Objective: To know young college men opinion about abortion and its participation in reproductive planning. Method: Descriptive research with qualitative approach. Some surveys were given to 34 young men, between the age of 18 and 24 years. The analysis had a thematic content. Results: Young people think they should be part of the reproductive planning. The most popular contraceptive method got first place, condoms. Conclusion: These youth are more involved in the reproductive process and more aware that they are an important part in reproductive decision-making process.
This article aims to analyze the laws that regulate sport and leisure in the city of Salvador, published between 2006 and 2016, as legal devices that regulating the exercise of citizenship. For this purpose, a qualitative research was carried out, of the documentary type, that was based on information from the e-government of the City Hall of Salvador. 13 laws were found, which were classified in the following categories: 1) development and organization of the city; 2) organizational structure of municipal management; 3) great events; 4) commemorative date; and 5) educational sport. The analysis of the laws indicates that there are limitations in the legislation being researched, because they are sometimes generalist or punctual, as well as a greater diffusion of the knowledge about these laws, so that the population can supervise and participate in the process of construction of public policies sports and leisure, from its elaboration until its implementation in concrete actions for the Soteropolitan citizen. ; Este artículo tiene como objetivo analizar las leyes que regulan el deporte y el ocio en la ciudad de Salvador, publicadas entre 2006 y 2016, entendidas como aparatos legales que rigen el ejercicio de la ciudadanía. Para ello se realizó una investigación cualitativa, de tipo documental, basada en el gobierno electrónico del Ayuntamiento de Salvador. Se encontraron 13 leyes, las cuales se clasificaron en las siguientes categorías: 1) desarrollo y organización de la ciudad; 2) estructura organizativa de la gestión municipal; 3) grandes eventos; 4) fecha conmemorativa; y 5) deporte educativo. Given the important role that school management currently plays, this paper aims to discuss democracy from democratic management perspective in educational institutions. Thus, it focuses on ideas of equal opportunity, liberties, human and social rights, which are safeguarded by modern democracy, where conflicts in the perpetuation of inequalities and social violence in education occur, prompting the analysis of democracy in the capitalist context. This is an exploratory-bibliographical, qualitative research that is based on documental analysis of publications that are related to literature pertinent to educational policies, democracy, and democratic management. The study found that the democratic management has oscillated between equal management of the School Council and a management that is discretional, bureaucratic, and that is more tolerant to the perverse logics of control and hierarchy than to the school self-organization which should identify with a participatory democracy. ; Debido a la importancia que asume hoy la gestión escolar, la investigación discute la democracia desde la perspectiva de la gestión democratica en las intituiciones educativas. Objective: to understand the access of lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transvestites/transsexuals to the Basic Family Health Units. Methods: qualitative research held with 54 patients. A semi-structured interview and the free association test were used. The data were processed by the software IRaMuTeQ® and submitted to the technique of Content Analysis in the thematic modality. Results:six categories emerged: Silencing regarding sexual orientation and gender identity – access is facilitated as they do not reveal themselves; Invisibility and indifference to legal political references - antagonism between the paradigm thought and executed; Homophobic manifestations and effects on access - restricted use of the service; Embarrassment and distancing - removal and search for private services; Des (humanized) and unethical practices - lack of awareness, secrecy; and Stigma and access - permanence of stigmata between Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome and homosexuality. Conclusion: the access to health services is limited with intolerance, constraints, exclusionary and aerial positions. ; Objetivo: compreender o acesso de lésbicas, gays, bissexuais e travestis/transexuais às Unidades Básicas de Saúde da Família. This study aimed to identify how female players perceives manifestation of violence/abuse on the online gaming environment. It is a cross-sectional descriptive study using qualitative research, with violence in the virtual environment as a variable. It started in July 2018 and it finished in November 2018. Data were acquired in two cities: Juazeiro do Norte and Crato (State of Ceará, Brazil). It was used a semi-structured interview which has been finished with saturation. All interviews were processed by the software IRAMUTEQ, v0.7 alpha 2. During the research process 13 (thirteen) female players participated, most of them are 20 to 35 years old, students and single. From the responses collected, it was possible to elaborate two different thematic categories: The first one addresses the types of violence suffered in online games, with emphasis on the psychological one, materialized in swearing and sexual harassment; and the second, the motivations of sexual violence in online games as a result, in part, of the presence of women in this environment. It was concluded that gender abuse happens in every single male dominant environment (such as online gaming). Thus, encouraging the reporting and the punishment of aggressions, and the inspection of these environments can democratize such spaces. ; A pesquisa teve como objetivo identificar a percepção de mulheres jogadoras online quanto às manifestações de violência no espaço virtual. Trata-se de estudo transversal, descritivo e qualitativo realizado entre julho e novembro de 2018 nos municípios de Juazeiro do Norte e Crato, Ceará, Brasil, utilizaram-se roteiros semiestruturados para as entrevistas que foram processadas pelo software IRAMUTEQ, versão 0.7 alfa 2. Participaram 13 mulheres, entre 20 e 35 anos, solteiras e estudantes. A partir dos dados coletados, se elaboraram duas categorias temáticas. A primeira aborda os tipos de violência sofrida em jogos online, com destaque para a psicológica, materializada em xingamentos e assédio sexual; e a segunda, as motivações da violência sexual em jogos online como resultado, em parte, da presença de mulheres nesse ambiente. Concluiu-se que a violência de gênero está presente em todos os espaços onde as mulheres se inserem, incluindo os virtuais. Assim, incentivar a denúncia e punição de agressores e a fiscalização desses locais pode democratizar tais ambientes.
