It establishes a relationship between peasants and agro-ecology, as categories of rural sociology, trying to contribute to a construct, which unifies them: the agro-ecological peasant. This feat obliges to dialogue with both concepts and to observe two nodules, which are visualized as main ones: 1- nature and/or its components and 2- the relation between peasant-capitalism tension, nodules that the subjects and the contexts,

The article explores the private law regime of human genetic information. To achieve the objective, an analysis of bibliographic sources in the field of genetic and genomic research, legal support for the circulation of genetic information and its legal protection was carried out. The document also analyses the provisions of the legislation and practice of the United States and the Member States of the European Union. General and specific methods of scientific knowledge, including dialectical methods, formal logic and comparative law, were used to solve the problems raised. The article clarifies the doctrinal and legal definitions of the concepts of "genome" and "gene" of an individual. It points out the dual nature of the human gene as a material object: a DNA molecule, and also as a unit of hereditary information that is intangible in nature. The article explores the possibility of attributing genetic information to objects of civil rights, in particular material objects, intangible movable property and the results of intellectual activity. The conclusions support the need to distinguish between the concepts of genetic information and genomics. In addition, it reviews theoretical approaches to define the concept and nature of genetic information.

The aim of this work is to ascertain whether beauty -- as defined by F. Schiller in Cartas sobre la educacion estetica del hombre ([Letters on the Aesthetic Education of Man] 1990 [1795]) -- constitutes a true "bridge" between feeling & reason, in that these are -- for the poet -- the constitutive parts of human nature. In this case, we can ask ourselves why beauty has to play the role of intermediary between feeling & reason. The author analyzes how Schiller constructs the transitional character of beauty through different constructive strategies.

The works of Silvia Federici allow us to understand current processes of dispossession and resistance, in this case related to the expansion of extractivism in Ecuador. The analysis of the disciplining of women and the devaluation of their work in the violent capitalist processes illuminates the ways in which the accumulation of capital provokes a rupture in the interdependence between the humane and the non-humane in the reproduction of fertility cycles. All of this is emerging as key when thinking of common policies in Latin America today. (Nueva Soc/GIGA)

Adam & Eves' fall is taken as a core of myths related to the explanation of evil & human nature. We suggest which myths could inspire the biblical version. Also, we present the ideas that nourish either the so-called popular wisdom or the philosophical debates. "The Fall" is used as a way to show how different cultures, especially the religious aspects, adopt & transform myths in order to suit certain worldviews & how they can be useful to construct social & political life. 19 References.

This work investigates the relationships among Psychology, defined as an institution of knowledge & practices, Politics, conceived as the arena where symbolic & realistic fights occur in order to achieve power & knowledge, & Human Rights, delimited as the socially formed understanding about "human nature." A set of results from several studies carried out by our research group is analyzed. Specifically discussed are the relationships between psychology lecturers' theories & practices concerning homosexuality & discrimination against it. The results show the existence of a social norm that predisposes psychology lecturers against explicit prejudicial attitudes, but that psychological theory & practice reinforce discriminatory situations.
