Gender, sexuality and differences in education: : ethical challenges in times of "ideological doctrination" ; Gênero, sexualidade e diferenças na educação: : desafios éticos em tempos de "doutrinação ideológica"
Following the international mobilizations around the anti-gender policy, in Brazil since 2014 conservative sectors in national concertation have aligned themselves in order to propose bills on the subject in the three legislative spheres. Through an ethnographic research in Uruguaiana-RS/Brazil, we followed the developments of the Escola sem Partido Law Project (PL 01/2017), the first action of a new councilor with a conservative profile, elected with the highest number of votes in that election. One of the effects of this legislative proposal was the expansion of debates on gender in local public schools, as well as the training of the teaching staff. In this text, we analyze the data from training activities in different groups of teachers, in order to discuss the production of meanings around the theme of gender, sexuality and differences. The ethnographic situations analyzed demonstrate how issues about gender and sexuality in the educational context are crossed by social conventions and cultural repertoires, which are the hallmarks of teaching activities in the school environment. The reproduction of unreflective moralities by the teachers poses a challenge to professional ethics. Through theoretical deepening by the teachers, it is believed that there is the possibility of promoting a democratic and plural education for the school community. ; A exemplo das mobilizações internacionais em torno da política antigênero, no Brasil - desde pelo menos 2014 - setores conservadores em concertação nacional alinharam-se de maneira a propor projetos de leis sobre a temática nas três esferas legislativas.
