This study was conducted to examine the effect of unemployment rate, labor force, investment, inflation rate, and government expenditure on economic growth in Indonesia in the long term and short term for the period 1986-2015. This research uses cointegration and Error Correction Model (ECM) method. The results of ECM treatment with EViews 8 indicate that the unemployment rate and capital have significant positive effects, labor force and inflation rate have significant negative effects, and government expenditure has an insignificant effect on economic growth in Indonesia within the study period.

A soft Brexit scenario will include an implementation period from the day the UK formally leaves the EU to 31 December 2020. During the implementation period, the UK will continue to be functionally treated as an EU member state and remain a party to EU international agreement. Associated with the ASEAN single market, should be considered the readiness of Indonesian regulations and legislations that in sectorial concerns at least three aforementioned legal instruments to be harmonized with the laws of the ASEAN countries. However, this step is not fully run smoothly because the negotiation was challenged by the US strategic ally, Saudi Arabia and Israel, both criticized the policy of the White House as an error. Small Medium Entreprises (SMEs) and Cooperative have not received a proper law protection in facing trade liberation of ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) and economic globalized world. In 2015 AEC has been established that would bring a huge change in Southeast Asia regionS and definitely will have a wide impact to business people in Indonesia. SMEs and Cooperative contribute to more than 90 percent of total Indonesian national economy. However, they are weak on investment and information technology and management skill as well as competition law among ASEAN Member States. Economic policies do not give a sufficient protection to SMEs and Cooperative. This article tries to seek solutions for SMEs problems especially their legal structure in order to enhance their competitiveness. This article argues that the government can provide legal protection by reforming SMEs economic sectors similar to the AEC's priority sectors by which the Indonesian' SMEs would become world class corporate.
The development of the microfinance as well as islamic microfinance Indonesia has been remarkable. It gains many attention by policy makers as well as academicians in many occasions. Topic that was discussed ranged from the past performance, current obstacle as wes as the problem, solution and the opportunity in the future (Hamad 2010, Bank Indonesia 2009,2010). The role of this microfinance gain more important during the recent financial crisis. The subprime mortgage occured in 2008 has affected many countries in the worlds. In Indonesia the effect can be seen from the stock market. Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) shows 2721.25 in January 2008 while it plunged to 1241.54 in October 2008. Companies which the operations is exposing themselves to the exchange rate were obviously got affected since the plunge of the stock market induce investors not to continue their investments in Indonesia. As a result ''fligh to quality" happened and this create fluctuation of the exchange rate. However, other sector such as microfinance does not seem to be affected.
General Election (Pemilihan Umum/Umum) is an arena for political parties to fight for seats in parliament through various political campaign strategies they carry out. The success of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Bandung City in obtaining the majority of 13 seats in the 2019 Election is an interesting political case to study. This study aims to describe and analyze the political marketing strategies that the legislative candidates from the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) of Bandung City carry out. Using the marketing mix theory, this study looks at 4 dimensions, namely Product, Place, Price, and Promotion. A descriptive-qualitative approach is applied. This study conducts interviews with representatives of the former PKS candidates who were the members of the parliament of Bandung City in the period of 2019-2024. This study indicates that PKS candidates for the City of Bandung Parliament have succeeded in implementing a marketing mix strategy. They employ it effectively and efficiently and reach a wider and more inclusive segment. They also apply campaign narratives that are close to voter's needs through direct marketing strategies.
The use of information technology in government processes can improve efficiency, effectiveness, transparency, and accountability in government administration. At the local government agencies there are several obstacles, namely the lack of optimal supervision from the informatics section in the implementation of IT Governance, because it is done if there are complaints from other parts of the IT services and the lack of planning and alignment of the Information Technology strategy with the agency strategy. Therefore, measurement of COBIT process maturity model is needed to determine the condition of the IT process maturity model in government agencies today. The implementation of good IT governance is expected to ensure that IT investment has contributed to the progress of the institution. This research results in recommendations for improvement and improvement of information technology governance in the offices of government agencies. In this study, the conclusion of maturity level in the domain PO2 = 2.4, PO3 = 2.5, PO10 = 2.5, ME1 = 2.5 and ME4 = 2.7, so that governance at local government agencies is at level 2.5 (Defined Process). The region of ASEAN is the leading producer of rice in the world. For most people in ASEAN member countries, rice is also a staple food commodity. ASEAN is disaster prone areas such as tsunami, landslide, earthquakes, floods and hurricanes causing degraded farmland, swallowing casualties as well as farm animals. The research having problem formulation, how the role of ASEAN Plus Three through the APTERR program, how the dynamics of food security issue. and how to implement APTERR's commitment as an effort to address food security issues in southeast Asia. The purpose of this research is to know the cooperation of ASEAN Plus Three through APTERR program. The Data obtained will be analyzed by descriptive method of analysis. .Based on the analysis of the data done, the conclusion that ASEAN is also a disaster prone areas such as tsunami, landslide, earthquakes, floods and hurricanes that cause farmland is damaged, swallowing casualties also livestock animals. As far as research analysis in the implementation of APTERR in the years 2015 – 2019, tier I and tier II programs have not been utilized. APTERR still focuses on tier III, which is giving direct assistance to victims of natural disasters.
One of the main issues encompassing Na-Oogst (NO) tobacco agribusiness is farmers' dissatisfaction toward manufactured tobacco selling price. In general, a little trust is built among NO tobacco agribusiness actors. This condition can be seen from the lack of partnership offered by tobacco companies. Efforts to socialize the partnership cannot be implemented optimally because an assumption about the farmer groups' less role exists. Ideally, farmer groups are institutions that should be able to connect farmers as NO tobacco producers and product recipients companies. These conditions certainly contribute to the achievements of overall tobacco agribusiness. Based on the description, this study aimed at: (a) describing institutions involved in NO tobacco agribusiness, (b) identifying roles of the institutions and coordinations formed in NO tobacco agribusiness chain, and (c) analyzing the effectiveness and institutional strengthening efforts to support better tobacco agribusiness chain. The results showed (i) there were institutions in the level of farmers, traders, and companies contributing to the supply chain of NO tobacco, (ii) direct and indirect roles of institutions affected the coordination among agribusiness actors, and (iii) the effectiveness of institutional coordination has not met the expectations and strengthening efforts at key institutions, especially the government, are needed.
At the time of the earthquake affecting substantial losses due to the damage they cause, usually very high expectations of the people to the government for rehabilitation and reconstruction (rehabilitation and reconstruction) of homes affected. Therefore readiness to undertake the rehabilitation of earthquake remains an important concern by the parties in the response to natural disasters, both government and society. This study is a qualitative study to describe the experience of the parties in order to direct the rehabilitation of houses affected by the earthquake of 2007 in Tanah Datar, West Sumatra province. The results of this study found the application of the principles of transparency, participation and accountability in the interrelation between the government and society in the process of preparation and implementation of the rehabilitation of earthquake-affected neighborhoods. Open governance practices have proven quite successful even minimize complaints and public protests or other social conflict that impacts are not uncommon in post-disaster management in the region. Experiences of good practice organizing the rehabilitation of houses affected by the earthquake in Tanah Datar this would even be used as a pilot, and learning resources of many parties in implementing the governance of disaster management in the various regions
