IUCN, 1980). The general idea behind the concept of sustainable development is to meet the needs of the present generation without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs (United Nations General Assembly, 1987). As one of the main challenges in economics and business, the concept of sustainable development has also emerged in the wide area of business economics. The aim of this paper is to provide an extensive literature overview dealing with the concept of sustainable development within a field of business economics. For the purpose of the analysis a bibliometric approach with multiple correspondence analyses has been used on the Web of Science Core Collection database for the observed period of ten years. The results illustrate the importance of sustainable development as a topic, as well as wide range of approaches and variety of sub-topics linked to the concept of sustainable development in business and economics literature.
Izravan otpor Novosadskomu dogovoru vođen promišljeno, zasnovano, političko-strategijski odmjereno, ali odlučno, otpočeo je Deklaracijom o nazivu i položaju hrvatskog književnog jezika iz 1967. godine. Bez obzira na osude, kazne, zabrane i progonstva glavnih inicijatora i drugih aktivnih sudionika – organizatora i simpatizera, ustanova, potpisnika i pisaca Deklaracije – a potom i boljševički nametnutu šutnju o tome časnom činu, neprekidno je i upravo proporcionalno bujao osjećaj domoljublja, rasle su svijest i odgovornost o zaštiti hrvatskoga jezika u cijelome hrvatskom nacionalnom biću s nezaustavljivom nakanom da mu se popravi i ustavno-pravni status kao i stvarni položaj u društvu jer je u tome jeziku odredište njegova identiteta, uporište osobnih i zajedničkih prava i jamstvo uljuđenosti, samostalnosti i slobode. Uz Deklaraciju kao prekretnicu na putu hrvatskoga jezika stoje i spomenute Brozovićeve Teze o hrvatskome jeziku u kojima argumentirano i uvjerljivo obrazlaže neslaganje s Novosadskim dogovorom naglašavajući samostalnost i vitalnost hrvatskoga jezika koji se razvijao stoljećima "na vlastiti način" i u "skladu s jezičnom praksom i ustaljenom hrvatskom tradicijom" ; Declaration on the name and status of the Croatian Language from 1967 was the initiator of direct opposition to Novi Sad Agreement which was lead deliberately, with political and strategic measure, but at the same time decisively. Regardless of condemnations, punishments, prohibitions and prosecutions of the main initiators and other active participants – organizers and sympathizers, institutions, signatories and writers of the Declaration – and repressively imposed silence about that noble act, the patriotism feeling has been growing constantly and proportionally. Responsibility of the entire Croatian national creature for protection of the Croatian language has also been increased with the intention to improve both its constitutional-legal status and real position in the society because the language is the center of its identity, stronghold of personal and common rights and guarantee of civility, independence and freedom. Besides the Declaration as the turning point on the way of the Croatian language there are also Ten theses on the Croatian standard language in which Brozovic argumentatively and convincingly explains his disagreement with Novi Sad Agreement emphasizing independence and vitality of the Croatian language that has been developed for centuries "in its own way" and "in the accordance to language practice and consistent Croatian tradition".
Nakon pojave Deklaracije o nazivu i položaju hrvatskog književnog jezika uslijedile se rasprave, a potom i osude potpisnika navedene inicijative. Pored osuda koje su dolazile iz gradskih, republičkih i saveznih partijskih središta, osudama su se pridružila i različita hrvatska republička i jugoslavenska savezna tijela. Srbijanske su tiskovine opširno izvještavale sa sjednica Republičkoga, Privrednoga, Socijalno-zdravstvenoga, Organizaciono-političkoga i Prosvjetno-kulturnoga vijeća Sabora SR Hrvatske te Prosvjetno-kulturnoga, Privrednoga, Socijalno-zdravstvenoga i Saveznoga vijeća Savezne skupštine. O Deklaraciji su raspravljala i neka druga republička i savezna tijela, i to Republička privredna komora Hrvatske, Savjet za naučni rad Hrvatske, Odbor Saveznoga vijeća za društveno-ekonomske odnose i Centralno vijeće Saveza sindikata Jugoslavije. O Deklaraciji su se očitovala i neka izvanpartijska tijela u BiH. Riječ je o nastavnicima Filozofskoga fakulteta u Sarajevu i Upravnome odboru i Predsjedništvu Udruženja univerzitetskih nastavnika i naučnih radnika BiH. Srbijanske su tiskovine davale dosta medijskoga prostora i pojedinačnim reakcijama pojedinaca i neformalnih grupa. Oni su se o Deklaraciji uglavnom očitovali otvorenim pismima. Ocjene su Deklaracije, svih gore navedenih tijela i pojedinaca, na tragu partijskih stavova. Proglašavaju je atakom na bratstvo i jedinstvo, brane jedinstvo hrvatskoga i srpskoga jezika, pozivaju na utvrđivanje odgovornosti potpisnika. Zbog uključenosti u donošenje Deklaracije neki su potpisnici podnijeli ostavke na dužnosti i kandidacijske liste za pojedina republička i savezna vijeća. ; Appearance of the Declaration on the Name and Status of the Croatian Literary Language was followed by discussions and disapprovals of its signatories. Besides disapprovals coming from the city, republic and federal Party centers, there were also those from different Croatian republic and Yugoslav federal bodies. Serbian newspapers were extensively reporting from the meetings of the Republic Council, Economic Council, Social and Health Council, Organizational and Political Council and Education and Culture Council of the Parliament of the SR Croatia as well as Education and Culture Council, Economic Council, Social and Health Council and Federal Council of the Federal Parliament. Declaration was also discussed by some other republican and federal bodies: Republic Chamber of Commerce, Croatian Scientific Council, Committee of the Federal Council for Socio-Economic Relations and Central Council of the Yugoslav Trade Union Confederation. Some bodies outside the Party in B&H also presented their comments on the Declaration. Those are the teachers of the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo and Management Board and Presidency of the Association of University Teachers and Scientists of B&H. Serbian newspapers also devoted much of their media space to reactions of individuals and informal groups. They were giving their comments on the Declaration mostly through open letters. All the above mentioned bodies evaluated the Declaration in the similar way to the Party views. They declared it as an attack to brotherhood and unity, defended the unity of Croatian and Serbian language, invited to determining the responsibility of the signatories. Because of being included into adoption of the Declaration some signatories resigned from their posts and candidate lists for certain republic and federal councils.
