Propaganda politica. Perspectiva postmoderna
In: Psicologia politica, Band 15, S. 95-112
ISSN: 1138-0853
Uses recent examples of political movements around the world to describe the conceptual problems in assuming that political propaganda is effective in achieving political power. The analysis draws on postmodern perspectives, drawing on critiques of logical positivism, materialism, realism, deconstructionism, & subjugating discourse. References are also made to traditional psychological research concerning persuasion, social cognition, & psychotherapy. Seven international examples of propaganda's effects are presented, ranging from Palestinian Liberation Organization activities in the Middle East, to the situation in former Yugoslavia, to the Persian Gulf War. 21 References.
