In 'Politics and Passions: The Stakes of Democracy', Chantal Mouffe has argued that passions, rather than merely reason and interests, motivate people to act in politics and the only way to confront the mobilization of passions towards non-democratic ends by the Right is to mobilize passions towards democratic visions. Although poetry does not hold central stage in contemporary cultural production, it continues to mobilize various passions. Therefore it comes as no surprise that in the world of real politics, poems (or strategically selected poetic fragments) serve to mobilize negative as well as positive passions, towards democratic as well as non-democratic ends. But what passions does poetry animate in imaginary utopian societies? And why is it featured there at all? These and other questions are probed in the pages below; and I conclude that poetry in utopian prose may open up spaces of negativity that contradict positive utopian designs.

The Tweed Family Papers consists primarily of correspondence between Mrs. Richard Tweed and her children, relatives, and friends. Diaries, essays and poetry written by family members, newspaper clippings (photocopies), and financial and legal material are also included, as are a handful of photographs. All related primarily to the life of Mrs. Richard Tweed and her descendants. ; Mrs. Richard Tweed, upon whom the majority of the materials focus, was the sister-in-law of William Marcy ("Boss") Tweed, who controlled the Democratic political machine at New York City's Tammany Hall during the mid-19th century. He and his associates misappropriated public funds on a large scale, leading to his arrest and imprisonment in 1871. ; The Tweed Family Papers are organized by the following categories: Correspondence, Newspapers, Literary Production, Photographs, Financial Material, Printed Material, Scrapbook Material, Legal Material, and Artifacts. ; Tweed Family Papers, 1836-1932 and undated, Southwest Collection/Special Collections Library, Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas ; Box 1, File 14
The land has a social function; therefore, everyone has the right to make the best use of the land, from the land for agriculture to land to develop an area. This paper aims to analyze land acquisition problems in the West Kutai Regency and forms of legal protection for the community against land acquisition. This research method is normative juridical research. The land is fundamental to support the sustainable development of an area to impact the community whose land is designated for development. The legal umbrella still constrains land acquisition in West Kutai Regency in the form of regional regulations that provide access to the land acquisition process in the West Kutai Regency. The absence of legality of land certificates becomes an obstacle for the government to carry out land acquisition to trigger agrarian conflicts. For this reason, land acquisition, of course, the community must have a sense of sincerity if the land has been included in development activities. However, the government must provide compensation for communities affected by regional development. The concept of land acquisition carried out in an area must have a regional regulation formation in advance. In the land acquisition process, the community knows the legal basis, and the government has a legal basis in land acquisition. Justice for communities affected by land acquisition's impact, the government, must have an ideal system to provide justice for the community in terms of land acquisition.