This article presents elements that compose the current debate on the Integral High School in Brazil, more specifically, the public policy entitled Teaching Higher Education Program created in 2009 by the Federal Government and implemented in the different states of the Federation and the school designed by Antonio Gramsci. Seeks through approximations and / or antagonisms to talk with the ideas of this author and others like Frigotto; Motta (2017) and Savianni (2003) who focused on the subject of secondary education in Brazil. The possibility of using Gramsci's concepts in the development of a more egalitarian secondary school was part of the construction of this study. The methodology used was qualitative research, supported by documental analysis and bibliographical research. ; Este artículo presenta elementos que componen el debate actual sobre la Enseñanza Media en Tiempo Integral en Brasil, más específicamente, la política pública titulada Programa Enseñanza Media Innovador creado en 2009 por el Gobierno Federal e implementado en los diversos estados de la Federación y la escuela pensada por Antonio Gramsci. Busca a través de aproximaciones y / o antagonismos conversar con las ideas de este autor y de otros como Frigotto; Motta (2017), Savianni (2003) que se inclinaron sobre la temática de la enseñanza media en Brasil. La posibilidad de la utilización de los conceptos de Gramsci en el desarrollo de una escuela de enseñanza media más igualitaria formó parte de la construcción de este estudio. Objectives: To identify the conditions of work and the reasons for absence from the university professor of nursing; analyze risks and occupational diseases and to propose preventive measures to nursing faculty. Methods: Field research, descriptive and exploratory, with quantitative and qualitative approach. Data were collected through a questionnaire, whose subjects were university professors of nursing in a private educational institution in the city of Niterói. Thematic analysis was performed for statistical and qualitative / quantitative percentage for. Results: Working Conditions and Risks of teachers; Occupational diseases and Grounds for removal; prevention measures. Conclusion: Aiming to provide education to these workers improve health conditions, it is important to intervene with practical physical activities and leisure guidelines of proper use of the voice and implement organizational change and working conditions in the institution.
This article aims to introduce and expand on the concept of popular feminism in Latin America based on the case of women from the favelas who are recognized for their social and political activism. To this end, we will start from feminist and decolonial epistemologies that enable us to recognize the resistances generally made invisible by the coloniality of gender and often ignored by hegemonic feminism. Methodologically, this study is based on qualitative research in which interviews were conducted with 110 women in 105 favelas throughout Rio de Janeiro. We rely mainly on their answers to the question about whether or not they consider themselves to be feminists and why. As such, we propose an expanded definition of popular feminism that is characterized by the specific subjectivity of these women, their networking, a radical commitment to the favela, and a differentiated temporality of action in the city. ; El presente artículo tiene por objeto presentar y ampliar el concepto de feminismo popular en América Latina a partir del caso de las mujeres de las favelas que son reconocidas por su activismo social y político. Para ello, nos basamos en las epistemologías feminista y descolonial que nos permiten percibir las resistencias generalmente invisibilizadas por la colonialidad de género y a menudo ignoradas por el feminismo hegemónico. Metodológicamente, este estudio se basa en una investigación cualitativa en la que se entrevistaron 110 mujeres en 105 favelas de Rio de Janeiro. The environmental movement in Brazil emerged as a response to the colonial exploitation model and the consequent unbridled degradation of the environment. Since then, the historical normative process of legislative initiatives has re-signified the concept of the environment, in order to systematize and constitutionalize environmental protection. However, due to the current ecological crisis, the narrative of modern Environmental Law is problematized. After all, Law, in itself, is considered a project of Modernity and its regulatory frameworks instrumentalize Nature as a mere resource for the capitalist production system. With this problematization, this article seek to promote reflections on the need to decolonize Environmental Law through the ecologization of Law, that is, through an ecodecolonial theory. Methodologically, it is based on a qualitative research, based on the deductive method and the collection and analysis of bibliographic data as an investigation technique. The results achieved point to the subordination of Nature in Modernity and the need to break with ecological coloniality through the ecologization of Environmental Law. ; O movimento ambientalista no Brasil surgiu como uma resposta ao modelo de exploração colonial e a consequente degradação desenfreada do meio ambiente. A partir de então, o processo histórico normativo das iniciativas legislativas ressignificaram a concepção de meio ambiente, de modo a sistematizar e a constitucionalizar a proteção ambiental. Porém, em razão da atual crise ecológica, problematiza-se a narrativa do Direito Ambiental moderno. Afinal, o Direito, em si, é considerado um projeto da Modernidade e seus marcos regulatórios instrumentalizam a natureza como mero recurso para o sistema capitalista de produção. Com essa problematização, busca-se promover reflexões sobre a necessidade de decolonizar o Direito Ambiental por meio da ecologização do Direito, isto é, por meio de uma teoria ecodecolonial. Metodologicamente, parte-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, pautada no método dedutivo e no levantamento e análise de dados bibliográficos como técnica de investigação. Os resultados alcançados apontam para a subalternização da natureza na Modernidade e para necessidade de se romper com a colonialidade ecológica por meio da ecologização do Direito Ambiental.
