The Aristotelian phronesis of Nicomachean Ethics is at the basis of all Hans-Georg Gadamer thought, as well as of all his hermeneutical theory, in the form of a model. I show, through description, that it is a reference for the Gadamerian approach to the hermeneutical problems of the application and the nature of the hermeneutics itself. As a result, phronesis takes on a hermeneutic form insofar as it contributes to the characterization of the interpreter's application activity and to the determination of philosophical hermeneutics as praxis, which are fundamentally rooted in human finitude.

Uncertainty, insecurity and vulnerability have become commonplace in contemporary societies. This article aims an interdisciplinary reflection on the social and political construction of fear in liquid modernity. Zygmunt Bauman, Leonidas Donskis, Martha Nussbaum, Hannah Arendt, Ulrich Beck, Boaventura de Sousa Santos, Bernard Henri-Levy and Umberto Eco are some of the authors that we will put into dialogue to better understand the multiple narratives of fear in an era deeply marked by destruction social certainties, the worsening of social inequalities, the logic of predatory capitalism, the resurgence of nationalisms of exclusion, as well as ethnic-cultural particularisms, which move from xenophobic and racist discourses and, finally, new risks, such as ecological degradation and the pandemic COVID19, which currently plagues contemporary societies and domesticates social behaviors.

community as an important tool for investigating and evaluating the occupational health of individuals in a holistic manner. The measurement instruments are developed
for many different purposes and directions, being held by generic scales of health
status and specific scales to a given situation. The objective of this study is to discuss
important aspects related to QLW and present in a systematic concept, indicators and
measurement instruments used and validated in Brazil. Was conducted a study of
narrative review of available knowledge in the literature, consultation with the
following databases: DEDALUS, LILACS, MEDLINE and Scielo, based on the
periods of 1995-2008. It was conclude that in spiteof being instruments recognized
nationally and internationally, therefore further studies of application are not
needed to ensure better their psychometric properties, applicability, better
management and the possible interference inter-examiner.

The promotion of quality of work life programs has become the way it is possible to
develop and maintain motivation and commitment of workers, resulting in numerous
benefits. Currently, many companies havesought to incorporate standardized
programs Quality of Work Life (QWL) immediately, without strategic planning and
proper investment. This causes them to obtain results contrary to those expected.
Each program must have a direction, since each company has its specificity. Thus, it
should be a diagnosis of problems and limitations of occupational activities, as well
as the physical and human resources, it canforward the planning and execution of
actions to be implemented. This study aimed to present suggestions of actions and
promotional programs for QWL to be used asa model, aiming to worker health and
gain business. Was conducted a bibliographic research by consulting the following
databases: DEDALUS, LILACS, MEDLINE and SciELO, based on the periods of
1995-2008. It is concluded that there is much to do. Should then reduce the gap
between rhetoric and practice, so that the QWL is not just another fad and will not
disappear before the first difficulty to be faced.

The aim of this article is to relate Duchamp's ready-made - a work of art that is identical to a common object - with the history of art that preceded it and to understand how its radical rupture was already contained in that history. I choose to start it with an introduction and interpretation of the ready-made. Then, supported by Gombrich, Greenberg and others, I examine the three types of art in history proposed by Peter Bürger, focusing in the question of the reality/unreality of the work, gradually approaching the relation of the work with its character of object. My main point is that the two-dimensionality of the paiting reinforces the existence of the canvas (or of the support in question) and thus also the relation of its experience with the concrete world in which the paiting is found, as opposed to the dramatic illusion of the three-dimensional picture. Hereafter, I examine the impressionists, when its started a movement that goes to the reality of the canvas, which is then radicalized in various aspects of modernism, where Duchamp is found. Having taken this course, I examine Bürger's concept of vanguard and its relation to what he calls the "vital praxis", the world outside the illusionist framework, which I explain through Walter Benjamin's idea of distraction. Here, I suggest to think the ready-made as a proposal of transposition of art and its theory to the "non-artistic" world of the common things.

The following article aims to present and develop Martin Heidegger's criticism of Aesthetics from the essay 'The Origin of the Work of Art' ('Der Ursprung des Kunstwerkes', 1936). For Heideggerian thinking, Aesthetics, as an heir to the metaphysical paradigms, kills what is essential in the art (its ontological truth) by taking it fundamentally as an object capable of provoking and impacting the sensitivity of the contemplating subject. As will be shown Heidegger traces the origin ('Ur-sprung') of such a conception in the first Western philosophical systems with Plato and Aristotle, and its development in the initial moments of modernity with Descartes and the other heirs of his thinking. Since we are already at the heart of historical sedimentation when conceiving works of art, it is necessary to dive into such sedimentation to develop the sleeping potentialities. This is the invitation that Heidegger offers us and that we also offer the reader here.

The present article proposes an analysis concerning possible transformations of work based upon the concept of temporality. It considers the comprehension of the time category by the social sciences since the elaboration of the concept of social time to the construction of a dominant time.
