ABSTRACTSince the end of the last century, with a significant increase over the last few years, resilience has featured as key concept in many technical, political papers and documents, and appears in many researches. In this paper we present a summary of the literature approaches comparison (initial survey stage of the research) with the aims to identify and understand the approaches to resilience developed; identify which aspects and what resilience strategies these approaches share and propose. The aim is to understand whether the proposed concept of resilience, or rather strategies, constitute progress and contribute to innovation in the areas of urban planning and design in relation to risk mitigation. The first results presented will underline:• The shared resilience strategies and the common concepts taken form the resilience approach and used for the urban systems strategies management/visions;• The methodological and planning instruments used for the integration of resilience inside the planning process;• The innovation aspects developed by the different authors and experiences that could enrich risk mitigation polices.RESUMENDesde finales del siglo pasado, con un aumento significativo en los últimos años, se ha caracterizado a la resiliencia, como un concepto clave dentro de documentos políticos y técnicos y aparece en numerosas investigaciones.
Objective: to know histories resilientes of frequentadoras women of the wheels of Terapia Comunitária Sistêmica Integrativa (TC). Methods: To take care of to the considered objectives, we use the method of Verbal History. The study it was developed with 7 collaborators of the TC wheels, in the community Park of the Sun. Results: When analyzing the empirical material, we construct three thematic axles: the TC space of allotment and wakening of the resilience, resources of imaginary in the process resiliente and Resilience: the force constructed with the life. The TC emerged as a source of awaking of the resilience capacity. Conclusions: Histories assist to see that we are capable to surpass the suffering with the exercise of the resilience, concept that can be significant for the redimensionamento of the research in the field of the communitarian health, mental health and in the field of the nursing, contributing for reflections on education, research and extension.
In the years 1998, 2005 and 2017, three criminal deaths occurred in three spaces close to each other, in the South Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Three middle class youths were brutally murdered and won posthumous tributes, of a sculpture and two graffiti respectively. And in 2018 councilwoman Marielle Franco was murdered, giving rise to a similar social understanding and giving a new meaning to the place where the crime occurred, as well as many others, with artistic interventions. Such spaces and their surroundings, and so many others that punctuate Brazilian cities, could well be called the polygon of violence or the pain circuit, for portraying dead people. In view of this reality, the research presented here deals with an analytical reflection in the light of the concepts of "recollection" and "distraction" by Walter Benjamin, with the communication proposal of Vilém Flusser, also based on the poetics of Fernando Catroga's absence and the cultural studies on the memory of Aleida Assmann, as a proposal for the proper understanding of these practices of urban interventions as a phenomenon and its social function. Finally, the analyzes made it possible to infer that this form of resignification of suffering generates spaces of resilience, since they materialize the memory of the loss in the urban environment, by means of an artistic framework, portraying a last positive image of the deceased, so that other passersby see and be affected by the knowledge of their names and their stories.
Based on an existing database, we explored childhood experiences that differentiated men who became delinquent or involved in substance abuse from those who did not (referred to as resilient) despite growing up in equally adverse circumstances, among a sub sample of men (n=168) included in a previous study on delinquency in five different cities in Colombia. The findings show that resilient men tend to perceive their caregiver as affectionate, available when needed, aware of their whereabouts and able to solve problems on their own more often than men who became delinquent or involved in substance abuse. They were also exposed to less physical abuse and family conflict. These findings appear to be independent of economic status (based on head of the household's occupation level), mother's level of education, mother's age at time of birth, percentage identifying the mother as primary caregiver, percentage born into single parent households, number of siblings, birth order, parental antecedents of crime or alcohol abuse or separations from parents. Although political and social reforms are necessary to guarantee appropriate living conditions equally for all, until these occur, other prevention strategies based on these findings are suggested such as empowering parents, improving the quality of parent-child interactions and mentors.
Primary education in Mexico is facing a growing set of challenges that the government has tried to counteract through the use of communication technologies (ICT) in formal education. While these efforts provide support for students and educators, there remains a need for a renewed and contextualized awareness that will re-conceptualize the adverse experiences of students and the importance of resilience in the context of the learning environment. The objective of this document is to give an account of the learning acquired by nine telesecondary students in a rural area of Hidalgo and the student's benefits of building awareness about the ecology of learning. The paper highlights the process of re-envisioning their experiences that emerged from the various points of views shared in discussion. The study was triangulated by quantitative and qualitative phenomenological and hermeneutical analyses. It was organized into three stages and employed a survey, semi-structured interviews, focus groups and use of the Google-Classroom platform. The hermeneutical analysis of autobiographies and the use of technological resources enhanced the personal analysis of the experiences of the participants. These experiences generated learning that may often be invisible in formal education but can empower critical thinking, collaboration and autonomy of students to become aware of their learning and the scope of their social contribution.

This paper aims to describe some aspects of the Afro-American culture in Colombia starting from the observation of its religious manifestations. The ethnographic analysis of the activities carried out within the framework of the Afro-Colombian Catholic pastoral care allows us to reflect on the importance of the notions of identity, corporeality and spirituality for the descendants of former African slaves in Colombia. From an anthropological point of view, the Afro-Colombian pastoral can be analyzed as a peculiar form of religious syncretism which demonstrates the resilience of African descendents faced with the pressure of the enculturation process led by the Catholic Church.
; Resilience and coping are two topics of great relevance in psychological research. The study and analysis of global risk increase from the environmental crisis resulting from a greater number of interactions and feedbacks between social, economic, political and environmental problems in different spatial and temporal scales require an interdisciplinary perspective that allows to learn in a holistic way the complexity of these problems and propose actions (change agenda) to increase the resilience and sustainability of development in all its dimensions. It strives for the usefulness of the complex adaptive systems approach to bring the study of resilience in social-ecological systems. To do this, the system dynamics from metaphors of adaptive cycles, panarchy and properties that determine these dynamics are described, highlighting the importance of the property called resilience. Think through increasing the resilience of local socio-ecological systems involves considering the dynamic of complex adaptive systems and conclude that this will require to carry out deep transformations at the level of economic and financial global practices, and neoliberal economic model which has fostered a culture of excessive consumption that far exceeds the thresholds necessary for human welfare.