The article considers boarding on the interaction between the State of Law and the market pursuant the juridical and economic analysis as an instrumental to investigate the social phenomenology, in special, referring to the reflections produced by the public agent´s action that operating the Law at the economic agent´s action in the market, detaching the effectiveness of the normative and disciplinary State´s roll. It denotes the in management of the State on the market, frequently causing ominous externalities for the fluidity of the production relations. The other hand, it points to the mistake of the minimal State in the existence of a weakened civil society in its civil and economic power, in this way, it presents a possible critic to the economic think on the juridical praxis. For in such a way, detaching the theoretical premises of defending thinkers of the juridical and economic vision as Karl Marx, Rudolph Stammler and the defenders of the economic-juridical rationality adequate to the Law and Economics (LaE) as Guido Calabresi, Ronald H. Coase and Richard A. Posner. It objectives to present delineations regarding the symbiosis between the State and the Market pointing in this way the politician-economic-juridical way of the currently occidental society. It uses the economic-legal methodology of the Economic Analysis of Law (EAL) and intends to clarify the generated economic-social effect pursuant the implement of the action in the social market and besides by the defended Social Economic Efficiency Principle (SEEP). Objective: To evaluate the user satisfaction of the family health strategy in Santa Cruz / RN and analyze the implantation consequences of PSF in the health of the local population. Method: It was conducted an exploratory descriptive study with qualitative boarding, with data obtained from structured interview applied on users in the period October 2010 to September 2011. Results: High levels of satisfaction in relation to access, waiting time, service and infrastructure, in addition to significant dissatisfaction related to the marking of examinations and participation of the population in the management of the unit. Conclusion: It is suggested improvements in the integration of UBS with other levels of care, and the implementation of projects that make the active population within units.
The aim was to know the ways of approaching death and dying in the teaching-learning process of the undergraduate Nursing course at a Federal University in the South of Brazil. Descriptive-exploratory qualitative research, carried out between 2018 and 2019 through self-administered semi-structured interviews with 133 undergraduates and coordinators of the phases of the nursing course at a University of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brazil. It also collects from documental sources, the Political-Pedagogical Project, the menus and teaching plans of the compulsory and optional subjects of the curriculum. Data analysis followed Bardin's Content Analysis and discussion based on vulnerability concepts. From the content analysis carried out, the theme makes up 7 of the 44 curricular subjects offered. The interviews show the ways of approaching the theme and the vulnerabilities in the training of nurses. Methodologies centered on seminars, video classes, conversation circles, expository-dialogued classes and lectures. Two categories emerged from the analysis: Documentary curricular identity of death and dying; Death and dying: effectiveness and vulnerability in nursing education. The research evidences the fragility in the ways and forms of approaching the theme and the dichotomy between the undergraduate students' and the professors' view, creating vulnerabilities to the practice and professional nursing care. ; Objetivou-se conhecer os modos de abordagem da morte e do morrer no processo ensino aprendizagem do curso de graduação em Enfermagem de uma Universidade Federal do Sul do Brasil. Pesquisa qualitativa descritivo-exploratória, realizada entre 2018 e 2019 por meio de entrevistas semiestruturadas autoaplicáveis com 133 graduandos e coordenadores das fases do curso de enfermagem de uma Universidade de Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, Brasil. E coleta também em fontes documentais, Projeto Político-Pedagógico, as ementas e planos de ensino das disciplinas obrigatórias e optativas do currículo. A análise dos dados seguiu a Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin e discussão a partir de conceitos de vulnerabilidade. Da análise de conteúdo realizada, a temática compõe 7 das 44 disciplinas curriculares oferecidas. As entrevistas evidenciam os modos de abordagem do tema e, as vulnerabilidades na formação da Enfermeira. Metodologias centradas em seminário, videoaula, roda de conversa, aula expositiva-dialogada e palestra. Emergindo duas categorias da análise: Identidade curricular documental da morte e do morrer; Morte e morrer: efetividade e vulnerabilidade na formação em enfermagem. A pesquisa evidencia a fragilidade nos modos e formas de abordagem do tema e dicotomia entre a visão dos graduandos e dos professores, criando vulnerabilidades à prática e ao cuidado profissional de enfermagem.
